The Bachelor Season 19 Finale

Well, another season of The Bachelor is in the record books. Chris took the final two women, Becca and Whitney, home to Arlington meet his family and to have one remaining date with each of them. We see Chris on the farm, walking the snow covered fields before arriving at his parents to get together with his family once more.

In Dubuque, we see Whitney getting ready to the farm and meet the family with a bottle of wine and flowers in tow. Once all the introductions are done, they head to the table for lunch. After a heart touching toast, the sisters took Whit aside for a chat. Whit re-iterated that she wanted to move to Arlington and is ready to be a wife and mom. The sisters then chat with Chris and they immediately jump on the bandwagon with “is she the one?” Then when the conversation turns to Becca, it’s obvious that Chris wants them to understand her, but at the same time, he’s once again having difficulties in articulating exactly what he’s attracted to in Becca. Whit then has a chance to talk to Chris’s mom. Whit gets to the heart to heart part of the conversation…she tells Mamma about how her mom died and how she’s wanted and waited for the time when she can call someone mom and dad again. It really seemed to impress his mom for sure. When it came time to say goodbye to each other, Whit and Chris really shared some sweet kisses before she drove off. Chris then met up with the “guys” of the family. He has a chance to try to articulate what it is about each of the women that Chris is attracted to. When all is said and done, it is Jason that asks the tough question. Is Becca the type of woman at a bar that you just can’t get…in other words is the chase what he’s attracted to versus the woman. Guess we’ll see.

Next up, Becca arrives at the farm. I got to say, that Becca’s energy when she arrived to meet the fam, was abundant. They had a chance to meet up for a bit before heading to the table for lunch. There were plenty of laughs and lots of affection spread around, but when the sisters sat down with Becca, and she alluded that she’s not “in love” but is definitely getting there. Becca admits to the sisters that she’s wanting to be with Chris, but on the other hand, she’s not wanting to move anywhere until she absolutely KNOWS that she’s in love and is ready. When Chris sits down, the sisters state how they feel Becca isn’t there and that she’s a hard nut to crack. Becca then sits down with Chris’s mom and they have a chance to get serious. When Becca talks, Mamma points out and actually puts a name on her feelings. Seems like it does shock Becca but on the other hand, if she’s never been in love before, what does she have to compare to? We hear from Becca that she’s not ready to say yes to a proposal but she’s scared as to how this can go considering she doesn’t want to be without Chris forever.

To me, it was clear that Becca isn’t the one that Chris would choose if he listens to his family. Now I say that, but believe me, I am not taking anything away from Whitney and Chris’s connection neither…they are on the same page at the same time it seems.

Becca is the first one that Chris has a last chance date with. They meet up in her hotel room and have a chance to talk. Chris really starts pushing her to articulate exactly where she’s at. When Chris asks about whether Becca can see herself moving, Becca says that she can’t make any promises as to when she’d be ready to pick up her life and move. Becca admits that she wants to get married and have kids, but doesn’t know the timeframe that she can commit to. When Chris asks her why doesn’t she feel that she can say she’s in love and of course, Becca states that she just doesn’t know. When Chris asks her what scares her the most, it is a part of what if they commit to this and when she gets to Arlington, she isn’t ready for it. She has said in ITM’s of how she scared to hurt him. I will say, that was a long and awkward conversation, but one that was really needed.

Up next, Whit arrives at Chris’s to see her potential new home. They meet up with his dad and show Whit about harvesting the corn. When done, Chris took her on a drive to show her the farms that he either owns or part owns before taking her back to his home. She gets a tour of the home before they settle down in front of the fire and have a chance to have a serious chat about their journey so far. We leave off with them in front of the fire and sharing some kisses. For the nighttime portion of their date, Chris heads back to Whit’s hotel where they have a chance to continue on their date. Whit has a chance to tell Chris that being in Arlington was a lot less scarey than she thought it would have been for her. They have a chance to get serious before the end of the night and Chris asks Whit why she’s so certain of them….the answers that she gave obviously hit a cord with him. He says that he’s excited about her and what they have. To me, this is the first time that I have seen Whit get vulnerable in the whole season. It was really good to see as that is the realistic part of this….being vulnerable is the only way that you can completely fall.

The next day, Neil Lane shows up with his bag of tricks…..er rings….and Chris greets him at the door. We also get glimpses of the women walking in and around town as Chris talks about his journey with each and how he feels. Neil shows Chris four different rings. While he’s getting dressed and talking about whether he should get engaged, we get glimpses of the women getting ready and hear from them how they feel towards Chris. Arriving at the barn, Chris and Harrison have a chat about the history of that particular barn and it’s meaning to Chris. Both women are on their way to the farm.

Arriving at the barn first, Becca steps out of the limo to the awaiting Chris Harrison. Heading inside, Becca meets up with Chris where he says that he could see her as his wife, but because she’s not ready, it’s not fair for either of them to take that leap at this point. As they said goodbye, it’s obvious that Becca’s hurt, but as she did all season, she handled it with class. On her parting limo ride, we get her goodbye and it’s obvious too as the limo pulled away, Chris is hurting as well.

When Whit’s limo arrived, Harrison is there to greet it as well. The only question I got to ask…what the heck happened to all that snow between Becca’s departure and Whit’s arrival? Whit walks inside and up the stairs where Chris is waiting for her. Whit is the first one to talk and she states how she came here with an idea of who Chris is and hasn’t been disappointed at all. She tells him how much she loves him and how scared she is. Chris then has a chance to tell her about the different stages in their journey. Chris then tells Whit that he loves her. He then gets down on his knee and proposes to Whit. After sharing a long hug and some kisses, Chris asks Whit to accept his final rose. They then headed out onto the stoop/gate of the barn where they watched the sunset.

For After the Final Rose, we get a chance to see Chris and Becca have their final say. First though, Chris comes out and talks to Harrison. Chris admits that he was falling in love with her, but didn’t love her as there is such a fine line between the two. I think that Chris summed it up, with Becca, it was always a catch up game. He was always farther along than Becca and because of that, they weren’t on the same page. When Becca did have a chance to come out on stage and meet up with Chris, she does admit that she wasn’t there yet. Becca admits that she’s never been in love but was really falling in love as she has loved several things about him.

When Whit comes out on stage….Chris was so excited to see her again as he energetically hugs and kisses her. Whit admits that she never watched the season except for their own dates. Even though she feels confident in what they have, she also admits that she doesn’t really need to see it play out in her face anymore than her living it. Whit says that she’s looking forward to moving to Arlington as it’s in the future, but right now, they are looking forward to just being normal. One thing that we didn’t see on the show, is how just after they got engaged, they were sitting in the open barn when Chris’s parents came walking down the road. They had a sweet moment when the Soules welcomed Whit to the family. Whit admitted that she’s been to the farm a few times since the finale, and of course Harrison had to call her out on it. But IMO, it’s awesome that this is one of the seasons where the final couple have been close enough to each other to have the secret meetings like this. Mind you, on Chris’s farm and it’s remoteness, I think it would be possible to hide anyone there. Jimmy Kimmel then came out and they were able to have some laughs before Kimmel brought out their “gift”. A jersey cow was then presented to Chris and Whit.

The last thing that was done….Harrison brought out the next Bachelorettes….yep, you heard me right. Kaitlyn and Britt will both be starting the Bachelorette season. On night one, the guys that are brought in all vote on who they want to do the season with, and then the other one is sent packing that night. To be honest with you, this will really be interesting. I for one hope it’s Kaitlyn. I don’t know if I can handle a season with Britt. To me, she came across as so fake. So, all you guys out there…..put a word in for us “bloggers” and choose Kaitlyn. That would be a really fun and awesome season.

The Bachelor 19: Fantasy Dates - Bali Bound

Fantasy dates. Some wait all season long to spend all day and night with someone, but this time around as we have been told numerous times, Becca is the virgin of this and it will be interesting to say the least.

We see Chris doing the typical “tourist” thing as he checks out Denpasar. Roaming the streets and checking out the local haunts and activities. I don’t know if it is me or what, but a lot of the music this episode was louder than Chris for Pete’s sake. Chris was staying at the Mulia Resort. What a beautiful resort as you could see from his room.

First up in Bali is Kaitlyn. I have often wondered and questioned it, but what in the heck is with the leg wrap? A lot of past contestants have done it, I have never understood it, and this season, we seem to see it with a lot of women. I digress, back to Kaitlyn and Chris. Chris and Kaitlyn meet up on the streets of Denpasar before heading to one of the local temples where they partake in some local traditions. When they were done there, they began walking the “roads” around the community and checked out a local shop for a drink before they met up with a local that was standing by a monkey statue as he tried to imitate it. It was really cute. They went into the jungle and learned that if they hold onto a banana, the monkeys will climb up onto them and try to retrieve the banana. Sitting down, they were able to enjoy a few “private” moments and kisses before they started talking about their day so far. They also talked about her hometown date and how her stepdad and rest of the family saw their connection and how much they enjoyed their time with Chris.

Meeting up again for the night portion of their date, they walked into a garden area and along a candle lit path before finding their dinner setup as a table was waiting for them. Kaitlyn tries to talk to Chris about why she still has a guard up even though she doesn’t want it there. She’s afraid of getting hurt but knows she needs to let it down for them to be able to move forward. Chris states in an ITM of how he knows that Kaitlyn is there for him and in the end cause of how good of a day they had, he’s really excited for this night to not end. When Chris presents her with the date card, she eagerly agrees and the two head off to check out their suite. Outside, they found a tub full of rose petals with a heart design. Inside, they sit down and try to talk about their connection....or should I say, it’s Kaitlyn that is talking. Chris finally talks and says to Kait of how he’s falling in love with her. An editor’s note here....to me, their kisses don’t really resonate and are not full on and deep. Am I missing something? Please don’t get me wrong....I love Kaitlyn. Love her spunk and her attitude on life. I just don’t know if they are actually right for one another. One thing that I did notice was how short that date was.

