THE BACHELOR SEASON 17:
Bachelor 17: Finale
All I have to say to start this off is WOW! What an incredible end to a reality love
story that in essence is now just beginning.
Also, the poise and maturity that Lindsay showed during the finale and
in the After the Final Rose was wellllll beyond her twenty-four years!
Let’s back track to Chiang Rai, Thailand to begin. Sean and the women moved to Chiang Rai to
begin their final phase of their journey.
Sean meets up with his mom; Sherry, dad; Jay, sister; Shae,
Brother-in-law; Andrew, niece – Kensington and nephew – Smith.
First up to meet Sean’s family was Catherine. You could tell she was nervous going into it
but definitely made a great impression on the family. When she sat down with Sherry, we were given
a little more insight into Sean and Catherine’s relationship when she revealed
that he too wrote notes back to her.
That is something that we didn’t see during the season but since there
was very little shown of the two of them before their date in Canada, it was
really nice to hear of the little things that did happen. Their time went well and when they parted,
they gave each other a nice hug. When
Catherine sat down with Jay it was obviously a different connection that really
hit home with her. Jay said that when
she is a part of the family, she will have him on her side and be the greatest
cheerleader that she’ll have.
Considering Catherine’s past with regards to her real father, this
seemed to really strike a cord with her.
Before leaving, they all have a chance to say their goodbyes.
The next day is time for Lindsay to meet up with Sean’s
loving family. Again, their time
together seemed to flow so well and natural.
Hard to know if there will be a decision made for Sean out of those two
meetings. Jay had a time to sit down
with Lindsay as well. Sherry too had a chance to sit down with Lindsay and
again, they all got along. It was going
to be really hard to know who Sean would choose just from the family meetings.
When Sean went back in to talk with his family, it was
obvious that he won’t be given a clear winner in the meetings. One thing that did happen though is that
Sherry took Sean out for a private talk away from the rest of the family and
when the pressure seemed too much, Sherry kind of broke down a bit as she’s
afraid that if he proposes too early without being absolutely sure of what kind
of a relationship he has with the chosen one, he may get hurt. To me, I took it as a mother’s love that is
afraid that her son may get hurt.
I will say how inspirational it would be to become a part
of that family with how personal they all are and how sweet and endearing it
would be to be a part of that.
The first last chance date(LCD) is with Lindsay. He takes her down to a local river where they
board a river raft for a float down the Mekong River. It was a very slow and relaxing float down
where they had a chance to talk about the family date where Sean tells Lindsay
that his parents really loved her.
During their date, she did tell Sean that she loved him, wanted her life
to be spent with him and just wanted this to be over so she can get on with
things. During the evening portion, they
had a chance to sit down with some wine, then they went outside and as in
Thailand customs, they lit candles in lanterns and if you let them go, your
wishes will come true. They did three in
total, one was family, another happiness, and a third being love.
Sean and Catherine’s LCD was really neat. They rode an elephant out of the elephant
camp and down a trail along the river.
The views are awesome! They
finished off their daytime portion laying on a lookout bench overlooking the
river below. For the night-time portion,
they met up at Catherine’s place where they had a chance to discuss the future
more. Catherine admits to Sean how
difficult it is for her to open up and express how emotional she is right now,
but she also admits that she can’t see this ending any other way than a
proposal from him. Before he leaves,
they share a hug and some sweet kisses at the door where she finally tells him
that she loves him. After he leaves, she
follows him as it is obvious that the emotional drain is getting to her and she
really is getting worried/scared that it won’t end with them together.
The next day, Neil Lane arrives and Sean has a chance to
pick out the ring he wants to give. You
can see the emotion written all over his face and when he picks the one he
really wants. When he was finished
looking at all the rings, he chooses the cushion cut one that is absolutely
gorgeous.
After getting dressed, the emotion of the day overwhelms
him and he does break down a bit knowing that in one instance, he is about to
break someone’s heart and in the other, he will walk away with the woman of his
dreams.
When Lindsay arrives at the final rose ceremony location,
she looks beautiful in her silver colored dress as she gets out of the car and
Chris is there to meet her. Meeting up
with Sean, it doesn’t take long before it looks like she realizes that she isn’t
the final one as he is so hesitant to tell her that she just isn’t it. When Sean walks her out, she stops, takes off
her heels and quickly starts up the path again.
Loved it that she did that. I
will say though, she handled the rejection with such class, poise and maturity
that goes well beyond her years.
When Lindsay left, Chris arrives and hands Sean a letter
from Catherine. Opening it, we hear both
of them reading out the letter aloud at the same time(very cool effect
here). It is obvious in hearing what is
in the letter the depth that Catherine does love Sean and can’t wait for their
life together to get started. Catherine
finally shows up in her gold dress looking absolutely stunning. As she continues to walk up the trail, Chris
meets up with her and again guides her down the path to meet Sean. When Sean begins to talk to her and tell her
that he loves her, you can see the electricity between them just as we were
shown during their fantasy date with the lightening going off in the background. When Sean does get down on his knee and pull
out the ring, Catherine’s face shows all the emotion that she’s been holding
back for so long. It was truly an
amazing proposal. With the sun setting,
they board an elephant to ride off into the sunset.
During the live After the Final Rose; Lindsay was up
first as she wanted to get a few answers, mainly when exactly did Sean know
that he wanted Catherine and not her to which Sean stated that it was during
their last date together. Then Catherine
came out and sat with Sean on the stage.
You can still see the love between them and not only that, but they
announced that they will be getting married as soon as the arrangements can be
made through ABC as they will be doing a televised marriage. Then in the last part of the ATFR, they
announced that Desiree Hartstock from Sean’s season will be the next
Bachelorette which begins airing May 20, 2013.
We at the Rose would like to congratulate Sean and
Catherine on their journey to find love and wish all the best for you two on
your future.

Bachelor 17; Women Tell All
As many in the “Bachelor Nation” know, the Women Tell All
was seen last night. Women of Bachelor
season 17 including Ashley P(better known as the 50 shades lady), Diana,
Brooke, Daniella, Jackie, Kacie, Leslie, Kristy, Taryn, Katie, Amanda, Selma,
Robyn, Sarah, Desiree, Lesley M and Ash Lee F.
All the ladies had some stuff to say but no one more than Ash
Lee....More on that later.
First thing they accomplished was the “elephant” in the
room...yup, you got it right....TIERRA and her sparkle came back. During the “rewind” clip showing more of
Tierra’s antics, the women were free to dish on their time in the house with
Tierra and the “sparkle” that she left with all of them.
They even dissed on how fake she was during her fall down
the stairs and her polar bear plunge in Canada. During her time in the “hot seat” Tierra
dished on how mean the other women were to her, how they maintained a bully
type attitude throughout the season. Tierra dished, When she was done, the women had a chance to have their
say
They tried to get her to admit to being mean to them through
the season, not to mention how she says that she was never un-friendly to the
rest of the women in the house. Even
through all of her verbal merry-go-rounds, it was evident that any apology that
she would give the women was completely unfelt and definitely not accepted by
any of the women as they could see through her verbal crap once again. Close to the end of Tierra’s time on stage,
Chris brought up the ring on her finger.
Tierra immediately tries to act coy about it, but Harrison finally got out
the engagement date with it being in January.
Wonder if this has something to do with her contract; she can’t be seen
dating others or engaged till her time on the show was done and correct me if I
am wrong, but that wasn’t until February sometime....right??
The next one into the hot seat was Sarah. I got to say, her session was really
good. Sarah learned a lot about herself
throughout this experience. The main
stickler for herself is that whenever she has been rejected she uses the old
fallback of blaming the status of only having one arm....Seeing how her
personality is, I really don’t think that was the case and it was more likely a
case of personalities that just didn’t mesh.
Desiree took her turn talking to Chris; Mostly about her
hometown date, but they also talked about how she honestly thought she was at
that time falling in love with Sean. The
one main thing that she wanted to straighten out about the hometown date is the
fact that her brother has regrets about it as even she admits that what we saw
isn’t really her brother. Meaning, that
isn’t how her brother normally acts.
Okay. When asked, she too has
learned a lot more about herself; she now knows that she needs to be a lot more
open and also needs to not let herself sabotage any other relationships as she
tends to let her thoughts about the relationship get in the way of the actual
relationship. Now if you all can let me
know what that means, I’d be grateful!
And finally Ash Lee.
At first, she sits down in the hotseat to talk to Harrison. She had a lot to say.
Even so far as saying that Sean told her that she would
be meeting his family and that his sister and Ash Lee would get along
great. She honestly fell in love with
him and believed Sean to be a “southern Gentleman” even though after watching
the season she saw that he was definitely somewhat of a “frat-boy” with the
other women. When she finally had Sean
up in the “hotseat” she was able to confront him:
One thing that AshLee had a hang up on and she kinda
alluded to it while talking to Chris, but she really wanted to know why Sean
didn’t come to make sure she was okay after he let her go at the F3 rose
ceremony in Thailand considering he was the “southern gentleman” that she
thought he was.
With regards to what he said to her in the fantasy suite:
she claims that he told her that he felt nothing at all with the other women(he
flat out denied that he said anything of the sort). Now that combined with the statements of how
he says that she will be meeting his family she honestly thought she had this
whole thing in the bag.
Bachelor 17; Fantasy Dates Come at a Price
Tonight, Sean and his final three of Lindsay, AshLee and
Catherine embark on their journey in Thailand and the most time that any of
them will of had up until now with Sean at one time. All three are trying to figure out where
their hearts lie and only Sean knows how he feels about all three of them. This episode starts off in Si Kao, Thailand
at the resort of Anantara where Sean is arriving and contemplating the upcoming
dates with all of the women.
The first one to start with is Lindsay. According to Sean, their hometown date was
the most successful of all of them and now he’s really just trying to figure
out if she can be his wife.
They are both at the Si Kao Anantara Resort and spa where
they meet up and make their way to the village where they walk through the Si
Kao Market exploring the customs, food and goods that are for sale. They try different drinks, fruit,
and...........BUGS!! Sean says that he
is wanting to find someone that is adventurous and will try anything. Well, on their way to the market, Lindsay
says that she is adventurous but won’t eat any bugs. Guess he is going to put that to the
test. After begrudgingly eating a small
bug followed by an even bigger grasshopper, they took their “adventure” to new
levels as they even chewed on a chicken foot.
