News and Miscellaneous

Tonight was the start of a new series called The Proposal which was produced by the same producers of The Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise.  The host is none other than Jesse Palmer, Bachelor season 5.

The Proposal premiered with it's first "mystery guy"; Mike Crowe.  He is 29, a police officer, and about six years ago lost his right leg in a traffic accident.  His ten women to choose from were:

Jessica Turik                   30                Pittsburg, PA
Morgan Maxwell            25                Long Island, NY
Havilah Malone              35                New Orleans, LA
Nicole Gillespie              27                Southern, CA
Kelly Gray                      30                Southern CA
Stephanie Contreras       28                 Dallas, TX
Riona Booze                   29                Atlanta, GA
Kendall Maxwell            30                LA, CA
Alona Ballard                 41                Cincinatti,
Monica Villalobos          31                Southern, CA

Through the elimination process, he was able to keep certain amount of women at each interval to get to know better.  The first seven to make the cut were Jessica, Morgan, Stephanie, Riona, Kendall, Alona and Monica.  The next round was the swimwear round which Jessica, Morgan, Kendall, and Monica passed.  It was at this point that the questionaire - deal breaker questions.  The final three to make it through were Jessica, Kendall, and Monica.  At this point, his friend got to ask questions of the girls, then it was broken down to the final 2 women of Jessica and Monica.  Mike was then brought on stage to have a face to face with the final two women of Jessica and Monica.  After listening to what both of the women said, Mike then made his final choice in Monica.  Guess love took hold cause before we knew it, Mike was down on one knee and a proposal happened, to which Monica agreed.  Holy Crap is all I got to say.....this show is the Bachelor/Bachelorette on steroids.  I am going to have to watch it once more anyways before I decide to give it an hour Monday nights or sweep it under the rug....time will tell.

I tried to find an update on Michael and Monica to no avail so either there is no news or things didn't go anywhere other than the ring back into the Neil Lane ring box backstage....  Guess I will keep an optimistic open mind for now.