The next date is with Whitney. When we first see Chris, he’s walking down a pier in Benoa Harbour and saying how the last time he saw Whit, it was on her HTD and she told him that she loved him. When Whit arrives at the boat, once again we get that leg wrap thing...I must be getting old cause I just don’t get it. LOL. Climbing aboard, they pour their wine and Chris tells us that he has a great date planned for them. Sailing out, they share some snuggle time. We get an ITM from Chris of how Bali is a great place to fall in love. Is it me or was Whit doing most of the talking? Whit started talking to Chris about her sister Kimberly as it was bothering her that Kimberly didn’t give the go ahead for an engagement at the end of this and it was playing on Whit’s mind. One thing that I noticed about Whit, as I have other times throughout the season, she seems really confident of how this will end. My only thought....is she too confident and that will be her downfall? Guess time will tell and considering there is only a couple of weeks to go, we won’t have to wait long.

For the night portion of their date, they met up at the Mulia Resort where they went outside to a garden locale and rounding the corner, find a couch and table waiting for them. We hear in an ITM of how impressed Chris is with Whit’s career and also knows how important it is to her so that gives him pause as to whether she’s willing to move to Arlington. Now as we know, this is nothing new and has basically been a running theme of this season...who will give up what they currently have to move? Whit did admit that it’s getting harder, the farther along the process is getting. When Chris began talking about Arlington, you can see how uneasy she is with the realization of how important this is to Chris. I have to say, her answer was “perfect” but was it too perfect. She said that she would be willing to let go what she does now to be a wife and a mom which is the missing piece right now. The one major thing that is giving me pause though...she said a few times how important her career is to her so, is she saying this answer cause Chris wants it or cause she feels it? Chris said in an ITM that if things continue to go this way with Whit, then he can see himself getting engaged at the end...are the producers setting up the Whitney fans and her herself for a fall?? Chris gives Whit the fantasy suite card and she eagerly jumped at it. Entering the suite, it was gorgeous and complete with a hot tub/Jacuzzi in the corner and some more rose petals. Not much was shown about their time there, not even a talk.

The next day was Chris and Becca’s date. They meet up in Sidemen Bali where Chris is waiting for Becca. He is beaming from ear to ear when she arrives. After a long hug and some sweet kisses, Becca admits to Chris of how much she missed him. What I find interesting is that with Becca, everything has been like real life including this date too. They are checking out the local village and the way they harness the rain water to farm their crops. They hang out with the kids in the village and Becca admits in an ITM that considering she’s falling in love with Chris, if when she tells him that she’s a virgin and it is a deal breaker for him, it would absolutely devastate her. Touring around and doing real life things with Chris is pretty special she admits in another ITM. Spending time with the kids, Chris also echoed the sentiments and called it pretty amazing. Entering into the temple, they were able to interact with the “priest/shaman”. Sorry, but not sure what to call him. Chris asks the gentlemen if he and Becca are meant to be together. After saying a few words, the translator tells them that they are a very good couple. Becca then asks whether Chris will be a good dad someday. The translator says that both of them will be good parents one day for THEIR kids. Chris then asks a question about Becca...what is her biggest weakness as a person? The translator says that she will be hard to control....this immediately surprises Becca and they both get a good laugh about it. Becca gets in one more question and since this was an important date, does the gentleman have any advise. The translator says that they should make love....Immediately you can see how red Becca’s face is. Little does he know how prophetic that is as Becca still has to tell Chris that she’s a virgin. Love Becca, in an ITM, she says just when she wasn’t thinking about it, it pops up again. Sitting down when they were “alone”, they both were commenting on how much they enjoyed the date and missed each other. They both keep wandering around and Chris leads them down to a river where they both get a whole lot closer. One thing with Becca and Chris, he really likes pulling her in for a kiss and to hold her tight.

Gathering for dinner, they meet up in the secret garden by a pool at the Mulia. There are rose petals on the table and they sit down for a chat. Chris says in an ITM of how he’s still concerned that if Becca’s never been in love before, how will she know when it happens. Well, during their chat, the size of Arlington comes up again and it is one real concern with Chris and when Becca opens up about what she’s feeling about the overwhelming want to constantly be around him, missing him and she feels that she’s falling in love with him. When she said that, immediately you can see Chris melt. One thing that Chris says in an ITM that didn’t come up with the other two is that to him, he’s excited that their relationship is moving forward. Chris then hands the fantasy suite card to Becca. As she is reading it and it’s obvious that she’s questioning things, he reaches out and intertwines their fingers and as that seems to be something that he has with Becca all alone...the “hand dance” to me that means something. Between that and how when he wants to pull her in, he puts his hand on her inner thigh and pulls her towards him. Once again, I don’t see him doing that with either Kaitlyn or Whitney. Becca completely agrees to go to the room as she knows that she needs to tell Chris about her being a virgin. In an ITM, Chris calls Becca the whole package. After checking out the suite, they sit down where Becca tells Chris that she’s a virgin. Immediately Chris doesn’t know what to say, but stated that he respects that. He was really wanting her to understand that this is more about making sure this works than worrying about her being a virgin.

The next day, we get a very confused Chris as he’s trying to figure things out. Becca’s someone that he can see himself in a life with. The only problem though, he woke up terrified as he’s not sure what to do. In an ITM, Chris admits that he wants all three to meet his family and it’s obvious how emotional he’s becoming as he knows that he really has to let one go and he’s not ready to do so. Chris admits to having anxiety with regards to what he’s going to do. When Chris Harrison shows up, Chris is still in turmoil and not exactly sure what he’s going to do, although he admits to Harrison that it’s more so because he feels that he’s in the process of falling in love and not ready to hurt one woman.

When everyone is lined up for the Rose Ceremony, it is Chris that asks Becca for them to have a chat. Immediately we get a “smile” from Whit. I guess she was feeling better that it may not be her going home. When Chris and Becca are talking alone, Becca is wanting him to know that it’s not the point of going home, but the point that she doesn’t want to be without him. She’s crazy about him and wants him to know exactly how she’s feeling and that she’s falling in love with him and KNOWS that now. The one thing that she wants Chris to know is that Arlington is definitely not off the table by any means and that she will do whatever it takes. When Chris and Becca walk back in, you can see the other two getting pretty panicked. I guess they thought they were the final two and as Kaitlyn said to Whit, her gutt was telling her that Chris was actually saying goodbye to Becca.

Chris hands out the first rose to Whitney who eagerly accepts, then we get a long baited pause before Chris announces Becca’s name. She too gladly accepts the rose and Kaitlyn is the one that has to leave broken hearted. I feel really sad for Kaitlyn and hope that maybe, just maybe, we’ll be lucky to have her back as the Bachelorette. Right now though, you can see how heart broken she is.

Well, next week is the famous Women Tell All. I think that unless there is something earth shattering revealed, I may not do a blog next week. The Bachelor – Epi 7 and Hometown Dates

First off, I know this will be a long post, but remember, it is a two night extravaganza. LOL.

The Chris tells all ended up being nothing really new. Just a few tidbits of what he felt when the filming was going on. Now the bit of Kelsey....That’s a whole other matter. The more Kelsey talked and the past glimpses of the show aired, the more I realized that Kelsey is a person that has to be in control of the situation and since she signed up for a show that was totally out of her control at all times, I guess it broke her. Another thing that came to mind is how her part must have been taped before the last couple of episodes aired. IMO, there’s no way she would have been that confident of what she was saying if that was taped after the airing. Kelsey came off as being more loopy after her segment than before….Is that possible??

The segment with Andi on the other hand was pretty excruciating. It’s obvious that she’s still torn up about it and IMO, she may not of been the one to actually pull out from their relationship because of how emotional she is about it even now. Not that I am privy to any information on it, just my impression after watching it.

NOW for this season…….

The episode began back in South Dakota where the women arrived by horse drawn carriage to the Martin & Mason Hotel(one of the oldest hotels that had ever been in Deadwood. 1893.) where there was a brief chat with the ladies before Chris took Megan aside and said goodbye to her. After walking her out, then coming back to the ladies, Chris Harrison came back into the room and said that there is another one going home tonight. Chris and Harrison walked away and Chris said that he wanted to take the remaining women to Iowa. When Chris came back and told the women, they were all a lot happier about it.

Next place........Iowa

After the women arrived at the Renaissance De Moines Savery Hotel, they checked out their suite before Britt found the date card. Jade.....join me in my hometown. Chris. Of course, Jade was so happy and the look on Britt’s face was obvious. She immediately said to Jade of how happy she was, but also she was really jealous. Meanwhile, Jade is on her way to Arlington to meet up with Chris. When Jade arrives, Chris shows her around the place starting off with his house then the farm and buildings. Although Chris seems excited, Jade seems pretty apprehensive.

Back with the other women at the hotel, the next date card arrives…. Whitney, let’s look for love in Des Moines. She immediately perks up knowing that she will get some more time with Chris alone.

Back in Arlington, Chris and Jade ride into Arlington town site and Chris is able to show Jade more of the town. In a way, it is so sad as so many businesses have had to shut down as there just isn’t the quantity of people in the community anymore that there once was. Meanwhile, we are getting ITM’s from Jade and in each of them, there is a cloud of doubt as to whether she can actually live in this situation. From downtown they head to the football game at the school where Chris went to at Starmont High School. Here Jade had a chance to meet people that Chris knows as well as his mom and dad.

At the hotel, the girls are still talking about how Jade got the date and Britt of course, even though she just had a date the previous week, she feels entitled to an individual date and really ticked off that it wasn’t in Arlington.

Back with Jade and Chris, they walk through the halls of Starmont and Chris is remembering the “old days” as they walk into his old English room, they have a talk and Jade touches on her past. They get into a makeout session against the lockers outside of his old English room. Heading back outside, they sit down to watch the remainder of the football game. Of course there is a chant of kiss Chris on the football field.

Up next, Chris and Whitney check out the community of Des Moines. They check out the art gallery in Des Moines. Here Whit finds out that today, they will be taking pics of themselves as they tour around Des Moines.