OKAY, enough........ They
continued through the market and found a pair of shorts for Sean to wear before
they continued onto the beach where they eventually laid out a blanket and had
a chat. They talked about her hometown
date, what they thought life would be after the show and how Lindsay’s parents
feel she is ready to settle down as well.
After leaving the beach beside the market, they went to the Yong Ling
Beach or Monkey Beach where they were able to hand feed some monkeys before
going into the ocean and watching the sunset.
For the dinner portion of their date, they went to a
grassy area for a “picnic” style
dinner where there were traditional floats behind them and flowers made out of
petals that adorned the grass around the picnic area. The one thing that I have noticed with Sean
maybe more than any other Bachelor in a long time is that he is trying to live
in the moment with each of the women.
Tonight, he asked Lindsay whether she would be ready and willing to move
to Dallas. Just as they were in the
middle of a serious conversation, traditional Thailand dancers and music
appeared out of nowhere which of course stopped any serious conversation that
they were or were about to have. When
the dancers left, Sean produced the Fantasy Suite card and the two of them made
their way to the room. Upon entering,
there were candles everywhere and champagne waiting for them. Sitting down they got into some small chat
before Lindsay finally plucked up the courage that she had been trying to find
all day and told him that she actually DOES love him. The night ended as they were standing there
in a warm embrace looking out.
On AshLee’s date, the same ole same ole question is still
there; Is she willing and ready to let go of control and let happen what will. Only then, will she learn that she can lean
on him as he wants someone to do.
Sean is waiting for AshLee on the Pakmeng Pier in
Thailand. After their greeting, they
board a boat that takes them out among the many small islands that dot the
coastline of Thailand towards their own private beach for the day. The only problem is.....they have to go
through a cave to get there. Now the
main reason for doing this is for Sean to see if AshLee is willing to let go of
her need to control situations. He wants
a wife that can trust him and know that he can get them out of sticky
situations. You can see the apprehension
all over AshLee’s face as they begin their swim into the cave. As they get deeper and deeper into the
darkness, AshLee seems to get panicky at the prospect of her not knowing where
they are going and what they will encounter in this cave. When they finally come out of the cave, they
find themselves on a beach all alone and share some warm embraces and
kisses.
For the night portion of their date, they walk along a
lantern lit beach to where their dinner awaits.
Sitting down they share a dinner before delving into some serious
conversation including the “M” word and what that means to each of them. Sean presents her with the “fantasy suite”
card and before she answers, he makes it clear that he just wants the extra
time to talk without all the distractions as they need that extra time. As they enter their suite, there are candles
everywhere and a bottle of champagne waiting for them. Sitting down on the couch, they begin to
share the steps of their relationship so far.
Let’s just say that AshLee isn’t shy about dropping hints as she
proceeds to tell Sean what she would like in an engagement ring and the size
before they share some sweet kisses and their night ends.
With Catherine, he still has a few questions to answer;
one of which is whether she REALLY is ready to settle down.
Sean and Catherine’s date begins on Ao Nang Beach in
Thailand as Sean stands on the beach itself and is waiting for Catherine to
arrive. When she does, she goes running
up to meet him and after sharing a few kisses and a hug, Sean tells her that
they will be going out to the Junk Boat that is anchored in the bay and touring
around the islands. They both remark how
much they have missed one another and Sean does state that after her hometown
date, he has wondered if they are really a match for one another and if she is
really ready to settle down. Sitting on
the boat together, they got into some serious conversation about her hometown
date and how she feels it went. She
admits to feeling put on the spot by her sisters and also really upset by them
and their skepticism, yet she also knows where she’s at in her heart and how
much she wants to be with him not to mention that he really gets and seems to
like her goofy-nerdy side. Once they
finished their real serious conversation for a while, they both jumped into the
ocean and went snorkelling for awhile.
Climbing back on the boat we see them kissing in the rain with the
thunder and lightening going off in the background. Talk about a metaphor for them....
The evening portion of their date, they arrive at their
dinner location and seat themselves at a proper table. Sitting down, we get an ITM from Sean stating
how he thourally enjoyed today, snorkelling with her in the ocean and in truth,
he feels that Catherine just “gets” him more than anyone else. When they were finished with their dinner, Catherine
got into the conversation about the fantasy suite and how she really thought
going into this whole process, she just wouldn’t do it because of the stigma
associated with it. Now after getting to
know him, she wants nothing more than just to spend more time with him. On that note, Sean presented her with the
fantasy suite card which she happily accepted.
Arriving at their suite, they find candles everywhere and walking
through, outside there is a private pool waiting that is covered in flower petals. Sitting inside for a while, they talk again
about what they like in one another and when Catherine suggests that she has
never really been in a bathing suit as much as she has around him expressing
again her insecurities, Sean immediately puts her mind at ease by stating that
she looks smoking hot. They get changed
into their swimsuits and make their way into the pool. We leave them after seeing them exchanging
some sweet kisses, warm embraces and sweet nothings under a clear, starry
night.
The next day is the rose ceremony. Sean and Chris have a chance to sit down
together and talk briefly about what will happen today, what decision he’s come
to and how it’s affecting Sean. When
they finished their chat, Chris informs him that all of the women have left
video messages for Sean as Chris leaves to greet the arriving women.
Once all of the women have arrived, Sean comes out to
meet them, make his customary speech and as we can see, makes his excruciating
decision to hand out the final two roses to Lindsay and Catherine. Looking at Sean during the ceremony, it is
obvious that the decision has broken his heart.
Walking AshLee out, it is also just as obvious that she is angry and
upset with Sean’s decision.
Here are some notes that I thought of while watching
these fantasy dates:

and Lindsay....affectionate, sweet, loving

and AshLee.... somewhat affectionate, hesitant, looking for more, not much eye contact
- Sean
and Catherine....fun, bubbly, very affectionate, kissing, hands on, constant
eye contact

back to confront the women. Not to
mention when AshLee and Sean see each other again; Will she then have some
words to say to him? Then in two weeks,
we will finally see who Sean chooses and will hopefully hear in the After The
Final Rose if they are still together and their plans for the future.
The Bachelor 17 Hometown Dates: Good Times and Family Ties
Tonight’s episode ramps up the drama one more octave and
family strength gets tested. Hometown
dates are in Houston, Texas; Seattle, Washington; North Carolina; and Los
Angeles.
Sean’s plane touches down in Houston Texas first and the
first test of family loyalties and strength with Ash Lee and her parents. First of all I will say, what an incredible
family and testament to the strength and love of parents that were not made of
blood but of love. Sean had a chance to
witness their strength first hand after spending some time with Ashley and her
dog after they enjoyed a picnic and a walk through a local park.
They arrived at the Frazier family home where they were
warmly greeted by Ash Lee’s mom and dad.
They were able to sit down, enjoy a meal and got into a lot of talk
about the places that they have seen.
Ash Lee’s mom Deborah took Sean aside for a quick chat about his
feelings towards Ash Lee and of course his intentions in this process. Next up was her dad Bruce. Sean had a hard question to him regarding
AshLee’s earlier marriage at 18, then a follow up question as to whether Bruce
was able to give his blessings for them to get married. When they rejoined the table, Bruce told Sean
the story of the first day he found AshLee and fell in love with her. I will say how great the family seems. Ash Lee and Sean parted after sharing some
long kisses and hugs.
Next up is Catherine and her family in Seattle,
Washington. After they finished with
their greeting and hugs at the Pike Place Market on the waterfront in Seattle,
they climbed aboard a pig statue there where they each made a wish. They even went into the market where they
took part in the fish toss, took goofy pictures of each other in a picture
booth, ate some lunch and wandered around the market and stores in it.
They showed up at Catherine’s family home with a bottle
of wine and some flowers where Catherine introduced him to her mom, gramma, and
sisters. They sat down, had and made
Pilipino rolls with her mom, sat for a while with gramma; but things got tense
when Catherine and her sisters sat down for a chat. Got to say though...I do understand how
families can be skeptical in this process.
Both of her sisters were hesitant to give all their support for this
concept. Then when Sean talked her mom
and asked for her blessing to marry Catherine if that is what he chose to do,
that was slow in coming if it did at all.
The whole meeting didn’t really go as easy or as well as Sean thought it
would. After they shared some sweet
kisses, they parted ways but not before Catherine shared with us her doubts as
to how things went with her family.
Next up is Lindsay’s HTD in Fort Leonard Wood, MO where
Lindsay meets up with Sean. They tour
around the town visiting antique shops, had a pint at the local bar, and
visited the local bake shop for a cupcake where they sat down for a chat and
discussed what Sean should call her dad.
Mr. or General? LOL. Just before they left the bakery, she had one
more job for him to do a she handed him Army workout outfit and put him through
the paces on an obstacle course of sorts.
When they arrived at her family home, they met her dad
Mark, mom Lisa and little brother. When
all the greetings were done, Lisa was the first one to talk to Sean. They seemed to hit it off and have a great
connection. Lisa said in an ITM how she
was impressed with Sean and the fact that Sean wasn’t quick to throw around the
“I love you’s” etc and that impressed her.
When Sean had a chance to sit down with Mark, he asked for his
permission/blessing for them to get engaged which he gave willingly. Before Sean left, Mark gave Sean his own ‘dog
tags’ or ID tags to remember their visit by.
After Lindsay walked Sean out, they shared some sweet kisses and hugs
before he left.
Back in Los Angeles, Sean meets up with Desiree for her
hometown date. They went for a hike up
one of the local hiking trails for the daytime portion of the hometown
date. Arriving at Desiree’s place, they
prepped the meal before her family joins them.
Along the way though, Des had one other plan up her sleeve. She hired an actor to play an ex-boyfriend of
hers as a prank to get back at Sean for him pulling the prank on her their
first date together. Watching it, you
could see that Sean was getting a little hot under the collar at it but when
she finally broke the good news about this being a prank, Sean got it and all
was well. Desiree’s mom Roxanne, father
Tony and brother Nate arrived shortly after things settled down with Nick the
actor that played a part in pranking Sean.