Back at the hotel though, Britt once again is giving a show with how she is “upset” that it was Jade that saw Chris’s hometown and not her. Come on, seriously? To me, she is acting for acting sake. No person can actually be that bent out of shape over things and she really just wants to monopolize the camera and the time with Chris for that matter(going by twitter, I am not the only person feeling this either…if she’s not the final one, I seriously doubt that she will geta backing on being the next Bachelorette as we all know, someone from this season will likely be one). Looking at the other women there, they too are obviously getting fed up. I think that they are catching on with her act too. Then the chat is that they are going on a road trip to Arlington to check it out. We see Carly, Kaitlyn, Becca and Britt heading off to check out the town.

Chris and Whit are still touring around the community checking things out. They sit down by the river in the park and begin to check out the pics that they took. They choose their favorite one.

The ladies have reached Arlington and they are obviously taken aback by the looks and how quiet the town is. They get out and check out the town. Britt was obviously thinking that this won’t work for her. As they are walking around, they meet up with a couple of the locals and have a chance to ask a couple of questions. One of the guys that they are talking to is actually the pastor of the local church. As they walk through town, we get Becca stating how she wants to pop out babies and stay there....hmm, is that a clue as to maybe Becca is the F1? Stay tuned, as Chris says.

Back in Des Moines, Chris and Whit head to a local bar, Rocca, where they sit down for a bit. Not long after they are there, three of Chris’s best friends show up and have a chance to quiz Whit and find out if she could possibly be the one for him. It totally impressed her that Chris would invite his friends to meet her. After some serious questions, we get an ITM from Whit of how even though the tough questions were asked, she thought she passed the test.

The women are sitting around and discussing how small Arlington is. Through the day, Britt kept telling Carly and Kaitlyn that there’s no way she can live in that small of a town. Now sitting down with Jade there, Britt tells Jade that on the way back to the hotel and especially when the sun sets, she found it so gorgeous that she realized that the countryside is beautiful. Sorry, but I for one am not falling for that. They are still sitting there talking when the date card arrives. Jade reads out the card. Britt, Carly and Kaitlyn....Icy our future together...Chris. Kaitlyn is immediately put out as she really thought that she will get the last individual date since her last individual date was in epi 3. Immediately we get another drama session from Britt. Sorry, but I am completely over this chick already.

At Rocca, Chris and Whit are still with his friends when he “politely” kicks them to the curb so that he can take Whitney out to show her the last surprise that he has in store for her. Saying goodbye to his friends, they all hugged it out. We get an ITM from Whitney stating how big it is for her to meet her friends. Then when Chris and Whitney are talking and she tells Chris that yea, her mother died, but she also doesn’t have a relationship with her father either. Whit tells Chris of how her mother died and how she doesn’t have a relationship with her father. When she was done, Chris took her outside to show her what happened while they were busy throughout the day, artists came to the building to paint a mural of their favorite pic. In an ITM, we get Chris stating how he feels that Whit is a person that he can see spending his life with. In an ITM, we hear Whit say that she fell in love tonight with Chris.

Back at the hotel the next day, Whit briefly tells the other women about her date. It was Jade, Whit and Becca there. Carly and Jade are sitting down when Jade in an ITM tells us that there is something weighing on her mind that she really needs to tell Chris about. When she sits down with Carly, Jade tells her that she had done a nude playboy photoshoot a few years before.

Up next the drama filled group date.

When they arrive at the arena, of course Britt was the first to hug Chris and in Britt fashion, she made a show of hugging him with her legs all around him in front of the other two. They joined Chris on the ice playing around with hockey sticks and pucks. The women seemed pretty graceful, Chris, not so much. Britt was the first of course to get alone time with Chris and during that time, she tried to tell Chris that she really enjoyed his hometown...again, not falling for the drama act. Meanwhile, on the ice, Kaitlyn and Carly are still waiting for Britt and Chris to return when they begin to chat about Britt and how she didn’t like the town. Then outside with Britt, she’s telling Chris a story of how she didn’t like it when she first saw it, then when they were driving back, the sunset was amazing and all of a sudden she could see herself there. Really Britt? One sunset and you can take back all the crap about not liking the town? While Britt is widdling away at her story, we get ITM’s from Carly telling us how Britt actually was on their day trip compared to the “lies” that she’s telling Chris. When they come back in, Chris takes Carly up for a chat. Carly does take her chance to tell Chris the whole story instead of the mini bites that Chris has gotten from Britt. For the night portion of their date, they went to the West End Salvage. When they were in there, Chris took Britt aside one more time to find out if Carly was telling the truth or not. When Chris did bring up Arlington again, he looked like he realized that Britt wasn’t telling the truth...at least going by his jawline and how tense he was. How could Britt not read that....heck, I haven’t even met the guy in person and I could see it. She hedged around the question and basically refused to get deep with him on the answers. Chris then takes Kaitlyn aside and she admits to Chris that she’s feeling behind in the process. Chris can tell that she’s getting really stressed and she admits that the connection is there for her and that they haven’t had a lot of time together especially when it is compared to Britt, Jade, etc. Chris tells her that the feelings are there for him too and that he’s not questioning her and his feelings for her as well. Chris left her for a few minutes while he went out to retrieve the rose(which sent Britt into la la land). When he comes back, he tells Kaitlyn how he feels and asks her to accept the rose. Of course she accepts it and they are able to share some kisses. It’s obvious how impressed that Kaitlyn was that she got the rose and was overcome by it. It was one of the first times that we saw the deep side of Kaitlyn. Coming back to the other two though was a completely different matter. Talk about the death stares that Britt was giving Chris...holy moly, the poor guy would be dead if that stare could kill. There was so much tension in that room, you could cut it with a knife. As Chris is trying to give off a speech, Britt cuts into him about why he gave the rose to Kaitlyn versus herself. Poor Carly was trying to break the mood but there was no way to shut Britt down at that moment. When Britt went on about why she should of gotten the rose instead of someone else. As Britt kept going, she was truely putting Kaitlyn down and making Britt number one again. This girl looks and acts like she’s always been number one and others are in her way. The more Britt talks, the more uncomfortable she makes everyone feel. Chris tries to make Britt realize that he is having doubts and that Britt is the one that should of been validated instead of Kaitlyn. After Chris leaves, Britt carries on and it’s obvious the other two are getting fed up. Both Carly and Kaitlyn handled the situation with class.

Back at the hotel, Kaitlyn and Carly have a chance to tell Jade and Whitney what happened that night. The fact that Britt really blew it.

Tonight’s episode begins where we left off. Becca finally gets the last individual date in Iowa. Chris is talking about the group date the night before as he’s walking to meet up with Becca. The walk back to the loft where he’s staying. They just sat there and talked like a normal date according to Becca. They were able to snuggle up on the couch and get into some deep questions. Chris talks about how since Becca has never been in love before, this would be amazing if this is the first and last time that she tells someone that she loves him.

Back at the hotel, the girls are talking about Britt and the date the night before. Then on cue, Britt comes out and the water-works begins and it is the Britt show all over again. Britt is talking about how she may leave before the rose ceremony cause there’s nothing that Chris can say to change her mind, then 2 seconds later, she’s changed her mind and says that if he tells her that he wants to stay, then she will. Talk about whiplash that the others are going through as they sit there and listen to her changing her mind left, right and center.

The women are getting ready for the rose ceremony and packing up their stuff before their last cocktail party and rose ceremony. Britt says in an ITM of how she really needs to talk to Chris before the rose ceremony and tell Chris that she’s leaving. Then we get Harrison coming to the room and telling the women that there won’t be a cocktail party as Chris knows what he wants and they are going straight to the rose ceremony. We then get a clip from Britt saying how ticked off she is that there won’t be a time to say a proper goodbye to Chris as she’s the one that wants to tell Chris that she’s making the decision.

When Chris and the women arrive at the cocktail party and Chris begins his speech but before he can finish, of course Britt takes the stage and interrupts Chris to take him aside. When Britt and Chris are talking....let me rephrase that, while Britt is doing all the talking, the women in the other room are getting worried that Britt will talk her way back into Chris’s heart. When Chris begins talking, she constantly interrupts him. In the end, it is Chris that is saying no to her. Then as they are hugging goodbye, she is almost begging him to take her back. I am sorry but this chick is trying to get into the Hollywood scene as an acting career here or she is one loopy woman.

For the rose ceremony itself, Chris hands out the roses to Whitney, Becca, and Jade. Along with Kaitlyn who already had her rose from the group date.

Episode eight and the hometown dates start off with Becca in Shreveport, Louisiana. Becca is waiting for him in the park. We get an ITM from Chris saying how he loves a lot of things about Becca, they have an amazing chemistry and it’s been so easy with her. When they meet up, they mention how they missed one another and after sharing some great kisses and hugs. When Becca tells Chris that there are ‘gators there and part of a right of passage to wrestle one if there’s a problem. They head out on the river/pond in a canoe and Becca is doing a lot of the talking about her feelings.

When they arrive at Becca’s sister’s home, there is a crowd to greet them. Chris talks about how this is the first time that Becca’s brought someone home to meet the family. Becca’s sister Katie talks to Chris about how Becca has never been intimate with a guy in front of her family....not even a hand on the knee for that matter. Although Chris says that he really feels at home in the family, the fact that Becca hasn’t brought someone home before, Chris is feeling added pressure. Chris talks with her mom as well; the talk starts out kind of harsh, but it didn’t take long before her mom started getting soft towards Chris. In the end of their talk, she just had one hope is that Chris wouldn’t break her heart. Before parting, they shared a hug and Chris says in an ITM of how it’s really great that Becca brought him home and it would be amazing if she’s been waiting for him for this long. As Chris and Becca are saying goodbye to one another and sharing a lot of sweet kisses and hugs, Chris says that he has something to tell her as she will be coming with him. They drive off and end up at the State Fair where Chris surprises her with a ferris wheel ride. Let’s just say, Becca has no problem showing her affection towards Chris as they share some kisses and hugs.

Up next, Whit’s hometown date in Chicago. We first get an ITM from Whit of how she has some things planned for them and she wants to share with him that she loves him. Whit asks Chris if he’d like to go make a baby. She takes him to the clinic where they don scrubs and Whit shows Chris how they make babies in the lab. When they were done, Whit’s boss comes by and tells him that there is a specimen cup for him, Whit takes him to the man’s room where there are playboys and movies there. Just as Chris is getting really uncomfortable, Whit tells him that it’s a joke and they leave the room. We get an ITM where Chris states how Whit can play around with him and goof off and that is what he likes about her. After they leave the clinic, they head to the family’s place where there are no parents to meet so Chris wanted to find out who to ask to get the blessing to marry Whit. Chris meets the family; Whit’s sister, her uncle, and her gramma. They sit down for dinner and not too much longer, Chris and Uncle Johnny sit down to talk. Chris finds out some secrets about Whit with her strength and vulnerability. Meanwhile, Whit and her sister, Kimberly, sit down for a chat. When Whit tries to tell her that Chris may be asking her for her blessing. This of course puts a roadblock in their way...the sister is unwilling to give her blessing unless there is only her left and she’s the one that he wants. Chris and Kimberly sit down for a chat...Chris asks for the blessing and Kimberly is unwilling to give it unless Whit’s the one. The one thing that Kimberly said is to call her when that is the case and they will talk then.

Chris and Whit sit down at Whit’s place and they talk. Chris tells Whit that Kimberly’s chat was the hardest as she was unwilling to give the blessing to marry Whit at that time. In an ITM, Whit said that although this is her’s decision, she’s really sore that Kimberly couldn’t give her the one thing that she wanted. Whit tells us that she really needs to tell Chris. We then get a clip of Whit telling Chris that she bought a pricy wine in Nappa Valley when she was there and she wanted to share it with the man that she wants to marry. She does tell Chris that she’s in love with him. We then get an ITM from Chris stating how amazing it was to know that Whit loves him and he could see her as his wife.

Up next is Kaitlyn’s hometown date. Kait is from a small town in Canada and since her family lives in Phoenix during the winter, that is where they were spending her htd. We first get an itm from her stating why they are having a date in Phoenix. They meet up and share a kiss before Kaitlyn tells Chris that they will be having a picnic amongst the dumpsters and in the back alley since he took her to costco, she thought she’d carry on the theme. I love Kaitlyn, she’s a riot. We then get an ITM from Chris of how he’s over the moon to meet up with Kaitlyn again. She’s fun and she likes to cut loose a bit. She then directs him to a recording studio where she tells him that they will be writing and recording a rap song today. They begin to make the song but as Kaitlyn says they had to take a few takes of it for sure. We get an ITM from Chris stating how he sucks at singing and rap songs but one thing for sure, his life wouldn’t be boring as Kaitlyn is full of fun.

When they arrive at the home, Chris is meeting her mom, Leslie and stepfather, Rob, her dad, Mike, and stepmom, Kathy and her sister, Haley. Chris is amazed how even in a divorced and unconventional family like Kaitlyn’s, there is a lot of love and support as they have come together and made things work. When Chris tells the family at dinner of how he feels the love there, that touches Leslie. Leslie takes Kaitlyn aside to chat with her and Kait tells Leslie that she’s definitely falling for Chris and she’s afraid that if she doesn’t tell Chris how she feels, she’s afraid that she may lose Chris. After they were done with the family, Kait took Chris to show him a surprise....a billboard that shows Kaitlyn hearts Chris. Chris says in an ITM of how Kaitlyn doing the sign showed him that she is falling for him and letting her guard down as best as she can. They shared some kisses before we leave them standing there with the sign in the background.

Up next is Jade’s hometown date where she has a few surprises waiting for Chris. We first get an ITM from Chris of how he’s looking forward to meet up with Jade to find out what molded her into who she is today. Then we get an ITM from Jade of how she really needs to tell Chris about her past and her playboy photoshoot. They arrive at the family’s home where Chris finally meets her family. There is her mom and dad as well as her two brothers. Chris gives Jade a gift...a leather jacket from the football team that they watched on her individual date. Chris first takes her dad aside and they chat. Chris admits that he’s falling for Jade. Even though the dad is hinting that there’s more to Jade that Chris knows, he’s still giving Chris the blessing. Chris then takes the brothers aside where Jade is referred to as a ‘wild mustang’. Jade then sits down with her dad. Jade is then told that all he wants is that there is someone that will love Jade for who she is and not put her down with it. In an ITM, we hear Jade saying how she really needs to sit down with Chris and show him about her past playboy photo shoot.

Sitting down in Chris’s hotel room, Jade tells Chris that there’s something that she needs to tell him. Chris tells Jade that her brother has referred to her as a ‘wild mustang’ which Jade likes, but she’s really scared to tell him. She then does and you can see how tense Chris becomes. When Jade does tell him, you can visibly see how taken aback Chris is. Jade asks him if he wants to see the photos of the shoot. He agrees hesitantly. Jade comes back with the laptop computer and shows him the less risqué pics to begin with, then continues on to the complete nude pics of her followed by a video where she takes off all her clothes. You can visibly see how uncomfortable Chris is....even though he’s only judging her on who she is now and how this won’t affect their relationship....you can see that Chris is having serious doubts. They share a few kisses before saying goodbye. In an ITM from Jade she is saying that she’s so relieved that Chris handled it well. In another ITM from Chris, he says that it’s not exactly a deal breaker but coming from a conservative Iowa, it could make things difficult. He ends his ITM saying that if she’s his soul mate, he’ll stand beside her no matter what.

Chris is getting ready for the rose ceremony when Harrison comes by to talk to him. Going in to meet up with the women, Chris makes a speech of how tonight is the toughest night he’s had in his entire life. Handing out the roses, he gives one to Whitney, Kaitlyn and Becca leaving Jade as the one that needs to go home tonight. Walking her out, it’s obvious that Chris is torn.

Next week, is the fantasy suites and complete days alone for all of the remaining three women.

The Bachelor 19 – Epi 6: Drama and Guns

Oh boy, where to begin.... We start with Kelsey on the floor in her fake panic attack. All the women know that she’s pulling a fast one and that there is absolutely nothing wrong with her. When Chris’s name is mentioned, she immediately turns all weird and full of giggles. Of course she wants to talk to him and get her alone time with him. He even has to give her a hug and kiss at that time. When she comes back to the women, she begins to apologize for her panic attack and begins to act all giddy that she’s pulled the wool over Chris’s eyes again and now instead of someone else staying, they will be going home and she will be staying there. Then in an ITM, she acts so giddy that she’s done her “job”. Sorry, but give me a break...

All the women are lined up for the rose ceremony. Chris gives his traditional speech before handing out the roses. Besides Carly, Whitney and Britt, roses were handed out to Jade, Kaitlyn, Megan, Becca, Ashley and Kelsey. Oh goody, the two drama queens are still there. When are we finally going to see the love stories develop?

Well, the next stop is Deadwood, South Dakota. Seems like Chris really enjoyed the old style photoshoot with all the historic items in the area. Meanwhile, we get the girls arriving at the hotel and Kelsey and Britt out talking on the balcony about Kelsey`s hope for an individual date. Somehow she feels that she`s earned the individual date....NOPE!

When they find the date card, it is for Becca. Let’s give love a shot….Chris. Immediately we get the disgusted look on Kelsey’s face and an ITM stating how she’s not happy, very frustrated and totally put out that things are really unfair. I don’t know if it’s just me or not, but this Kelsey chick is really starting, well not starting, but well on her way to sounding pretty kooky.

They meet up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and after walking a short while down the trail, they come along two horses and a donkey waiting for them. Becca seems really excited for this as she’s never been horseback riding before. Chris tells us that she looked so smoking hot on the horse and looked like a natural.

Back with Becca and Chris, they are sitting by the fire and cooking kabobs. Both of them are laughing so hard at each other. They start talking about their five year plans….this was so funny as Chris said that his plan started 10 years before so Becca immediately asked him about his 15 year plan….they also talked about how many kids they wanted, etc. Becca began talking about her past relationship and what happened with it also of what she felt she needed from a future one, as did Chris. Just when things were going forward and we the viewers were getting into what’s going on, we get interrupted and sent back to the hotel.

The next date card arrives and Kaitlyn is the one to read it out. Whitney, Jade, Britt, Kaitlyn, Carly and Megan. Let’s make sweet music together….Chris. We get an ITM from Ashley stating how she wants to do the 2/1 as she knows she will get a rose. Meanwhile Kelsey actually thinks that it will be more like a 1/1 with her taking the first place.

Back by the fire with Chris and Becca; they are enjoying the fire when Chris grabs the rose and tells her that he’s had such an amazing date with her and doesn’t think he would have had that with someone else. They shared a few kisses before the date ended.

Next up is the group date. The first to greet Chris is Kaitlyn followed by Whitney, Jade, Carly before the camera panned off to another direction. When they finally walked to the Stockade Bar, Chris informed the women of how Country Music is a big part of his life and the women would be writing songs. The two advisors to help them are Big Kenny and John Rich. The two of them went around the room helping all the women with their songs. As they were in the group, Chris and Britt were kissing in view of the other women. Immediately you can see how uncomfortable the other women were with it all. When it came to the singing, Chris went first. When it comes to the women singing, Britt was first followed by Whitney, Kaitlyn, Megan, Carly who dragged Chris up to the stage to sing to, with Jade rounding out the group.

Back at the hotel, Becca has the 2/1 date card and reads it out: Two girls, one rose, one stays, one goes: Let’s have good times in the badlands, Chris. Immediately Kelsey began to insult and put down Ashley, both in front of her and behind the scenes in an ITM.

Back at the saloon with Chris and the women, he has a chance to talk to Jade, followed by Kaitlyn and finally Britt who he takes out of the saloon and up to the hotel where they enter the Big and Rich concert. They dance for a song in the crowd before Big and Rich brings them up on the stage where Chris hands out the rose to Britt and then they dance to a few songs on the stage before they end up back at the saloon and the rest of the women. When they return though, the room is absolutely silent and the dagger stares that Chris got were out of this world. After Chris left, the women all had ITM’s about the date and it was very obvious how much Chris giving Britt the rose in that situation threw them all off guard. When Chris “thought” it was better not to hand the rose out in front of the group kind of majorly backfired.

Up next is the 2/1 in the badlands. Do we all think that there will some drama here with the queens of drama heading to the badlands? Oh boy, hold on and buckle up.....this will get a little wild for sure.