Things seemed fine for a while as Sean had a chance to talk to Tony and
that went well, but things started changing as we were witness to Desiree and
Nate’s talk. Nate seemed to be really
negative right off the bat. Then while
they are sitting down to dinner, Nate asks to talk to Sean outside. Immediately after they sat down, Nate began
to cop an attitude with Sean calling him a playboy, etc. Things went from bad to worse and it looked
like Sean may respond, but instead took it all in until the pair went back into
the house. At the end of the night, Sean
left with a lot of questions and needed time to sort them out. Meanwhile, Desiree went back inside and
confronted Nate as to what happened during their conversation. When he told the group, Des reacted right
away. Even her parents looked quite
appalled at Nate’s thoughts and how he responded to Sean. Yikes, that didn’t go so well. IMO, there is a difference between a family
being skeptical and someone being just plain rude and mean. I think that in his haste, her brother took
it a step too far, but then again, that’s just me. I’d love to hear your opinions on this.
At tonight’s rose ceremony, Sean was in a turmoil more
than ever before. He had a chance to sit
down with Chris before the ceremony to discuss his week and also to tell him
that the only two that he has concerns over are Catherine and Desiree. With Catherine, he’s worried that their lives
may not align as much as he first thought, but with Desiree, it is her brother
and considering how he will always be in the picture and how much her brother
got under Sean’s skin so to speak, is this a good situation?
After making the traditional speeches, Sean went to start
the rose ceremony, but not before Desiree stopped him and asked to take him
outside to talk to him about her date. They
had a chance for a talk but when all was said and done, did it really affect
his decision? Going back inside, Sean
handed out his first rose to Ash Lee, then to Lindsay which left one more to
hand out. Stepping away from the podium
once more, he goes back into his deliberation room where Chris and he have a
chance to talk once more. When he
returns, he hands out the final rose to Catherine.
His tearful goodbye to Desiree was really
heart-wrenching. Hopefully he is still
happy with his decision. Something tells
me that we may learn more of what happened tomorrow night when we are given an
hour long segment on Sean Tells All airing at 9pm. I will be back again next week for another
blog. This time we will be in Thailand
for the Fantasy Dates.
The Bachelor 17: Sun, Sand, Drama and Fireworks
Let’s just start off by saying that tonight goes down as
one for the record books. I can’t ever
remember an episode with this much drama and fireworks in it. In fact, the whole season so far has been about
drama. Quite frankly, I think Sean and
others out there are getting tired of the drama and are looking for more of the
romance. Wonder if we will get some this
season? Yea, yea, I know; there has been
romance so far, but let’s face it, drama has been the name of the game so far.
Tonight’s epi starts with Sean flying into St. Croix with
the women. When they finally arrive, the
women head up to the Buccaneer Resort where the women find their villa waiting
for them. After exploring it, we are
“treated” to an excerpt of the Tierra show as she proceeds to tell us that
she’s had enough of the women and is setting up a cot for herself in a separate
room. The women are outside talking
about the possible dates coming up when the first date card arrives. Desiree is the first one to get the date card
and read it out: AshLee, Let’s get carried away...Sean. If looks could kill; the look that Tierra
gave AshLee when she herself hasn’t even gotten one individual date before
anyone got a second individual date.
Wakeup call Tierra; It isn’t you that gets to decide the dates but it is
Sean so maybe he just doesn’t want you....LOL.
Right after AshLee leaves the room to get ready for her date, Tierra
makes a raunchy quip: “The cougar’s back
in town”. This of course gets her a
round of unpleasant looks from everyone else.
When Sean does arrive to pick AshLee up, they head down
to the beach where he informs her that they will be going out on the catamaran
for their date but have to swim out to it.
Both of them stripped down to their swimsuits and out to the boat they
went, AshLee on Sean’s back for a part of it.
Sean tells her that they are going to a private island and when they get
to it, they jump off the back of the catamaran and swim towards the shore.
Back at the resort, everyone is chairside down at the
beach. Everyone that is except Tierra
the house party pooper she is...LOL. But
that seems to suit the other women just fine as they are talking about Tierra
and how prissy she is acting lately as she took up residence in one of the
rooms on a private cot so she doesn’t have to share a bed/room with the other
women.
AshLee and Sean are now on the beach after their swim and
Sean asks her if the drama has subsided or are they just keeping him in the
dark about it now. AshLee states how
Tierra is being rude, isolating herself from the others, the house against
Tierra situation, how having Tierra long term with him will be a detriment to
his happiness in the long run because of how she can act out in situations. Sean thanks her for being honest and they
continue on with their date.
Back at the hotel, the next date card arrives. Catherine is the first one to get it; Tierra, Let’s explore our love on the streets
of St. Croix...Sean. After the women
surmise that she will be seeing the town of St. Croix, Tierra has the nerve to
complain about what kind of a date she’s going to get by saying that she
assumed that if she’s going to get a one on one date, it would be somewhere
fantastic and on the water. Is there
anything that will make this chick happy?
AshLee and Sean are walking towards their dinner location
right on the beach. Sean asks her that
if he meets her family, is there something that they haven’t covered? She does go into explaining her history and
of how she had a rebellious time in her teens and had an early marriage. After Sean took that really well, AshLee then
stood up and hollered out that she loves him as well. They ended the night on a good note with a
few kisses.
Next is Sean’s and Tierra’s first individual date. As they wander through the streets of St.
Croix they visit the town’s street vendors where Sean makes the token bachelor
buys as they keep wandering through town, they come across this parade. Dancing with the parade patrons, they carry
on down the street.
Back at the hotel, AshLee informs the other women that
she was able to have a chat with Sean about Tierra. How she is miserable, confrontational and
etc. This makes the other women feel
better and as Lesley states in an ITM, she really can’t see how Sean can keep
her after this week knowing what he’s been told about her.
On the main street of St. Croix, Tierra and Sean stop at
a local vendor and pick up a couple of drinks before settling down on the
church steps to talk. When asked about
her time in the house and with the other women, she starts giving him this
babble talk about how the women want to make their own plans and not include
her....this girl really can spin a yard of bullsh^t. When Sean asks if she’d do things differently
she answers no because the other girls won’t be around much
longer...Hello? Overly confident, aren’t
you? Sean and Tierra make their way to
their dinner location at the local sugar mill.
After getting settled, Tierra confronts Sean about how he’s felt
“distant” throughout the day and she asked what it may of been due to since she
felt really close to him at the rose ceremony in Canada. He stated that it probably doesn’t have to do
with one on one time but because the drama between her and the other women in
the house.
Back at the hotel, the next date card arrives. Lindsay is the first one to get it and read
it out. Catherine, Desiree and Lindsay;
Love is on the horizon...Sean. This
means that Lesley gets the last individual date.
Sean and Tierra are sitting on the dock just hanging out
when she tells him that she’s fighting for him, wants this to continue from
today onward and after putting her arms around his neck and yanking him to her,
she whispers that she’s falling in love with him. (where o where is my 1980’s style smiley of
sticking my finger in my mouth and barfing......sheesh! I am sorry, but enough is enough. You just have to look at her to see that she’s
full of it.)
The group date is starting early...Sean arrived at the ladies
room at 4:42am to wake them up with a camera in their face to tell them that
things are starting early. What a
commotion....LOL. The three of them
scramble to get ready and meet Sean out in the parking lot as he is waiting for
them beside a Jeep. They quickly get
things done and head out to meet up with Sean.
After piling into the jeep and driving to the start location of their
date, they are told that they will be the first four people in the United
States to witness the sun rise. After
watching it, Sean informs them that he has a full day planned and they will be
able to watch the sun set from the other side of the island. They begin their road trip by stopping at the
sugar mill, the cafe, the treehouse where they all have a chance to play tarzan. Sean and the girls are snapping pics of their
day the whole way.
Back at the hotel, Lesley’s date card arrives. Tierra is the one to grab it and read it
out. Lesley, I hope our love stands the
test of time...Sean. You can imagine the
look on Tierra’s face as she begrudgingly reads out the card. LOL.
The last stop on the road trip is Sandy Point where they
have a beach area laid out and have a chance for some swimming and games. Lindsay is the first one to get some one on
one time where they talk about how far they’ve come from the first night and
the crazy girl in the wedding dress to where they are now. Catherine is the next one to get some alone
time with Sean. She begins to tell Sean
about her dad. All the time, she’s
talked about her mom, sisters and cousins but hasn’t yet mentioned about her
dad, well, he’s had depression, been abused, and when Catherine was fourteen,
had his first suicide attempt. Near the
end of their time together, dolphins go by in front of them and they have a few
moments to share some sweet kisses.
At the hotel room, Lesley and AshLee are sitting outside
talking when Tierra is inside overhearing what they are saying. You can see her fuming and planning her next
big deception to Sean. LOL.
Back on the beach, it is Desiree’s turn to talk to
Sean. When talking about her family, she
does have a bit of a break down as she really wants Sean to meet her family
because he is so special to her. They
make their way back to the other two women and Sean finally hands out the date
rose to Lindsay. Even though they
couldn’t see the sun as it clouded over during the day, they still had a toast
to it and that ended the date.
The next day, Lesley and Sean begin their last individual
date before HTD’s. After greeting each
other at an old rum factory, they pick some fruit and avacado’s before walking
towards a shaded area where a picnic is set up for them. Sitting down, Sean asks Lesley who would he
be meeting in Arkansas, to which Lesley talks a bit about her family life
before they carry on picking fruit and exploring their picnic site. Before parting, they share a kiss. What I find interesting with this date, there
seems to be some distance between them than before. Maybe that is why there was no night portion
to their date as there usually is the case with epi seven individual dates.
The next day, Shay, Sean’s sister arrives to help Sean
with his final choices of whom he will take to the hometown dates. They take a seat down on the beach to talk
and Sean divulges to her how he can see himself with all six but there is one
that he is questioning still and only because she has been a lightening rod for
drama this season. That of course would
be Tierra. He also tells Shay that
Tierra and AshLee are the only two that have told him that they love him.
Unknown to Sean, back at the hotel room, world war three
is about to break out between Tierra and AshLee as Tierra decides now is the
time to create havoc by confronting AshLee with what has been told to
Sean. (If you want to see the video, you
can view it here: ) Poor Sean walks to the hotel room at the very
end of the argument to grab Tierra to introduce her to Shay but when all is
said and done, he walks into a warzone and a crying uncontrollable Tierra. The whole time Tierra was trying to tell Sean
her story, you can see the batting of her eyebrows, crying etc isn’t working
anymore as she keeps fumbling for more words as she can tell she can’t get Sean
on her side so easily. Call me silly or
wrong for seeing it that way, but body language just doesn’t lie. Sean excuses himself as he heads outside for
some thinking time. He goes back in soon
after and breaks it to Tierra that she will be going home today.
I am not going to go into any great detail on this as I
am sure witnessing it by viewing the video link above will be better than me
talking about it here, but suffice it to say, it was loud. Tierra definitely had a meltdown and
thankfully she is gone. You can also

When all of it was over and done with and Tierra was sent
home, Sean went back to Shay. Sean gives
Shay a brief breakdown of what happened and how he realized that he just didn’t
need that no matter who it is.
At the beginning of the cocktail party, the women arrive
and await for Sean. He shows up and
informs the women that Tierra has been sent home and because he knows what he
wants to do, there also won’t be a cocktail party as they will just go straight
to the rose ceremony. After he leaves,
the women have a few minutes to talk before heading inside to get ready for the
rose ceremony. After Chris and Sean both
make their speeches, along with Lindsay, Desiree, Catherine and AshLee also
receive roses leaving Lesley to say goodbye tonight.

The Bachelor 17: Ice Castles, Glacier Lakes, and Majestic Peaks
I am a proud Canadian girl and am lucky enough to live
within about an eight hour drive of the Rockies, yet I never tire of seeing
those majestic peaks. I often find
myself driving through them and up the Columbia Icefields Parkway which runs
from Jasper in the north to Banff and Lake Louise in the south. Even though I see them as often as I can, I
found myself in awe watching them on The Bachelor tonight as flying over the
mountains as some of the heli shots depicted, you get an even more impressive
view.
Tonight’s epi started with Chris greeting the women as
they arrived at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise that is nestled at one end of
the lake itself. Harrison tells the
girls that they will have two individual dates and a group date this week and
suggested that they find their hotel rooms and get settled in. As the women head upstairs and get settled
in, the first date card arrives. Lindsay
is the first one to grab it and read it out.
Catherine, Let’s find our fairy tale ending.....Sean. You can see the excitement written all over
her face as she jumps up and heads out of the room.
We next join Catherine at the base of the Athabasca
Glacier in the Columbia Icefield. It is
snowing and really windy but even through all that, her shining smile rings
through. Sean’s Giant Snowbus AKA
Brewster’s Columbia Icefield Tour Bus shows up to pick up Catherine. Sean pulls out a “onesy” show suit for her to
put on and tells her that they are going up to play on a glacier. When they reach the tour platform that the
busses are allowed to go to, they both pile out with a wooden toboggan in
tow. They have a chance to slide down
the glacier, frolic in the snow, and even do some handstands before sitting
down to some hot cocoa. Before the leave
the glacier, Sean even gives a quick “Canada, eh” quip. Loving the playful side that they both shared
during the blizzard on that date! After
they are dressed for the night portion of their date, Sean is waiting for her
in the lobby and reminds her that they are looking for their fairy tale tonight
as he opens the door and she sees that they are going to their night portion of
the date in a horse drawn carriage. As
they continue their ride down the road, they come across an ice castle that has
been built for them. Pulling up in
front, they walk up the path that has been adorned by ice sculptures, pass
through the “gate” of ice sculptures that have red roses frozen within and when
they enter, they find a fire and a bench with a “fur blanket” and a couch for
them to curl up on and cuddle.
Back in the woman’s suite, the next date card has arrived
and it is Ash Lee this time that gets it and reads it out: Tierra, Sarah, Ash Lee, Lindsay, Selma, Lesley,
and Daniella, Let’s bare our souls.....Sean.
Back at the castle, Catherine begins telling Sean a story
of what dramatically shaped her life at the age of 12. This story is about how a tree falls on this
girl that walks down a path ahead of Catherine, kills the other girl
immediately and she realized what her goal of falling in love and having a
family matters and that is what this experience is for. When she was done her story, we get an ITM
from Sean of how he thinks that Catherine is great and he really wants her to
stay so in approaching her, he admits to her that he’s crazy about her and
wants to know if she’d accept the rose.
Of course she agrees and the two of them get to share some more kisses
before the night ends.
After the women arrive, Sean greets them and says he’s
got something fun to do today as he guides them over to where the three canoes
are lined up waiting for them. Seeing
that there will be three ladies to two of the canoes, Lesley was the first one
to volunteer herself to ride in the canoe that he was going in. Once they all are under way, they paddle down
to the other end of the lake and upon arriving there, they see tents set up
waiting for them. After they were all
safely on shore, Sean informs them that they will be joining the ranks of a
special club that takes the Lake Louise Polar Bear Plunge. As Sean explains that there is a lifeguard
and ambulatory attendee’s, you look at Tierra’s face and she looks like she’s
already trying to find a way out of this.
At least Selma flat out says no way, but Tierra....hmmm, yea, will this
be number three in the ambulance department?
Come to think of it, Selma wasn’t that graceful either....LOL. She gives us an ITM talking about coming from
the desert and warm weather....wasn’t she the one that was complaining about
the heat when they were climbing the rock faces in Joshua Tree National Park,
desert country? I had to laugh, in ITM’s
Tierra was already trying to talk herself out of it as she doesn’t know how
she’ll react to the cold. (Hello....I
myself have done a polar bear dip cold sober.
Yea, it is cold, you jump in, get out just as fast and get a towel around
you and furry coats afterwards...no big deal.
The temperature was only 0 Celsius, not that cold at all.) The group has finally gotten changed into
their swim suits and made their way out of the tents. After taking their robes and shoes off, they
run for the water’s edge and jump in, just as quick, they are back out and
running to the tents for their robes. A
lot of the girls are exhilarated and feeling great. Sean congratulates Ash Lee as she was one of
the ones that was so hesitant to do the plunge and when it was done, Sean tells
her that he’s so proud of her for it.
But wait....here starts the Tierra histrionics again..........sheesh,
does this girl ever stop? They rush her
back to the hotel in the zodiac boat, get her in a vehicle and to the hotel
doors. From that time on, they are
saying that she’s a whole warmer, stable and okay. The first thing out of Tierra’s mouth is that
she’s missing this time with him. Hello,
if you really were this bad, I wouldn’t think you’d be worried about missing
time with someone but more worried about your own health. Sean and the remaining women are making their
way back to the hotel in the canoes. We
then see Tierra in a wheelchair, her feet uncovered, sipping a hot drink and
saying that she’s still cold and can’t feel her feet. The paramedic said that will come back and
what happened to you is completely normal when you jump into cold water. So if a paramedic is there stating that,
really, how serious can this be especially if the paramedic didn’t feel it
necessary to take Tierra to the local hospital.
EXACTLY, it is only Tierra saying that she has hypothermia, then in an
ITM Catherine is saying that Tierra looks so dishevelled that it makes her
wonder about the other girls....no sooner had that ITM been said, that three of
the other women come hooting and hollering down the hallway totally pumped that
they have done the dip. LOL. We get ITM’s from three of the other women
that also done the plunge and they are all saying how they feel Tierra is
faking it. Next thing we know, there’s
Sean showing up at the door and Tierra is in bed after having some food to eat
and some hot drinks with the oxygen on.
I am sorry, but it is seriously sad that she’s milking all this
attention from the guy. Before leaving,
he says not to come to the night portion of the date as she needs to stay in
bed and look after herself. In an ITM,
he states that he feels confident enough in his feelings about Tierra that it
is best for her health to stay in bed for the night. Question is.....will she?
Sean is already at the Deer Lodge waiting for the women
to arrive for the night portion of the date.
When they do, he greets them again and have a toast for the rest of the
date to continue. Lesley is the first
one to get some private time which she takes advantage of by telling him just
how she’s feeling towards him. Next up
is Sarah who shows him some family pics.
Back at the resort, the next date card arrives and
Catherine is the one to get it and read it out.
Desiree, Don’t be scared...to fall in love. Sean. While
we are at the resort, we see Tierra putting on some makeup and getting ready to
join the others at the Lodge. Yea, this
will go over well....
The women were having so much fun, then all of a sudden
Tierra shows up. Everyone stops talking
and laughing and the tension in the room immediately amps way up. As soon as Sean sees that she has arrived, he
takes her for some private time. Just as
they are talking about getting engaged at the end of this, in walks Lindsay
breaking it up. Tierra didn’t really
look that happy...Sean on the other hand kind of looked relieved. LOL.
Sean and Lindsay head up to the roof for some alone time and in no time
lock lips for another make out session.
Later, Sean is ready to hand out the rose and gives it to Lesley as
today he was able to see a different side of her that he likes. This totally ticks Tierra off and you can
clearly tell that by the expression on her face. LOL.
After everyone gets back to the resort, we see Sean in
his suite looking off into the distance thinking and in an ITM, we hear him
saying how he knows that there isn’t a forever with Sarah and because of that,
he knows he needs to let her go before the rose ceremony. After going down to the girls suite and grabbing
her, he takes her back to his suite where he breaks the news. After she goes back to the room and says good
bye to the other ladies and packs, Sean walks her out of the hotel.
The next day we see Desiree packing her bags and getting
ready for the date. Sean arrives and
picks her up before the two of them head out for their date. As we see the two of them walking up a path
and coming out on the top of Tunnel Mountain in Banff National Park. He tells her that he brought her up there for
their picnic and she becomes really excited, but they have to rappel down the
mountain to get to their picnic spot in the field below and you can see her
excitement leave just as quick.
LOL. Once they get their gear on
and begin the descent, you can see how uneasy she is feeling about it. They safely made it to the bottom after some
nervous time spent by Des. After they
enjoy their picnic in the field below and share some kisses, they joke around
about climbing the tree next to them.
After climbing the tree and joking around, we see them next on the night
portion of the date as they make their way through the woods. They come across a teepee set up with a
wicker chair and blankets along with a fire burning. Des takes this opportunity to talk a bit
about her growing up and some of the trials and tribulations that they went
through. At the end of the evening, Sean
asks her to accept the rose. They finish
off the night by sharing some more kisses by the fire.
All of the women are waiting when Sean arrives for the
cocktail party. When he does show up, he
makes the traditional speech before taking Selma for the first private
time. In an ITM, she talks about not
having the courage to jump in a glacier lake but will have the courage to kiss
him even though it isn’t a part of her culture to kiss especially on national
TV as it is a huge shame to her family.
Lindsay is the next one up and they head outside for some private time
together. They managed to keep their
lips unlocked long enough to share a few thoughts together....LOL. Next up was Ash Lee. Since Ash Lee has a really hard time letting
go of controlling things, she made a symbolic effort on it tonight by letting
Sean blindfold her and carry her to a different location without losing
complete control. When Sean does put her
down, he gives her a few kisses before taking the blindfold off of her. To her, she made big strides this week in
putting herself out there and experiencing new things and proving to herself
that she can let go. When they got back
to the group, Chris shows up letting Sean know it is time for the rose
ceremony. Before leaving the group, he
makes his traditional speech.