We start off with an ITM from Ashley talking about her being the good witch and the wicked witch of the west being Kelsey. Yea, this won’t be drama filled at all.....YIKES! Flying to the badlands, they showed a ground squirrel and all I can think about is the poor animal won’t be getting much quiet time today with both of these drama queens spouting off. Ashley gets some time with Chris first. After sharing some kisses, Chris was able to finally come up for air and get Ashley to talk. Needless to say, it didn’t take her long to spill the beans for sure as she told Chris of how she can’t meld with the group and the fact that she puts a lot of stuff on. When Chris took Kelsey aside, Kelsey immediately said how you can’t meld with the group if you are trying to date him. When Chris tells Kelsey what Ashley told him, you can see the wheels spinning immediately and trying to figure out how she’s going to get out of this mess.....cam we say Trish during Jesse Palmer’s season.....Yikes! When Kelsey comes back to the platform where Ashley is waiting, we get one of the most historic staredowns that the show has ever had. When Ashley finally breaks and looks at Kelsey, the first thing that Kelsey says is that she knows what Ashley did. After some harsh words, Ashley leaves the platform and we get some ridiculous ITM’s from Kelsey about her knowledge, and where Ashley stands compared to her. Give me a break! Ashley finds Chris and pulls him away so that they can talk. In tears, she asks Chris why he told Kelsey what she told him. Of course, commercial break.....when we come back, we see Chris and Ashley talking. Chris tries to console Ashley and when Chris says how he feels that they aren’t in the same spot in their lives and that’s why he needs to let her go. Immediately, Ashley’s comeback is about Britt. Ashley storms off and we immediately get a glimpse of Kelsey on the platform with a smirk on her face. Chris comes back to the platform and Kelsey. He tells her that she says goodbye to Ashley and Kelsey is immediately relieved as she thinks the rose is hers. Then Chris tells her that she too will be leaving as he can’t see if there is an “us” with them and she needs to leave. When the girls realize that Kelsey too is gone, they break out the champagne.

Meanwhile, back in the badlands, Kelsey is trying to convince us all that her heartbreak is so severe but she will survive cause she is at the top overlooking all others....All I can say is look out any future prospects as things are going to get bad and hard for any other guy that dares to come to her.

Well, that’s the end of the show tonight. Next week there is a two night event beginning on Sunday when the cocktail party and rose ceremony are done, then we get a look back at the season with Chris along with the episode in Iowa when Chris takes the women back to the farm and Arlington. Finally we see the hometown dates to beat them all when Jade’s secret is revealed to Chris. Yea, that won’t go over well. By the looks of it, Britt finally realizes that the Iowa town and Chris aren’t for her. Not to mention that there may be one or two more feeling the same...will Chris be able to talk them back down off the fence?

Jade snares her second one-on-one date and the chance to visit Chris’ hometown of Arlington, Iowa. Another one-on-one date with Whitney to Des Moines has the couple celebrating love in photos, but then she is grilled by Chris’ best friends. What will be their verdict? The rest of the women decide to take their own road trip to Arlington, and they are in for a reality check. How will they react to the town being that small? One woman shares a dark secret she has been keeping from Chris, but when will he find out? A high stakes group date pits two frontrunners against an underdog with the rose winner automatically getting a hometown date. It all culminates in one jealous woman confronting Chris in a devastating meltdown, on “The Bachelor,” SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 15 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Jade has the other women pea-green with envy as Chris picks her to go to Arlington with him. She is skeptical as they tour the tiny town, but falls in love with its people – including Chris’ parents -- once they attend a local high school football game. Is she convinced small town life is for her?

Whitney and Chris visit Iowa’s state capitol of Des Moines, where they are inspired by a photo exhibit celebrating love to snap their own photos, capturing what love means to them. Afterwards, Chris introduces Whitney to his best friends, who grill her on her intentions. Will she raise red flags or win their hearts?

Back at the hotel, the remaining women decide to take a spontaneous road trip to Arlington to explore it themselves. In an OMG moment, they all finally realize what their future might be like. One woman is having second thoughts about whether this is what life really has in store for her.

On this week’s group date, Chris takes three women to an ice skating rink for some fun, but clashing interests has one jealous woman warning him that another bachelorette on the date isn’t being truthful about her love of his hometown. After Chris presents one lucky lady with the rose and the guarantee of a hometown date, one of the other devastated bachelorettes faces off with him. Will it push Chris to the edge or will he cave to her demands?

The Bachelor 19 Epi 5: The Cray Cray at a Whole ‘nother’ Level

Yea, Yea, I know what you are all thinking…this wouldn’t be the Bachelor without the Cray being brought forward, but let’s say tonight it reached a whole other level. It started out in a place that even the Bachelor had never gone before and it seemed pretty “out-there”, but let’s also say that before the episode ended, that beginning also seemed very tame.

The episode begins in Santa Fe with Chris’s arrival, he’s talking about how he feels that Santa Fe could be the place where he falls in love. Back at the mansion, the ‘other’ Chris tells the women what’s happening this week of how there will be two individual dates and one group date. The women arrive in Santa(yes, my nickname as I am going to be fed up writing it all out before the end of the show, no doubt) and check out their accommodations at the Buffalo Thunder Casino Resort. It is Jade that gets the date card and reads it out….Carly, let’s come together..Chris. Because this is her first individual date, she is obviously pumped.

We see Chris waiting outside the hacienda del Cerezo waiting for Carly to arrive. They walk inside this huge home to find there is no one there. Walking through, they keep calling out ‘hello’ to no avail till they come outside by the pool where there is the “love guru” waiting for them. Yep, that’s right, a love guru. Granted, I am not a very open minded person when it comes to something like this and believe me, I am fine with that, but on the other hand the two of them seemed as uncomfortable doing what the guru wanted as it was for me to watch them doing it. SO….in light of that, forgive me, but I am not going to elaborate on their date at this point. What I will say though is that they were changed into other garments than what they arrived in, were given breathing exercises and eventually went into very sensual and “private”(that some many millions are witnessing) exercises to enhance their relationship. Thankfully when it came to the undressing of each other, they called a halt to the events before they took their pants off. Ok, that’s enough of this….carrying on now.

Back at the hotel, Ashley I. and Kelsey are talking, and Kelsey tells her about her husband dying. I am truly sorry, but this is where the weird begins with Kelsey for me. If you had a husband and he died, wouldn’t you be sincere in talking about him and maybe even emotional when it comes to telling other women? The group date card arrives and it is Megan who reads out the card, Jade, Megan, Kaitlyn, Whitney, Mackenzie, Becca, Samantha, Ashley and Kelsey…..I am rapidly falling in love. Chris. This immediately puts Kelsey on the attack stating in an ITM of how she really needs the individual date as she needs to tell Chris her ‘story’ and the fact that there are other women throwing themselves at Chris, this is unacceptable(yep, the crazy continues).

When we return to Chris and Carly, they are at the Bishop’s Lodge for their evening portion of the date. Carly was able to open up to Chris and tell him about her last boyfriend and of how they had been together for over 2 years and he never was physical with her at all. In a way, this date gave her the confidence that she needs. Before the end of the date, Chris gave Carly the rose and asked her to stay. I got to say, until tonight, I saw the goofy and fun sides of Carly, after tonight, I know that there is a bunch more there for sure….Layers.

The next day, the women arrive on the banks of the Rio Grande for some white water rafting with Chris. After the speech by their guide of the hazards of the river, the group gear up and get into their rafts. Heading down the river, all was fun and games till Jade took a tumble out of the raft. Swiftly though, their guide pulls her back in. Heading to shore, Jade gets changed into other clothes and gets some quality time with Chris as he is massaging her feet and hands to get the circulation back. According to her, she has a condition that her body can’t regulate cold very well. And once again we get a complaining chorus from Kelsey. One can’t help but wonder, is she really like this or what in the world did she do to upset the crew?

The group heads back to get changed and ready for the night portion of the date. At their resort, they meet up in one of the restaurants/bars there and wait, and wait, and wait some more for Chris to arrive. BUT, he’s detained in the lobby by Jordan….WHAT, yea, Jordan came back to try for another go with Chris. When Chris does appear, he’s got Jordan on his arm which of course freaks out the other women there. One of the first women to get alone time with Chris was Ashley I. Of course, Jordan was the main topic of conversation throughout the date. The next one is Becca, followed by Megan, Kelsey, Kaitlyn(who was one of the few not talking about Jordan), most with an attitude towards Chris for Jordan being there. While Chris and Jordan were talking, Whitney and Ashley I found themselves in a heated spat. It is true what Whitney said with regards to not really needing to be mean as Ashley I was being, then again, I wasn’t there but it was obvious that the conversation got really heated.

Back in the room, Carly and Britt got into a conversation and it was divulged that Britt hasn’t showered in weeks…heck, she only recently shaved for Pete’s sake. I am sorry, but that whole conversation grossed me out. Now if she has baths and not showers, then that should have been said. While they were there alone, Britt’s date card arrived. The Sky’s the Limit….Chris. Talk about being melodramatic about her date and her fear of heights. Before the date even begins and she knows what she’s doing, she’s already bringing the drama.

Chris takes Jordan aside and tells her that she can’t stay as he’s not willing to take her back. She returns to the group to say her goodbyes before heading out. Meanwhile the women are still hashing things out about Jordan. When he comes back, it was time to hand out the group date rose and he asked Whitney to accept it to which she readily did. Wow, Ashley I was so pissed that Whitney got the rose. Ashley even stated in an itm of how earlier in the day in the boat she actually thought that she didn’t have to worry about “that” who was Whit of course. Talk about some kind of venom going on….. When the other women came back to the room, Whit, Kaitlyn, Britt, Carly, and Kelsey were all sitting around and talking about how the night went. It was obvious to Whitney of how ticked off Ashley was.

The next day was Britt and Chris’s date. Chris sneaks into the women’s suite to wake up Britt and take her for their date. The problem is, they were noisy enough to wake up the other women who in turn were not too impressed with all the kissing that was happening in front of them. What the heck, Britt wakes up with a full face of makeup on. Good grief….doesn’t the average one take their makeup OFF at night….heck, Britt puts it on. It is still dark when they head out to their date location. Pulling up, they find a hot air balloon waiting for them. Taking off over the Rio Grande gorge, they had a breathtaking sight seeing trip over the desert.

Back at the resort, the women are discussing Britt and her bathing habits again not to mention their wakeup call the rest of the women had. While we get glimpses of the women talking, we are also seeing Chris and Britt back in his room getting cozy. They are talking about how many kids they want, etc and the whole while, we are seeing the women talk about Britt and how manipulative she is, etc. Back in Chris’s room, Britt and he are now in his bed cuddling and kissing with an ITM from Britt of how this date started in bed and ended in bed.

When Britt does get back to the suite with a rose none the less, the women aren’t impressed to say the least. Then of course, Britt goes into detail about her date. She even said how they took a nap and slept for like two hours together. Then we get another treatment of the crazy Kelsey’s pattern. She heads to Chris’s suite to talk to him. She begins to tell Chris about her “story”. Already she is so emotional….far more than she was with telling the other women her story. There it was more of a matter of fact, no or very little emotion, but with Chris, the water works are flowing heavily. Come on, I guess the water works and sob stories really work on guys…..talk about manipulative. Who would say that their story of her husband dying as amazing? I am sorry….but that is a whole new level of crazy. Then they kissed and she goes on and on about her story and how amazing and wonderful it is. How gullible does she think people are?? Oh my word………Cray Cray unleashed for sure!!

The women arrive at the La Fonda Hotel for the rose ceremony and cocktail party. Again, we are getting an ITM from Ashley and how emotional the week had been for her. All the women are waiting for Chris to arrive for the cocktail party…. When Chris does arrive, he makes his customary speech but before he is able to finish it, he gets emotional himself and has to excuse himself before carrying on. Harrison heads out to see Chris to make sure he’s doing fine. Back in the room, Kelsey admits to the women that she told Chris about her husband’s death. Looking around the room, it’s obvious that a lot of the women are really doubting what Kelsey is saying. Kelsey is really looking bad at this point….almost manipulative too. What the heck is that all about….Britt and Kelsey talking about how great her pumps look….really?? There seems to be such a disconnect this season with some of the women and the situation that they are in.

Harrison comes back into the room and tells the women that the cocktail party is now cancelled and we are going straight to the rose ceremony. Chris leaves the room and it’s obvious how taken aback the women are. Kelsey immediately begins to doubt her standing in the group and it really begins to affect her as she heads out of the room and goes to the bathroom. Almost immediately we get a panicked Kelsey on the floor of the hotel stating she’s having a panic attack….what do you all think? Truth, fiction, a good “story” in the making? Tell us your thoughts!!

The Bachelor Epi 4 – Camping, Dancing, and Mudracing Ensues

Well, after last week when the kissing was starting to get out of control, I thought that would be it....well....not so much. This week we advanced to tops and bottoms coming off at the lake. Once again, and hopefully for the last time, the poor editing crew were working overtime in trying to cover up bits and pieces that shall we say, just aren’t kid friendly.

Chris Harrison arrives at the house and tells the women that normally Chris decides what dates the women will go on, but this week will be a bit different. There are others joining the cast this time around in the form of Chris’s sisters who will have a say in who gets the individual date as there will be two group dates and one individual one.   As always, before Harrison leaves, he drops the date card on the table and this time, it is Britt who swoops in to nab it. Megan, Kaitlyn, Ashley S, Ashley I, Juelia, Samantha, Mackenzie, and Kelsey. Let’s do what feels natural...Chris.

The girls and Chris take off in a couple of vintage convertables on a road trip to Lake Piru. When they finally arrive, they see lounge chairs, blankets and floatables waiting for them to use during their day. As the women get “comfortable”, the bathing suit tops(Ashley I) and bottoms(Kaitlyn) begin to fly off. Let me just say, didn’t think Chris was minding much at this point.

Back at the mansion, Chris’s three sisters arrive to meet with the remaining 7 women. Jackie, Chris's youngest is currently living in Ireland and came over especially for it, then the other two; Lori and Lisa who do live in the states. As the women take their turns with the sisters, they begin to find out more about the women. The first one on the hotseat is Whit. The next one up is Britt, followed by Becca, Nikki, Jillian, Jade, and finally Carly. From what I saw, I’d say that Carly, Whit and Jade seem to be interesting the sisters the most.   The sisters came back to say goodbye to the women as they head out to deliberate who will get the individual date.

Back at the lake, we get a glimpse of what they are doing on their date and Chris informs them that they will be camping and spending the night there. We all of a sudden hear from Kelsey. She was getting to be a really debby downer on this date as she hates just about EVERYTHING that they are doing at the lake. Chris and the ladies head to their camping spot and all begin setting up their tents, two to a tent. Kaitlyn and Megan were the first to set up their tent. Mackenzie and Ashley I’s tent took let’s just say it took quite a while to get that tent up.

Back at the mansion, the next date card arrives and Whitney is the one to read it out. Jade – Your presence is requested at a royal ball tomorrow evening from eight pm till the last stroke of midnight. It’s a secret, the prince doesn’t know you are coming. Sincerely Lisa, Lori and Jackie. This of course sets Jade off as she is so looking forward to it and is a little overwhelmed, meanwhile, the rest of the women are obviously disappointed.

At the lake, they are grilling sis kabobs and roasting hotdogs over the fire. After they eat, Chris takes Kaitlyn aside for a chat. As they talk, Kait asks in his world, what makes him feel that someone likes him. Chris was saying that the odd backrub works, but seriously as he gets older, he’s realized that he’s the more touchy feely type and with her, if gifts are bought for her, that doesn’t impress her nearly as much as someone giving her a kind word, etc. That’s what makes her day. The next one to get alone time is Kelsey.

I keep trying to figure out who she reminds me of when it comes to the past contestants and tonight I finally got it. She has the Trish from Season 5 Jesse Palmer season’s vibe, looks and laughter. One thing for sure, she’s not as “easy” or “worldly” as Trish was, but there are a lot of similarities for sure.

I digress, back to the current show: While Kelsey and Chris were having their time, the group was passing around the tequila, Whiskey and smores....of course it doesn’t take long and Ashley S is HAMMERED once again. Mackenzie brings out the aliens talk once again then to top it off, Chris comes back to the group with an axe in hand and a mask, hollering and screaming.....think he scared the crap out of everyone. The next one to get some alone time with Chris was Ashley S. Chris tries to talk and immediately Ashley tries to plant two quick kisses on him. When he finally escapes from her, Ashley I takes him aside....oh poor Chris. They have a chance to share a few kisses with her before finally making his way back to the group as it is rose time again. He asks Kaitlyn to accept the rose which about makes Ashley I’s head spin so fast it may just pop off. Kaitlyn readily accepts and this really isn’t putting Ashley I off at all....she’s going to make sure she gets some alone time with him tonight, even if that means that he has to wake the poor guy up from a dead sleep.

The next day, all the women are back at the house when the topic of the individual date and date card comes up. When Jillian describes the date card and date that Jade will be having, we begin to get a chorus of ITM’s from Ashley I about how she is described as a princess and believes in fairy tales and so on and so forth....to be honest by this time, my ears are getting to feel burned by her voice and I just can’t listen to another word. Well, right about that time, 3 strangers enter the house, one with a pink wig or at least pink hair screaming out Jades name. Oh lordy, just when we got Ashley to be quiet, now this...come on already. And yep, Ashley is back too....good grief!

Jade begins trying on dresses and the last one she tried on was a blue dress with variety of shades of blue. She is told that if she likes the shoes, she gets to keep them and the earrings that she had on for the night. Once again we continually get this annoying I-I-I play-by play from Ashley. Enough already....but something tells me that my ears are going to get burnt a little more by the end of Jade’s date.

After Jade appears, we get a shot of Chris beaming from ear to ear as Jade comes down the stairs and joins him. They sit down for a candlelight dinner and conversation. They have a chance to chat about both of their engagements and what they now want.

Meanwhile back at the mansion, we get some more crap from Ashley....she’s flipping out about how she brought a gown to wear on a princess date and promises teh women that she will get that date.....oh boy. The last thing we see is her sitting on the couch in her gown eating a cob of corn....Move over Ashley S, here comes another Ashley to join you........holy moly!

When we re-join Chris and Jade, Chris has the rose in his hand and asks Jade if she’d accept it to which of course she answers yes. Afterwards, they climb the stairs towards the ballroom where the orchestra is waiting for them. While they dance, the orchestra plays and the new movie Cinderella is playing on the screen. Just as the clock starts ringing midnight, Jade heads down the stairs and the Cinderella date is over.

The next day was the last remaining group date for the week. When the date card arrives, it is Carley that reads it out: Nikki, Jillian, Whitney, Carly, Britt and Becca....Let’s get dirty. Chris.   Carly informs the women that there is other stuff outside waiting for them....six boxes with their names on them and inside are wedding dresses. After they get ready, a limo arrives to pick them up and they head to the airport where a private jet is waiting for them. Flying off from LA, they land in San Francisco where Chris is waiting for them.

When they arrive at the obstacle course, the women are informed of what they’d be doing. Looking at their faces, you can see the fake smiles and the minds reeling as to how they are going to do that in a stupid dress. The host was saying that this was a muckfest for MS and proceeds from the course goes to the charity. LOL. Lining up, they were doing a mark, set, go as they began smearing their faces with mud, hiking up their dresses and cinching up their tops. It was hilarious as they run through the course and the balls hit them in the face. It was obvious that Jillian was going to win the course and as it went on, we could see Chris hanging back to help the other women with their dresses. Becca took her opportunity for a little one on one as they went around the course and Chris helped her through the obstacles with the long dresses that they were wearing. So at the end, Chris picks Jillian up and carries her away as the other five were having “cold” showers, I am sure as they tried to clean the layers of mud off before flying back to LA on their own.