For the rose ceremony itself, besides Catherine, Lesley,
and Desiree that already have roses, he handed out other roses to: Lindsay, Ash
Lee and Tierra which meant that Daniella and Selma were sent home.

would like to share. The Bachelor 17: Heli Views and Mixed up Dates
As I said last week, I will be doing a blog each night
after the episodes are shown.
Tonight’s episode begins with Chris showing up at the
mansion and informing the women that there will be a one on one date, a two on
one date and the group date. Then he
says that all the dates will be happening in Montana as they are leaving the
mansion for good.
Sean is the first one to arrive at Whitefish, Montana via
float plane that lands on a lake in front of the lodge. We then see the women arriving in an old
fashioned Glacier National Park tour van.
After all the women check out their digs, Selma finds the date card
waiting for them. Lindsay.....Let love
soar, Sean. Of course she is over the
moon with excitement, the others, especially Tierra are not. Sean arrives right afterwards to pick her up
and take her downstairs where there is a heli waiting for them. Once boarded they take off for a heli tour of
Glacier National Park. Landing on the
top of a grassy hill, they sit down for a picnic. After sharing a lot of kisses, we see them
looking off at the view before we leave them.
When we come back, we join them at the Boatclub at The Lodge at
Whitefish to a roaring fireplace and the two of them toasting wine. Sean is stating in an ITM of how he knows
they have a great connection, but he’s looking to see if they can get a little
deeper tonight. Lindsay tells us that
she grew up being an “army brat” and is really looking for something solid and
a family.
The other ladies are upstairs at the lodge talking when
the next date card arrives. Ashley is
the one to grab the date card and reads it out:
You make my heart race...Sean;
Selma, Ash Lee, Desiree, Catherine, Sarah, Lesley, Robin and Daniella
which leaves Tierra and Jackie going on the two on one date.
Back with Sean and Lindsay, he is saying that everytime
they are together, she surprises him in a good way and that she’d be an
incredible wife and asks her to accept the rose. Once she agrees, he tells her that there is
another surprise for her. They walk
towards town and as they walk down the main street, there is an immense crowd
waiting for them and a concert by Sarah Darling.
The next day is the group date. When all of the women arrive and are greeted
by Sean, they walk down to a field where they see goats, hay, canoe’s and logs
waiting for them. Chris begins to
explain that they will be split up into teams of four where they will have to
canoe to a different location, buck bales of hay, saw a chip off of a log, milk
a goat, then have to chug that goat’s milk.
Chris splits the women up into the teams of: red team; Selma, Sarah, Robyn and
Desiree. Blue team: Ash Lee, Catherine,
Daniella, and Lesley. All I am going to
say is that it started out with a comedy of errors with the blue team winning
the canoe race, the red team winning the bucking the hay, and from then on
out....took the race. Watching Desiree
chug the milk was let’s say totally unappealing. LOL.
When the race was done, Sean said his goodbyes to the blue team as they
piled back into the van and headed back to the hotel as the red team began
their celebrations with Sean.
Sean, Desiree, Selma, Sarah and Robyn all show up at
Casey’s in downtown Whitefish for the evening portion of their date. After they all get their drinks and toast to
the night, we get an ITM from Sean about how his heart had a sinking feeling
that he had to send the blue team home and also feels it is getting late in the
game to send women home that he really hasn’t had a chance to get to know yet.
Back at the Lodge, in walks Chris Harrison with another
date card for the women. He hands Ash
Lee the card claiming that it is another date card for the blue team. Ash Lee reads it out; Ash Lee, Lesley,
Daniella, Catherine....Sending you home didn’t feel good, please join me at the
party tonight. I can’t wait to see
you. Immediately the four women jump to
their feet and begin to get ready as we see Sean back at Casey’s trying to tell
the other four that there will soon be company coming. Immediately you can see the disappointment on
their faces and in an ITM, Desiree even expresses how upset she was that Sean
invited the other team especially after she was the only one that drank the
milk. Sean asks to speak to Sarah first
and as they walk away, we get an ITM from her saying how disappointed that the
other team is invited.
Back at the Lodge we see the other women getting ready to
join Sean at Caseys but before they go, we get another ITM from Tierra about
how pissed she is that the “loser’s” get to join Sean but she’s stuck on the
two on one instead of an individual date.
SHEESH!!
When the other four women finally join Sean at the bar,
the first four are completely upset and it is written all over their
faces. Then if that wasn’t enough drama,
Tierra shows up. Fortunately for her,
the other women never saw her coming in as she interrupted Sean as he was
giving an ITM away from the other women.
Quickly, the two of them head outside to chat; she tells him how her
going on the two on one is like a slap in the face. WHAT???
Sean comes back to the group and asks to speak to Desiree
next. They were alone for very little
time when Ash Lee walks in. This of
course completely riles Des up even more as she isn’t happy that the blue team
is even there in the first place. During
Ash Lee and Sean’s time, they have a little chat about how close they are
feeling for each other and even have some time for smooches.
We are taken back to the Lodge where the next date card
arrives. Lindsay grabs the card and
reads it out: Tierra and Jackie, Love is
a wild ride....Sean. There is a second
card from Chris where it states how there are two women, one rose, one stays,
one goes. The usual two on one poem that
goes with the date card from the lead.
Back at Casey’s, Sean and Catherine are heading outside
for some quality time together. We get
an ITM from Sean stating how he loves being with her and always wants to
snuggle with her. They sit on a park
bench outside and talk about how they both enjoy being with each other and how
happy it makes each of them. Daniella
comes downstairs to find Sean and to her credit, she doesn’t interrupt but
rather heads back upstairs and tells Desiree what’s going on. As they talk, Daniella becomes emotional in
time for Sean to come inside and find her distraught over the situation. The two of them head downstairs where
Daniella expresses to Sean that she’s having a hard time with this process and
is really finding him interesting and someone that she can fall for. This immediately breaks into an impromptu
make out session. Back upstairs, Sean is
ready to hand out the date rose. He
claims that tonight he saw a different side of this woman that he wants to give
the rose to and has chosen to give it to Daniella.
Next, we see Jackie and Tierra being transported to the
Bar W Guest Ranch where Sean is waiting for them. They will be going on horseback to their two
on one date location. Arriving at the
date location, Sean makes a toast for their date then asks Jackie for some
alone time first. During their time
together, Jackie tries to tell Sean that she feels Tierra may have a wandering
eye as they were somewhere and Tierra kept going on about how a guy is really
cute. That is something that would directly
affect him versus Tierra just not getting along with the other women. Sean and the girls arrive at their next
location for the evening portion of their date.
There is so much tension in the air that you can cut it with a
knife. In their alone time, Tierra tells
Sean about the guy she was with before, of how he was into drugs and died, of
how she has a really big heart and thinks that can’t be seen right now. What I find weird is that he passed away in
2009, well Tierra is only 24 so that would of made her fourteen or fifteen at
the time. This really seems odd to me
that she’d have that long of a relationship with a boyfriend, that young. They head inside and Sean finally makes his
decision to hand the rose out. DRAT, he
gave the rose to Tierra.....more drama from the drama queen coming right
up! After walking Jackie out, Sean heads
inside where he takes Tierra out front by the lake and fireworks begin to go
off.
As the women arrive at the Grouse Mountain Lodge for the
cocktail party, we continue to get ITM’s.
Sean arrives and makes a toast to the night before he takes Desiree out
first for some alone time. In their
conversation, Sean is trying to ask her questions but Des seems reluctant to
completely answer them. Who can blame
her in a way; anytime someone speaks up against Tierra, they are the ones that
seem to get the boot. While Sean is out
with different ladies, all hell breaks loose because of the tension. All the women are having a discussion in one
of the rooms, Tierra gets pissed with what they are saying so she gets up and
stomps off to a different room.
Meanwhile, Robyn gets fed up with walking on eggshells all the time so
goes after Tierra to confront her.
Lesley and eventually Catherine tag along to see what is being
said. One of the enlightened comments
that Tierra makes “If I want to get engaged, I can get engaged. There are so many_______ guys in the world.” Yep, that speaks of someone that is
mature.......NOT! While Tierra is
blowing up, Sean walks through the room.
He carries on into another room and is standing there pacing back and
forth while we get an ITM from him expressing that Tierra’s blowup is taking
him by surprise. He comes back into the
room and asks to take Tierra out for a chat.
When they are outside and alone, Tierra of course blames everything on
the other women claiming that they are the ones attacking her. Oh lordy, I have had about enough of
Tierrable for tonight. Lesley is the
next one to get some alone time with Sean.
He immediately asks about Tierra.
To Lesley’s credit, she didn’t come out and completely slam Tierra or
any of the women, but when asked if there is anything that Sean needs to know
that will directly affect him, she came through with saying that it is possible
to have a relationship with the other women in the house and Sean at the same
time. Sean has said that he wants
someone that can get along with others.
Well, Tierra doesn’t have a relationship with anyone in the house. To me, that should speak volumes. If I were one to do the show and as the lead,
wanted someone that could get along with others at the same time as myself...if
several came to me and said that it wasn’t happening. I as the lead should give that considerable
weight. I can’t help but wonder if or
when Sean ever will????
Finally, for the first time this season, we get a
chairside chat between Chris and Sean.
These chats seem to be too few and infrequent in the last few seasons
and I for one would wish that they’d do it more often. In their discussion, of course the drama with
Tierra was brought up and Sean is stating that if Tierra isn’t the one for him,
he’s got no problem in taking back her rose and giving it to someone who
deserves it.
When all the women are lined up, Sean comes out and makes
his speech before handing out the roses to:
Selma, Catherine, Lesley, Ash Lee, Sarah and Desiree leaving Robyn to
take the lonely ride home this week.

The Bachelor 17: Romance, Drama, and Rodeo Drive
Tonight’s episode began in the usual way with Chris
Harrison showing up at the mansion, telling the girls what to expect this week
and depositing the first date card on the table before escaping. We then get treated to another shirtless Sean
as he gets ready for the day.
Lesley is the first one to grab the envelope and read out
the date card. Selma, Let’s turn up the
heat....Sean. After Selma skips off to
get ready for her date, the mood in the room plummets as we continue to get
ITM’s from Selma and Leslie.