The next time we see Chris, he and Jillian are at the Fairmont hotel where they are enjoying their dinner on the outdoor patio. Chris has a chance to get a few words in edgewise, but that didn’t last long as Jillian took over and the conversation switched to a one way street and it was clear that Chris was losing interest really quickly. Needless to say, the rest of the night didn’t go well for them and it ended actually pretty quickly. As Chris said in an ITM, it’s one of the most romantic locations that he’s ever been but yet, the romance that he was feeling between them just didn’t equal the place that they were at. The more that Chris tried to let her down easily, she just wasn’t going to give up. Then the tears started. Personally, I am glad that Chris stuck to his guns with this as if he’s not feeling it, why should he keep her on....to me, that doesn’t make sense.

The cocktail party and rose ceremony is up next. Not a whole lot happened during it.....unless you count Ashley taking Chris aside and FINALLY telling him out right that she’s a virgin.....Let me spare you. There was a lot of emotion and tears and more than enough ITM’s about it. To be honest, I have already heard enough from Ashley I tonight. Chris had a chance to take some of the women aside for some alone time beginning with Megan who blindfolded Chris and brought out a plate of fruit and chocolate. Dipping each piece into the chocolate and getting him to guess it. The next one that he took aside was Ashley I....I think I have already been down that path so will now fast forward to the next one was Carly who planted a kiss on Chris. Next was Jade who saw for a couple of seconds before we were whisked away to another Ashley situation. Next was Kaitlyn followed by Juelia and finally Britt. Britt took that opportunity to confront Chris about the women, dates and happenings on them....

Here’s a lesson for those wanting to go on future seasons of the show....DON’T talk to the lead about your fellow competitors when you get alone time with him/her. It’s one thing to mention that there is some stuff happening, but to question why the lead is handing out roses to whom....That’s a classic NO GO! Concentrate on your connection with the lead and it just may turn out that in the end, time wasted on others is just that as you may end up being the final choice in the end anyways. And I am jumping down off my soap box now.....

Kaitlyn and Jade already have roses; joining them are: Whitney, Carly, Megan, Samantha, Mackenzie, Kelsey, Becca, Ashley I, and Britt. This leaves Ashley S, Juelia, and Nikki heading home from the Rose Ceremony.

Next week looks like it will be a doozy....they are in New Mexico for that episode and by the looks of it, they do river rafting down the Rio Grande using the Los Rios River Runners out of Taos, New Mexico. There will also be a Hot Air Balloon date. I looked it up and the timing is right, they could of hit the festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As far as the other date, I just don’t know, but I am sure that drama will abound.

The Bachelor 19 Epi 3 – Back to the Farm

Well, to start off with, tonight’s episode was pretty fun...full of laughs and not a boring minute. Let’s just say that having Jimmy Kimmel on the episode made for some extra laughter and shall we say an un predictability to the episode that was a nice change of pace.

Tonight started with JK arriving at Chris’s place for an early wakeup call. When Chris finally gotten over the rude awakening, things just started rolling from there when JK arrived at the mansion to greet the women with the crack of calling them his sister wives... Before Jimmy leaves, he introduces the “amazing” jar; Whenever someone says the word amazing, they owe the jar a buck. Leaving the date card for them, Jimmy and Chris Harrison head out.

Juelia is the one to read the date card: Dear Kaitlyn, You and Chris are about to join an exclusive club…sweeping views, vaulted ceilings and unlimited hors’dovores await. Chris picks Kaitlyn up and the two of them head off in the limo. They pull up in front of the Costco and of course this takes Chris and Kaitlyn off guard. They get a note from JK regarding the grocery list and what they need to pick up there. The list of all things includes enough ketchup to fill the hottub…really? Oh good grief!! As they wander through Costco getting the items from the list, they come across an orb. Chris puts it over Kaitlyn and begins pushing her down the aisle. He then gets adventurous and climbs in after her. Eventually a couple of kids comes by and they push the orb down the aisle. Before climbing out, they share a few quick pecks. Loading up the limo, they head back to the bunkhouse to get ready for dinner. When all the prep was done, they head outside to chat and wait for JK to arrive….did I mention the smooching fest? Of course they were right in the middle of some kisses when JK arrives and starts joking about the lipstick all over Chris’s face. The guys get the steaks bbq’d while JK has a chance to ask Kaitlyn some serious questions….actually he did get some things answered and it was obvious that it was territory that wasn’t covered already. Sitting down to dinner, the three of them were joking and having a great time.

Meanwhile, back at the mansion, the next date card arrives. Becca is the one to read it out: Britt, Jillian, Becca, Tracy, Mackenzie, Kelsey, Amber, Ashley S, Juelia, Samantha, Nikki and Carly…..Are you ready to meet some real party animals? Best regards….Jimmy.

Back at the bunkhouse, Jimmy brought up the rose as it is time to hand it out. I got to say….poor Chris, he’s trying to make a nice speech to Kaitlyn and Jimmy just wouldn’t stop interrupting…all in fun of course and it was pretty hilarious. In the end, she of course accepted the rose, JK left(or so we thought) and Kaitlyn/Chris enjoyed some hottub moments, just the two of them….that is until we pan it out wide screen and see JK in the opposite side of the hottub munching down on some left over chicken wings. All in all, one of the more comedic dates in recent seasons…maybe JK will have a repeat performance in future seasons??

Next up was the group date…Once again JK was on for the ride. He literally has taken over Harrison’s role for this date as he explained to the girls what they’d have to do. First they have to shuck 15 ears of corn, then get an egg from the pen, then crack it in a fry pan without breaking the yolk, then milk a goat till the red line and drink it, then shovel manure to fill the wheelbarrow. Finally they got to go to the pigpen and wrestle the greased pig. Jillian led for quite a bit of the race, but Carly snuck in there and beat her out in the end. The night portion of the date found Chris and the women around a rooftop pool. Carly was the first one to get some alone time and a few kisses. Amber was the next one to get some alone time and kisses of course, followed by Jillian who also scored a kiss. The next one to get alone time was Mackenzie who was asking some hard questions as to why Chris was kissing everyone. Something tells me that she thought she would be getting the exclusive rights to kiss him? Becca was the next one to get some alone time. They went to a more hidden/secretive area and for once, he had no kissing action….maybe that is the new way to get his attention as they actually engaged in great conversation.

Back at the mansion, the next date card arrives. Dear Whitney, Today is going to be fun…no whining XO Jimmy. Whitney is obviously moved that she was able to get a date.

Chris and Becca came back to the group and it is rose time. Carly and Amber both were so certain that they would get the rose but it went to Becca. Carly was totally hurt as since she won the competition and thought they had the connection of the date.

Up next, Chris and Whitney find themselves at a local winery….the Saddle Rock in Malibu. After toasting to the day with their rose’ wine, they actually shared in a lot of conversation without the kissing. They are sitting up on the balcony when Chris spots some activity in the background….Whit was quick to say that it was a wedding and immediately suggested that they crashed the wedding. She was quick to jump at it and they sat there and hatched out a plan together of who they know, etc…. They decide to let them get the ceremony part over so they went to get changed and came back in time crash the reception part. So the cameras stayed back and apparently the producers went in with cell phones and filmed the date there…. As Chris began talking, he stumbled and Whit immediately picked up the ball and ran with it. They actually met and talked with the family of the bride. Chris and Whit even danced next to the bride and groom. The two of them shared some fast dances then to finish off the night, they had a slow dance and shared some great kissing action. Chris’s ITM’s were very complimentary towards Whit. When he asked her to accept the rose and she did, you could visibly see how much he was hoping she would. Something tells me that the Whit/Chris connection would be something to really watch for.

JK came by the mansion again to tell the women that there won’t be a cocktail party but there will be a pool party instead. When Chris arrives, the women are all outside waiting for him. The first one to take Chris aside for some alone time was Juelia. It’s the first time that she’s been able to tell him about her husband and his suicide. I know by looking at the twitter that people were feeling that the pool party and talking about it on national TV wasn’t the right forum….well, for my perspective, I know how suicide affects people, the family left behind, etc… It is a topic that NEEDS to be discussed and on national TV when it can be spoken about by someone that is directly affected is the right time/place for it. Speaking from a perspective of someone that has known someone going through it, it has long term affects that are very hard to talk about and even harder when it is something that is felt that it needs to be pushed under the rug and not talked about in public. Yea, there are support groups for it and that is where a lot of the discussions are held, partly because that is the only place that survivors and family members are made to feel is the only place for them and partly because others don’t want to hear about it. IMO, more needs to be made of this and discussed in public so the awareness of all of it’s affects can be better known.

When Chris and Juelia were finished talking, the regular kissing, chatting, fun time of a pool party continued with Britt taking her chance to talk to Chris, and yes of course…lots of kissing was involved. Jade was the next one to get some time with Chris. She got Chris to show her his pad. They were discussing things inside, but it quickly turned into a makeout session on his bed. Meanwhile, Jillian waited for him out in his hottub. Oh geez. Guess until we are put into that situation, it’s really hard to know how little time these women actually get with Chris. Ashley I, Megan and Mackenzie found Chris and Jillian in the hottub. They went to join them there…. Jillian had to of gotten the stink eye by the other three that joined them but she wasn’t going to give up her grip on him…literally. Back at the house, Chris went in to find Ashley…she immediately ledhim upstairs where they shared some kissing time on the balcony. Harrison eventually shows up to drag Chris away from the women as it’s time to get ready for the rose ceremony.

As everyone was lined up for the ceremony, Chris comes in and gives his traditional speech before handing out the roses. Joining Kaitlyn, Becca and Whitney, he hands out the rest of the roses to Jade, Samantha, juelia, Mackenie, Kelsey, Britt, Megan, Carly, Ashley S, Nikki, Jillian and Ashley I. This meant that Amber, Tracy and Trina are heading home this week.

The Bachelor Epi 2: The Kissing Bandit Returns and Cray Cray Takes Hold

Hey everyone, we are back for season two and finally the first dates of the season. There seems to be a few different things happening this season. Chris Harrison is playing more of a part of the season than he has in recent ones. Great to see him again!

We start off with Kimberley coming back into the house and asking to spend some more time with Chris. He brought her back into the house for a second chance....hey, is that the theme for this season....the season of “second chances”??