When Sean arrives to pick her up, they walk outside,
climb into a limo and head to an air strip where they board a private
plane. Sitting close together and
cuddled up, they enjoy the view as they fly off. When they disembark from the plane, she isn’t
too impressed with her surroundings as she realized that they are in the
desert. As Sean walks her out to a jeep,
they drive towards the Joshua Tree National Park where Selma learns that they
are actually going to be rock climbing today.
The whole way from the time they got off the plane, we are getting ITM’s
from her saying how she doesn’t do well in the heat, really looking forward to
a luxurious date, etc. so imagine the look on her face when she finally
realizes that they are in the desert and aren’t on a luxurious date but are
going to be rock climbing. They donned
their gear and began the climb up this rock face. I got to give her props, Selma really did
well on the climb for sure. Sitting at
the top and talking, you realize exactly how high they were and looking at
Sean, it was also obvious how she impressed him as well. For the night portion of their date, they
drove the jeep to this “camping” area where there was two trailers set up, a
“bed” or bench outside where they were able to lay back on and just chat. Once they made their first toast of the
night, they began to delve into each other’s lives a bit. When Selma begins talking about her growing
up in a strict home, we get an ITM about how she was born in Bagdad and because
of her Muslim faith, her family wouldn’t be happy about her kissing a guy on
national television, she’s hoping that isn’t going to be a stumbling block for
her and Sean.
Back at the mansion, the next date card has arrived. Before the card is read, we get an ITM from
Tierra expressing how she’s tired of being on group dates with chaperones and
is looking forward to an individual date as she feels she deserves it. Daniella is the first one to get it and read
it out. Lindsay, Robin, Jackie,
Catherine, Amanda, Ash Lee, Sarah and Tierra; I am looking for a woman who can
roll with the punches....Sean. As soon
as Tierra realizes that she is on another group date, the sour look that comes
over her face is unreal.
We rejoin Sean and Selma just as Sean says that he wants
to kiss her and she tells Sean that they can’t kiss. Immediately, she tries to explain why they
can’t kiss and at the end of that, he states that he understands. Even though they didn’t share a kiss at the
end of the night, Sean still states that he is crazy over her and asks her to
accept the rose.
The next day is the group date....as the girls pile into
a couple of limo’s and hit the road to meet up with Sean, we hear from him
what’s on the agenda for the date. When
the women arrive, he tells them that today’s date will be a competitive one and
he hopes that they brought their A game today.
When the warehouse doors open up, the girls realize that it is a roller
derby rink and not only that, but they will be doing the derby challenge. First they are split into teams and begin to
practice. One by one, all the girls are
biting it as they all hit the derby floor in one fashion or another. Eventually, Sarah is the one that is having
the real problem with it as she realizes that this is not only a mental
challenge but a physical one for her and with only one arm, it might not be the
one for her to do. Seeing how hard of a
time Sarah was having with it, Ash Lee went to talk to her followed by
Sean. Both of them were encouraging her
to do it, but also, both understood if she didn’t want to. After a while, Sarah got back on her
proverbial horse and started practicing with the other girls again. Eventually, you could see the confidence
creep back into her again until Amanda came crashing to the ground and cracked
her chin on the derby rink floor. After
Amanda was taken to the hospital, Sean came back and informed the ladies that
instead of the pre-intended challenge date, he’s going to change it up and just
have an ole fashioned skate around. This
definitely made some happy like Sarah. Sean
took his turn skating around with most of the girls to the song Foolish Heart
as we continually got ITM’s from the ladies.
When they had all changed, they headed over to the Roosevelt Hotel where
they were able to enjoy the night portion of their date. Sean made the customary speech, then took
Sarah aside to talk to her first to find out where she stood now that the derby
part was over. Sean took that time to
tell her that he was happy and proud of what she did at the rink. Just after they made their way back to the
other ladies, Amanda arrives and Sean immediately takes her aside for some
private time and to touch bases with her as to how her jaw is doing. Let me just say that I am finding Amanda to
be a little weird in her ITM’s....Am I alone in this??
At the mansion, the next date card arrives and Desiree is
the first one to get it and read it out.
Leslie, could this be forever?
Sean. Desiree also states that there
is a second part to the date card as she holds up a jewelry box. When she opens it, they see a pair of diamond
earings inside much to Leslie’s delight.
Well, that didn’t take long. Once again Tierra is disrupting a date as she
seems to want to cop an attitude at Robyn when all Robyn was wanting to know is
what happened to Amanda. The tension on
this group date is escalating for sure as Robyn takes a leave of absence and
leaves poor Sarah alone to deal with Tierra.
Sarah makes an attempt to ask Tierra what’s wrong, but of course, she
breaks off in a tangent and asks one of the production crew if she could leave
because she’s done with all of this, then heads off to find Sean.
Holy Batman, this Tierra girl really is having a hard
time with things and looking at twitter tonight, not too many people have
sympathy for the girl....I can see why.
Sean and Lindsay are upstairs having some quality time
together and decide to come downstairs to jump into the hot tub, just in time
to get ambushed by Tierra as they come out the stairway door. Poor Lindsay is left alone as Sean is
hijacked by Tierra. As Tierra set up her
sad sob story to Sean about her waiting for a long time to give her heart to
someone(she’s only 24) and then watching Sean fall for her whylie ways, poor,
poor Sean. Then of all things, when Sean
tells her to stay put and he will be right back, you can see the sly smile on
her face as she realizes that he’s likely going to get the rose to give to her. That right there kinda puts the question
aside as to whether she’s playing a game or there for the “right reasons”. When Sean picks up the rose and walks away,
the other women realize that he’s going to give it to her and immediately they
all look dumbfounded. Sean makes his way
back to Tierra and asks her to accept the rose giving her a kiss. We are given ITM’s from Ash Lee and Robyn
that sums things up very nice with regards to how manipulative and conniving
Tierra really is.
The last date of the night begins with Sean arriving to
pick up Leslie. They walk outside to
find a sports car waiting for them.
Driving into town and pulling up in front of a store on Rodeo Drive, he
tells her that they are heading in to get some clothes. After trying on at least four different
dresses, they settle on the fifth which Sean describes as a dress that matches
her smile. She picked out some shoes and
a purse to match, meanwhile, Sean got dressed in a suit and one more surprise
was revealed to Leslie as they arrived at Neil Lane Jewelers. Neil shows them a huge diamond necklace that
she gets to wear for the night and the two of them head out to a private
dinner. When they first sit down, Sean
informs her that although she doesn’t get to keep the necklace, the earings are
hers. They begin sharing parts of their
lives but to me, it was obvious that the chemistry between them was really
missing. At the end of the night, Sean
told her that he didn’t feel any chemistry happening or clicking between them
either as he walked her out. We get a
musical compilation by Ben Taylor as we are shown scenes of Sean mulling over
how the night went, Leslie in her goodbye video, and the women at the mansion
as the luggage was taken away.
At the cocktail party, all the women seem more uneasy as
it is obvious that the Tierra tension has been building in the house. Sean arrives and gives his customary speech
and afterwards takes Ash Lee for some quality time. He admits to her that they didn’t get much of
a chance to talk the other day at on the date.
They are able to share some sweet kisses before their time is done. Next is Robyn. She states in an ITM how she wants to find
something that will make him remember her and as such, comes up with a
chocolate “joke”. Tierra takes Robyn and
Jackie outside to talk to them and “apologize” to them for the other
night. Even though both of the women
stated that they accepted her apology, you can tell that the tension between
everyone still stands. Tierra is the
next person that has a chance for some private time with Sean. She states that she hopes he doesn’t think
that she’s a drama person and Sean said that he didn’t think so, but also
thinks that she’s her worse enemy on it as she gets hyped up and makes freaks
herself out on it. Catherine is the next
one to get some private time with Sean and we finally get a glimpse of their
closeness and chemistry. While they sit
on the couch with a bunch of the women behind them, Sean admits that if the
others weren’t there, he’d give her a kiss.
She immediately takes the opportunity to ask him for them to take a walk
together. They head around to the front
of the house and find that private spot where Sean doesn’t waste any time and
they have a nice makeout session in front of the house.
Chris Harrison comes into the living room and making his
trademark glass tinkling, he reminds Sean and the girls that it is rose
ceremony time. After making the
traditional speech, Sean and Chris head to his deliberation room.
After the women are lined up and ready for the Rose
Ceremony to begin, Sean appears, makes a speech and along with Selma and
Tierra, he hands out roses to: Catherine, Desiree, Lindsay, Lesley, Robyn, Ash
Lee, Sarah, Jackie and Daniella; leaving Amanda as the lone woman leaving
tonight after the rose ceremony was finished.

The Bachelor Episode Three: Broken Records, Sand and Roller Coasters
Tonight’s episode began with the pre-requisite shirt off
workout, not that I am complaining mind you.
Meanwhile, Chris heads over to the mansion to tell the ladies what they
can expect for their second week at the mansion. He says that there will be a group date and
two individual dates but not all women will go on a date so use your time
wisely. Before leaving, he plops the
first date card of the week onto the table and Selma is the first one to get up
and read out the card.
Lesley M, How long will this love last....Sean. You can see the disappointment in the room
that they didn’t get the individual date but most were happy about the
choice. We get some ITM’s from Lesley as
she runs upstairs to get dressed, packed and ready for her date.
Sean and Lesley are in the limo, driving towards their
date location when he asks her what she thinks the date is going to be. She gives a guess that maybe they are going
on a trip somewhere, and of course, he plays coy about it to which she calls
him out and says that he’s got a great poker face. They pull up in front of The Guiness Book of
Records in Hollywood, CA. Outside there
appears to be nothing set up, nothing going on, when they go inside, they begin
to take a look around at all the exhibits.
Sean stops in front of one particular one and tells the story of how his
dad broke a Guiness record for the shortest amount of time to drive through 48
states, then he proceeds to tell her that he thought it might be nice to break
one of his own. Grabbing her hand, he
leads her outside to the front of the building that they came in on a while
earlier to find a crowd waiting for them, a stage set up and Chris Harrison
standing there ready to greet them. When
Lesley learns what they are going to be doing, she is a bit flabbergasted to
put it mildly.....LOL.
Chris introduces Stewart Flaxton(sorry for not knowing
the spelling) as the Guiness observer and then tells Sean and Lesley that the
current record is three minutes and fifteen seconds so they have the clock set
for three minutes and sixteen seconds.