Chris and Harrison enjoy a cup of coffee and re-hash what happened the night before. Harrison then heads up to the ladies mansion to have a chat with the girls before the dates begin. Harrison leaves the first date card with the women before getting the heck out of dodge.

Jillian is the first person to jump up to read the card....Jade, Tandra, Ashley I, Mackenzie, Kimberley and Tara...Show me your country...Chris. The women arrive in downtown LA for a rooftop pool party. Chris and the girls have a chance to rough-house in the pool for a while before he begins taking the women aside for a chat. Kimberley is the first one to get a chance to speak to Chris. They re-enact their non-meeting at the premiere but instead, this time they actually pretend that it is their first meeting....hmmm, kind of weird, kind of cute at the same time.

Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Jillian and Megan decide to take a wander down to the bunkhouse to check out where Chris is staying....As they get to the gate, we get a butt shot of Jillian where it’s blacked out....do we say she’s got a really skimpy bathing suit on?? Jillian finds Chris’s bike inside and pretends to take it for a ride. Meanwhile, Megan finds the helmet and tries it on. Something tells me that she’s had a few to drink already as she begins to knock her head into the brick wall, wood wall, and finally the refrigerator as she’s “just checking the helmet out to make sure it’s safe”. Oh boy.

Back downtown, Chris and the women are walking in their bikini’s downtown LA. He’s leading them to a street a few blocks away when they round a corner and find tractors waiting for them. Chris informs the women that there will be a tractor race in the streets of LA. Ready, set, go....and with a horn blast, the tractors head off....slow as snails as Chris explains...lol. Tandra had the quickest tractor for a while, but then Ashley I’s tractor picked up speed and won the race. Ashley and Chris head off for some alone time while sitting on the tractor.

Back at the mansion, the women are sitting around waiting for the next date card to arrive, when Juelia has a chance to tell some of the women her back story. Apparently her husband committed suicide shortly after her daughter was born.

Meanwhile, Chris and Ashley are sitting on the tractor talking while the other women are sitting on bales of hay while they wait for them. When Chris and Ashley return to the women, Chris tells them that he will continue the date with one of the women. He chooses Mackenzie. The other women head back to the limo and back to the mansion. Chris and Mackenzie head off to the Escondite for a few drinks and conversation. IMO, their conversation didn’t really start off too well, talking about big noses and facial features then the talk changes to aliens. Oh brother.

At the mansion, Ashley I and Whitney begin chatting about waiting up for Mackenzie and who Mackenzie is.

At the bar, Mackenzie tells Chris about her son Kale/Cale(sorry Mackenzie, don’t know the spelling). As they chat, you can see Chris being interested in him. Then as she shows Chris a picture of the boy, I think that Chris seemed really interested. When it was rose time, Chris genuinely seemed to want to give her a rose. They finished off the night by having a dance and a kiss.

The date card arrives at the mansion and it is Ashley I that finds it and reads it out. Megan.....Love is a Natural wonder...Chris. Watching Megan’s reaction....totally being confused, I am trying to figure out if she was drunk or if she’s just naturally that way....a little ditsy?

The next day, the women are waiting around for Chris to arrive for Megan’s date when they begin talking about Megan’s date the night before. Mackenzie tells the women how many times Chris kissed her the night before. You can tell there are some cringe worthy moments there for the rest of the women...felt sorry at that moment.

Chris arrives at the mansion to pick up Megan. They take the limo to the airport where they board a private jet and fly to Vegas. After touching down there, Chris walks her out to the heli where they take off for a trip over the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Flying down through the canyon, they have a chance to see different areas of the canyon than you ever could by driving there. Touching down, the two head down to the river bank to enjoy a picnic. While they are sitting there chatting, you can hear either traffic or a boat motor in the background. Megan tells Chris that she was wanted to go on the show, but three days later after the call, her dad was taken to the hospital and passed away. Sitting on the banks of the Colorado River that flows through the Grand Canyon, Chris asks Megan to accept the rose before they share a few kisses.

Back at the mansion, the next date card arrives: Kelsey, Trina, Alissa, Tracy, Jillian, Becca, Amber, Ashley S, Juelia, Kaitlyn and Britt....Till Death do us Part....Chris. The women arrive at their date location. There are shapes and things running by the windows of the car and everyone inside are freaking out. Because, we the viewers know that the producers wouldn’t put the girls in danger....it was actually funny how the women were reacting. They were freaking out, trying to climb over the others to get to the far side of the car, etc. Remember the title of the blog is that the cray cray returns....well, Ashley S is on this date. Need I really go on about it??    Chris leads the women into battle against the zombies with their paintball guns in hand. When the zombies were killed and the beacon was turned off, they sat down for a post-zombie killing party.

Back at the mansion, a few of the women are going face masks and chatting up a storm. Is it just me or are there more drunks this season than normal? We have weird/drunk Ashley S, weird/drunk Megan, then drunk Jordan, drunk Tara. Holy moly....the ones this season really have gotten their drunk on for sure.

Kaitlyn is the first one to get some alone time with Chris. They had a chat about her being in Germany for a while and realized that in her relationship she was having there, Germany wasn’t for her forever. Before they ended their chat, they shared a few kisses. The next one to get some alone time was Ashley S. Chris tried to be the gentleman by escorting Ashley for a walk. Then right in the middle of her doing an ITM, she makes her way out to him and talk about acting cray cray. Is it a drinking thing or is she actually that way all by herself?? During their chat, Chris gives her a note that says....free kiss from Chris. She quickly took him up on it. At the end of the night, they all gather together where Chris hands out the rose. It is Kaitlyn that gets the group date rose.

When Chris arrives for the cocktail party, once again, he gets inundated with the women. First up to have alone time is Whitney. She has a nice setup outside where she presents him with a bottle of whiskey which is his favorite one. She also states that she drinks that one too. The next one up to get some alone time is Ashley I. She starts off with telling Chris that she has a belly button piercing and in it, she has a magic lamp. With that, he is told that he has three wishes and the first one is tonight. The only stipulation is that he has to rub the magic lamp. Give me a break….Sorry, but this is getting a bit much. He tells her that on the tractor date, he was almost wanting to kiss her then, but it would have been so awkward with how they were sitting. Like I said, this is getting cornier and cornier…pardon the pun. When he finishes rubbing the lamp, they have a makeout session which of course gets the others looking in on it. When he can finally pull himself away from Ashley, he slides on over to Amber and they too have a make out session outside. Gee Whilakers, what the heck is going on this season?? Chris is outside talking to Juelia when Jordan bombards them. Poor Chris, he’s trying to make sense of Jordan in her current drunk state. Thankfully that was the last one of the night as Harrison enters the room and puts a swift end to it with his champagne glass clinking….

Chris has his foyer chat with Harrison before entering the room and giving out the rest of the roses. Joining Mackenzie, Megan and Kaitlyn, Chris hands out roses to: Britt, Ashley I, Trina, Kelsey, Samantha, Juelia, Amber, Tracy, Jillian, Jade, Nikki, Becca, Carly, Whitney, and Ashley S. This leaves Tandra, Jordan, Tara, Kimberley, and Alissa heading home. And before you ask, this time there were no comebacks.

The Bachelor 19 – Chris Soules

Well, it’s that time of the year again when a new season of The Bachelor begins. This time it was to a three hour gala complete with a red carpet entrance to boot. Many alumns from the past seasons were there including Sean/Catherine, Andi/Josh, Nikki, and others still single including Claire, Michelle Money and a few others.

Harrison briefly tells us what we are in for tonight but it is Chris that we are introduced to right off the bat. We are told more about Chris than we even saw last season, see him being trained by Cody, and in the end, we see Chris heading off to Cali for the start of his season.

Before Chris meets his women, Harrison talks with Sean/Catherine and Marcus/Lacey before we get to know some of the women a bit more in their preview videos such as Britt, Jillian, Amanda, Whitney, Mackenzie, Alissa, and Kelsey. We are then brought back to the red carpet where Harrison has a chat with Andi/Josh and Nikki(was asked some tough questions) before we finally begin with the season.

Chris arrives in LA, we see him getting fit for the wardrobe for the season, and we find out that he is staying in the re-furbished “bunkhouse” next to the mansion. We are treated to the usual shower scene where he is using the outdoor shower(Yep, it’s still there), getting ready and walking up to the mansion in time for the first limo to arrive. The avalanche of arriving limos begin....oh hold up there, we only get three arriving for a total of fifteen women so far. Following the women inside, Chris begins his search for love as he takes some of the women aside for a chat. Interspersed through all of it, we get glimpses of Harrison and the live audience. From Britt’s “permission slip” for a free hug, to Reegan’s heart in the donor box, and Tara’s “daisy duke” get up, and one secret admirer in the form of Amanda, all in all there were minimal pranks/gags in the first 15 girls. The next 15, well, that’s for later.

Chris heads inside and begins taking the women aside to get to know them better....He had a chance to talk to Britt, Reegan, Kelsey and Whitney before Harrison entered the house and told Chris he needs to talk to him. ANND yep, you guessed it, 15 more coming in the door now....

It seemed with each progressing arrival in the next 15, the pranks and gags got a little more steeper, little more involved and yes, a little sillier with each one. By the time all was said and done, even Chris was looking overwhelmed by the time he went inside to toast to the new arrivals.

Taking more time with the new arrivals, Chris had a chance to talk to most of them before finally handing out the first impression rose to Britt with whom he was able to share a few kisses before heading back inside to join the rest of the women. A little while later Harrison comes in to retrieve Chris and inform the ladies that it is rose ceremony time.

Joining Britt, Kaitlyn, Jade, Samantha, Ashley I, Tandra, Nikki, Kelsey, Megan, Alissa, Amber, Juilea, Becca, Trina, Mackenzie, Tracy, Tara, Jordan, Jillian, Whitney, Carly, and Ashley S. all received roses tonight and were asked to carry on with Chris`s journey.

If you think that’s the end for tonight…..not so fast!! Kimberley, one of the rejected ladies decides that she needs to talk to Chris and heads back inside to talk to him as he is in the middle of congratulating the ones that he has given a rose to. And that’s where we are left to hang….