When they are ready, Chris does the countdown and the kiss is on. As they continually kiss, their lips can’t
break contact according to Guiness rules so the observer is keeping a close eye
on that while the crowd is cheering on the two of them, and as Chris continues
to count the clock down, he asks the crowd watching what they think. I must think this would be incredibly awkward
for Sean and Lesley, never mind the crowd watching, but if you listen to their
ITM’s, there were times that they didn’t know the crowd was even there so power
to them for sure.
When they meet up for the night portion of their date,
they head up to the roof of the Roosevelt Hotel where they find champagne
waiting for them. Sean asked her things
about her childhood, what her favorite time was, then asked her more about her
family. Lesley talks about how he makes
her nervous but in a good way when she’s around him. When Sean said that she had control when she
came out of the limo, then he took some of the control over today, he says that
he’s been waiting for her to take it back.
After a slow moment, she leans in for a kiss, and when they were done,
she says how about that for taking it back.
It is very obvious that they have some major chemistry flowing between
them.
Back at the mansion, a new date card arrives and Ash Lee
is the first one to get it and read it out.
Kacie, Robyn, Leslie H, Kristy, Catherine, Desiree, Taryn, Amanda,
Lindsay, Daniella, Jackie, and Tierra....Whose going to win my heart? Sean.
Back at the Roosevelt, Sean asks Lesley if she thinks
they can make this work, and when she agrees yes. He picks up the rose and asks her to stay to
which she promptly says yes. When all
was said and done, they shared some more kisses on the rooftop as the confetti
was blown out of the cannons yet again.
The next day all the ladies are heading down to the beach
to meet up with Sean. When they all pile
out of the limo, each one greets Sean, then when they arrive at their “hut”,
Sean tells them that it is a day to hang out at the beach, throwing the
frizbee, football or whatever they want to do. After they are there for a few minutes, they
begin tossing the ball, Sean takes off his shirt and of course all the women go
crazy. We are shown Catherine getting
laying on Sean’s back as he does some pushups while the rest of the women are
hanging around, the whole while, we are getting ITM’s from the ladies. Just when they were having too much fun,
Chris walks up to them and tells them that they are having a competition
volleyball game as the winning team will be staying for some more time with
Sean while the losing team will be going back to the mansion. After the teams are established, we have a
blue team of: Lindsay, Jackie, Robyn, Desiree, Amanda and Kacie. The red team is: Catherine, Daniella, Kristy,
Leslie H, Taryn and Tierra. Once they
all practiced for a while, they began playing the game. The red team was ahead at one point for a
while, but eventually lost the two point game to the blue team. Sean immediately tried to comfort the red
team in their defeat, but to no avail as it was obvious that some were pretty
distraught as they said goodbye to Sean and endured their lonely car ride back
to the mansion.
Meanwhile, during the night portion of the date, the
drama didn’t end at the red team as the blue team too had it’s share of drama
through the night. We see team blue
arriving at their night location for their date and shortly afterwards, see the
red team arriving at the mansion still bummed by their loss. Back with Sean, he takes Lindsay out first
for their quality time in which they talked for a little while together, then
of course shared a few kisses before their time was done. Next was Desiree. She and Sean went for a little walk before
sitting down and having a heart to heart chat about the things that they like
in each other. Sean told her that he
likes her strength and of course her in her bikini today. They even snuck in a few quick kisses before
they had to head back to the group.
Meanwhile at the mansion, the next date card arrives and
Tierra rushes out to grab it. She reads
the card out....Ash Lee.....and Selma.
Well, that wasn’t going over so well and when she finally confessed that
it was a joke that the card was for Ash Lee all alone, she got an earful on her
“joke”. If looks could kill, she’d
definitely be lying on the ground. Sarah
even spoke up about it not being cool that someone’s name was read out on a
date card that didn’t even have a date and when Tierra tried to blow it off,
that too fell like a ton of bricks. The
card read out Ashley....do you believe in magic? Sean.
Back on the group date, Amanda is the next one to get
some alone time with Sean. Amanda is
talking on about what she’s like, what she wants in a guy, etc, when Dez and
some of the other women can hear what she’s saying. This of course prompts conflict between
Desiree and Amanda. So far out of Amanda
when it is just the women around, she is like a stick in the mud but when Sean
comes near, she is this bubbly outgoing self....where the heck did that come
from? LOL. Just when Amanda and Sean were done, Kacie
takes Sean away for some private time with him.
As she states in an ITM, she can see the drama building between Amanda
and Desiree, she’s going to take advantage of it as she suspects that Sean
won’t tolerate drama. Hmmm, can I smell
a backfire coming on here? After sitting
down, Kacie goes into the drama between Desiree and Amanda and how Kacie is
being put in the middle. You can see by
the look on Sean’s face, he’s not impressed at all. Close to the end of their conversation, Sean
asks why she’s putting herself in the middle and tells her that all he wants is
for her to act like Kacie and not this crazy one sitting next to him. Immediately there is almost a look of
recognition crosses her face of what she did, and we immediately get an ITM
from Kacie saying that what she’s done has maybe backfired in her face.... All I got to say, if you have done this game
before, why put yourself into the line of fire like that? When they come back from their alone time,
Sean gives a speech then hands out the rose to Lindsay. The whole while, Kacie is giving us ITM’s about
how she’s going to be looked on as the crazy one.
The next day, Ash Lee is getting ready for her date, packed
up her suitcases and was waiting downstairs for her date with Sean when Tierra
takes a tumble down the stairs. Sean
arrives for the date but before he can go, they get the ambulance to check out
Tierra. As the ambulance crew prepare to
“package” up Tierra for a trip to the hospital, she all of a sudden starts
protesting all the aid, and really just wants everyone to leave her alone. As she continues her protesting, we get a
glimpse of the other women who now realize that this is a hoax and once Tierra
realizes that she can’t make this continue any longer as the professionals at
the hospital are going to find out.
Throughout this process, we are getting ITM’s from the other women who
generally say that if the medical professionals tell you to go get things
checked out, you are going to do what they say.
When she protests enough, the ambulance crew relent and let her up, she
immediately hops up and makes a beeline to the back yard. Hmmm, yea, ok...sorry, just not buying this
“injury”. When all is said and done,
Tierra gets what she wants anyways as Sean heads out to the backyard to spend
some time with her.
When Ash Lee and Sean finally do get a chance to go out
on their date, they take Sean’s Jeep and head to Magic Mountain Theme Park
where they meet up with Jacquie who tells Ash Lee that there will be two girls
meeting up with them to enjoy the day.
Brianna shows up first and has no idea that her best friend whom she has
never met will also be joining them at the park. When her friend Emily shows up, the two of
them hit it off right away. As the four
of them wander through the park, onto rides and playing games, you get the
feeling of how special this date is to Sean and Ash Lee, never mind the two
best friends that had never met before today.
When the sun went down, they went over to a square area where they were
treated to a live concert by the Eli Young Band. After the girls leave, Sean and Ash Lee have
a chance for a while on their own where they get a chance to talk for a
while. Ash Lee tells Sean of her being
abused by her foster parents to wind up in a home and adopted at the age of
six. When she is telling her story, it
is obvious that it is hitting home with Sean.
When she is done, Sean hands out the rose to her and they have a chance
to dance to a slow song by the band that is there.
After Sean arrives for the cocktail party, he takes Sarah
out front for some private time with her.
They are standing in the driveway when a limo pulls up and Sarah begins
to freak out a bit thinking that he’s sending her home, but when Sean opens up
the door, there sitting on the seat is her dog Leo. Sean spent a little while in the driveway getting
to know Leo as they ran up and down the driveway together, as Leo chased a
ball. Needless to say, this really
impressed Sarah that he’d go to that trouble in bringing her dog to her. Next to get some alone time was Tierra. As soon as they got outside and sat down,
Sean asked how she was doing and as soon as he asked if she wanted to go to a
doctor, she immediately changed the topic.
Is/was she still trying to get sympathy from him and when he said let’s
go to the doctor, she realized it’s no good or what? You be the judge. Just a little while into their conversation,
Desiree comes out to steal Sean away and in an ITM we hear from Tierra of how
“un-cool” that was. Enough so that in
short order, she heads back out to Sean to steal him away again leaving Desiree
there sitting by herself. Even though
Desiree only had a couple minutes with Sean, she still managed to get a kiss
in....LOL. Throughout the cocktail party
we get glimpses of Catherine, Robyn, Lindsay, Leslie, Kristy, and Taryn talking
to Sean but no real conversation shown; then when it comes to Kacie’s turn, she
tries to smooth over the rough patches from the other night, but half way
through their conversation, more of the women joined them. Finally Chris came to interrupt the group and
let Sean escape to his deliberation room.
Sean comes back from his deliberation room, makes the
traditional speech and before handing out any of the roses, asks to talk to
Kacie. He leads her outside where he
gives her the friend’s card speech and how he respects her way too much to let
her go through another rose ceremony and escorts her to the waiting car. When he heads back inside, he continues to
hand out the roses to: Tierra, Leslie, Catherine, Daniella, Robyn, Selma,
Sarah, Jackie, Amanda and Desiree. This
leaves Taryn and Kristy to head home roseless.

The Bachelor Episode 2: Group Date, Drama, High Flying Acts
Tonight’s epi begins with us at Sean’s place and he is
talking about his experiences the night before when he met the twenty-six women
for the first time. Then, Chris Harrison
stops by the mansion to welcome the ladies to their home for the next several
weeks. First off, telling the women what
kind of a sincere guy they have in Sean and before he leaves, he drops the
first date card off on the table.
Kristy picks up the envelope and reads out Sarah...are
you ready to fall in love today...Sean.
She becomes the first one to get an individual date this week. As Sarah leaves the women and heads upstairs
to get ready, we get an ITM from her as she explains that she really thinks
Sean will give her a chance and won’t treat her differently because she only
has one arm.
All the women are waiting outside when a heli lands and
Sean jumps out to greet the women. After
brief exchanges, he and Sarah head back to the chopper and climb aboard. Sean expresses that it’s hard being with all
the women last night and he’s looking forward to spending time with one woman. They land on a heli-pad and walk towards the
edge. When they are standing up there, Sean
says that he has brought her all the way up here for a champagne toast that is
waiting for her all the way down there(as he points towards the ground).
Yea, my idea of fun.....look down over the edge of a
building 300 feet to the bottom......NOT!
I’d like to brag that I am not scared of too many things, but that, yep,
that tops the list for sure.
As they get into their harnesses and prepare for their
freefall, bless her heart, Sarah puts on her brave face, but you can tell, she
is scared sh^tless. As they get ready
for their plunge, they inch their way to the edge and counting down from five,
they take off and freefall to the bottom.
When they finally get out of their harnesses, it looks like neither can
wait for Sean to pop the cork on the champagne and they take their first GULP.
When they both have gotten changed, they arrive at the
evening portion of their date where Sarah shares a story with Sean that can
melt anyone’s heart. The challenges that
disabled people of any kind of disability can go through and how they can be
discriminated for it is actually quite shocking. Apparently she and her father were wanting to
zipline at one time – when they were ready to do it, they were stopped by the
crew and told that because she has one arm, she’s not allowed to. A simple thing like ziplining when you are
tied into harnesses, and you are prohibited from doing so.
Back at the mansion...........
The next date card arrives and Robin is the one to get
it. Reading it out, they find that it is
a group date for 14 of the women; Amanda, Brooke, Catherine, Daniella, Dianna, Kacie,
Katie, Kristy, Lesley M, Leslie, Robin, Selma, Taryn and Tierra; Let’s capture
the romance. This leaves AshLee,
Desiree, Jackie, and Lindsay without dates so far this week. The first one to whine about going on a group
date is Tierra.....let me guess, she will be the major negative one this time
around.......LOL.
Back with Sean and Sarah.......
They talked a little bit about what she’s looking for in
a relationship, before Sean takes her back up to their rooftop heli pad where
there is more champagne and a rose waiting for them. Realizing that he’s looking forward to getting a kiss to end their
night, he gives her the rose and after which he gets that long awaited kiss.
Back at the mansion,
all the women head outside to find the waiting limos. Once all are on board, they take off to their
date location and upon their arrival, they find a castle/mansion and Sean
waiting for them on the balcony. After
Sean greets the women and they all file inside, he tells them that they are
doing a photoshoot with Sean for the cover of Harlequin Books. The lady from Harlequin tells them that
Harlequin will be watching to see who has the best chemistry with Sean. While the ladies and Sean are getting ready
for their shoot, they all are giving some ITM’s; some good, others are talking
some smack for sure. There was a point
that it was hard to decide who was causing or on the receiving end of the drama
today, but in the end, the nominations for sexy scenes of the day went to
Lesley, Selma, and Kristy. Kristy won
out for sure and as such, those three will be given their three book cover
deal. When the photo shoot was done,
they all got changed into their night time wear and headed down pool-side for a
party. Lesley was the first one to get
some private time with Sean. When Sean
asks her the real reason why she is there, she coyly says that it is for love
to which Sean whole heartedly agrees and states that it is the real reason they
all should be there for. Sean left
Lesley, had some quality time with Daniella, then Kristy in time for Lesley to
take him back as she really wanted to plant a kiss. When they finished with their makeout
session, Sean went inside to get Kacie and the two of them headed out for a
private chat where Kacie and Sean stated that they wanted to explore their
friendship to see if it will go into the boyfriend/girlfriend zone or stay as
friends. Finally, Catherine had a
chance for some quality time with Sean and they took advantage of it with some
laughs. Selma too had a chance for some
quality time with Sean as well. Tierra
was the next one to get some alone time with Sean.
Back at the
mansion………….
The next date card
arrives and Sarah is the one to retrieve it and read it out; Desiree, love is priceless….Sean.
Back with the ladies,
Katie is beginning to have doubts as to whether this is the right thing for her
and runs her feelings by Kacie as she has done this before. Katie heads out to talk to Sean whom tried to
tell her that he too had a hard time with the process, but in the end, Katie
chooses to leave as this just isn’t her thing and realizes that she’s
done. When all was said and done, Sean
handed out the rose to Kacie saying that this is not an easy process and for
her to come back and try it again, he wanted to give her the rose. After the rose was handed out, one of the
first ITM’s that we hear is from Tierra who stated that she wanted to punch
Kacie as Tierra felt the rose was all hers.
As we see in almost every season, there is at least one woman who feels
they are the only ones that Sean likes….this season, that woman is obviously
Tierra. Time will tell I guess.
Sean and Desiree hit
the “art gallery”
Sean meets up with
Chris Harrison at the “art gallery” to pull a prank on Desiree. They set up a scenario where an “art exhibit”
crashes to the ground when Desiree is alone in a room. When the “artist” comes into the room, he
blames Desiree for the “accident” and all h^ll breaks loose. Desiree arrives and Sean is out there to
greet her. They enter the gallery and
are introduced to the artist of the exhibit worth 1.5 million dollars. They are taken into a room, take a look
around, and promptly Sean is pulled out of the room. He heads out to a private area where he meets
up with Harrison and they watch the whole thing unfold in front of them on
hidden camera. After being left
completely alone in the room, Desiree sits down at a table prompting the piece
to come crashing down to the ground. The
photographer comes in to find the piece in a million point five pieces on the
floor….and in walks the artist. Let’s
say……things go awry and finally Sean appears and lets her off the hook by
telling her that this was all an act and actors were there pulling it off. He tells her that the real date begins now as
they leave the gallery and head to Seans for dinner. They tell each other a bit of their families,
where they are from and what they want.
They eventually get changed into their swim suits and head out for some hot
tub time. At the end of the night, he
asks her to accept the rose and hesitantly…..as a joke……she accepts.
Cocktail party is up
next…………
When Sean arrives,
Catherine hands him a drink and after his customary speech, he takes Lindsay
out first for some quality time with him.
They begin to talk and right away Lindsay apologizes for being a little
drunk that first night and wants to re-affirm with him that she wants to be
there to get to know him. One by one,
the ladies get their chance with Sean. Through
the night, the ladies realize how frustrating some of the women can be and the
two that they seem to have a real hard time with are Tierra and Amanda. Drama time again…LOL. Robyn finally gets her chance and her main
topic that she wanted to bring up with Sean was racial differences and if he
had a “type” regarding race. Sean
immediately confirms that he doesn’t have a type when it comes to race and in
fact has dated ladies from different races.
This immediately puts Robyn at ease and as it should be, when you just
click with someone, that’s all that should matter.
When all was said and
done, besides Sarah, Kacie and Desiree, he handed out roses to; Ash Lee,
Lindsay, Robyn, Jackie, Lesley, Selma, Catherine, Kristy, Leslie, Tierra,
Taryn, Daniella, and Amanda which left Brooke and Dianna going home at the rose
ceremony along with Katie from the group date.

The Bachelor is Back – Sean Lowe Begins His Journey
Tonight, Sean re-hashed his failed season with Emily and
how he’s looking forward to hopefully finding his wife.
We are shown scenes of what we can expect throughout his
season, then we get into the usual back story of Sean, his family and how he
thinks the season will go.
Arie arrives at the Bachelor Pad to share some tips and
stories of what Sean could expect through the journey. They reminisce about their time on the
Bachelorette vying for Emily’s affections.
Then.....Arie gives Sean some tips on kissing. Talk about funny. I think their time together was really a
lighthearted look at the “Bachelor show”.
Good on them!!
Once Sean and Arie were done, we are shown intro videos
of some of the women; highlighted were: Desiree, Tierra, Robin, Diana, Sarah,
Ashley P (50 Shades of Grey), Lesley M, and Ash Lee.
Sean arrives at the mansion to meet up with Chris
Harrison just before the first limo arrives and Chris has a brief moment to
tell Sean what he can expect throughout the night. As the limo’s keep pulling up, several note
worthy ladies exit them including Jackie who first puts on some red lipstick
before planting a kiss and making her mark on Sean’s cheek which promptly gets
wiped off by the next arrival in Selma.
Things get even more interesting when Tierra gets out and walks up to
meet Sean. After a brief exchange, he
says wait right here, walks in the mansion, tells Chris that he’s wanting to
change the rules tonight and says that he’s ready to hand a rose out to Tierra
right now, grabs a rose, walks out and hands it to Tierra. Well, when Tierra walks into the mansion with
the rose, you can literally see the cat claws digging into her back....LOL. The last of the twenty-five women was Lindsay
who showed up in a wedding dress.
When all twenty-five women were inside, Harrison arrives
out front to tell Sean that there is one more that wants her shot and has
called specifically to give it a chance.
When the last limo pulls up, Kacie B from Ben Flajnik’s season steps
out. Apparently they are already
friends, but she wanted to find out if there could be something more between
them.
After Kacie walked into the “lion’s den” we of course get
numerous looks, glares and ITM’s regarding how she’s back for a second go and
how “unfair” it is. All I got to
say....All’s fair in love and war, well she’s hoping for love but by the looks
of the glares and ITM’s, she may only get the war part.
Finally Sean heads into the house and makes the customary
speech, but not before we get the usual chit-chat regarding him and his looks,
how he’s the real deal and a “man”. Oh
goody, round 17 coming right up!
The usual first night cattiness begins as Sean begins to
take the women away for some private time to chat. The first rose of the night went to Tierra
and many women assumed that it was the only first impression rose of the
evening till low and behold, Desiree is also given a rose, then Ash Lee and
more till what do you know but all hell breaks loose in the cattiness realm.
The entertainer of the night was definitely the “50
shades of grey” lady, Ashley P as she continually got more and more drunk
through the night. That combined with
that 50 shades personality, not so much of a great combination. She heads out to try to have some private
time with Sean, interrupting his visit with Paige, well, that didn’t go off so
well considering she kept booty dancing at Sean the whole time he was
talking. You could see the expression of
disgust and wonderment as he tried to figure out what she was up to. As if that could impress him at all, her
sober 50 shades action out on the driveway as she arrived turned him off, how
did she think that the drunk 50 shades personality was going to impress him at
all?? Let’s just say, tonight had no
shortage of drama!
Pre-rose ceremony, roses were handed out to: Tierra,
Desiree, Ash Lee, Selma, Robin, Katie, Catherine, Jackie, Leslie, Sarah, Brooke,
and Diana. During the rose ceremony,
Sean handed out seven more roses to: Amanda, Lesley M, Kacie, Kristy, Daniella,
Taryn and Lindsay. This leaves Ashley P,
Kelly, Lacey, Paige, Kerri Anne, Ashley H and Lauren packing their bags and
heading home.
