Bachelorette Season 12:
Coastal Blogs Episode 8; Four Guys, One Gal, Hometowns....OUCH
Hard
to believe that we are already at that point in the season, but tonight, the
four remaining guys; Chase, Jordan, Robby and Luke take Jojo back to their
hometowns. The first one up is:
Chase:
We
catch up with Jojo and Chase in Highland Ranch/Eastridge Colorado. There is fresh snow on the ground and they
meet up at a lookout overlooking the valley below. They sit down for some hot chocolate and a
chat before they head off to meet the family.
It is here that Chase informs her of how bad his parents divorce was and
that’s why she will be meeting her dad separately from his mom. (Even though we don’t see it now, they show
us in a deleted scene at the end of the show).
They arrive at Chase’s home where he’s able to show Jojo around before
his dad arrives. During their time
together, Jojo and his dad really seem to hit it off. Eventually Chase talks to his dad alone to
find out how things are being received.
After the dad leaves, Jojo and Chase head to his mom’s where they are
introduced to the rest of the family.
Jojo and mom head outside to chat and Jojo is able to ask Sandy about
Chase’s feelings and being able to open up and talk about them. Chase and his sister have a chance to sit
down and Chase is able to ask her what
her thoughts are....whether there is something there or not?
When
Chase is able to sit down and talk with his mom....the emotions are overflowing
for Chase. Something that we as the
audience hasn’t seen from him and to tell you the truth.....he made some major
leaps forward in my book. Before Jojo
leaves, Chase tells her that he’s falling in love with him and it obviously
took her aback as she stated that she knows that he wouldn’t of said it unless
it was true.
Jordan:;
I
may be in the minority here but getting a little tired of Jordan and all the
hoopla around the guy....this hometown date was over the top with hoopla. Between them walking around the grounds of
the school and seeing his past teachers.
To me it was over the top and just too much of a Jordan show as most of
the season has been in one way or another....isn’t Jojo the lead of the show
this season? Then came the discussion of
his brother once again....and once again, Jordan sweeps it all under the rug
too quickly....maybe just me but I really feel that he’s hiding something and I
got a bad feeling that it is Jojo that’s going to get the shaft in it all.
Next
up is the family time....they arrive at the family home and maybe because I am
looking for something that just doesn’t add up, but once again, I got the
feeling that there are some serious family secrets and to me, Jojo is being
left out of the loop...not really a great way to begin a relationship. Jojo sat down with Jordan’s dad for a
chat. Once again, I didn’t walk away
from that chat with a warm fuzzy feeling so it will be interesting to see what
happens. For Jojo to be that
scared....and that at unease, there’s a reason for it....listen to it. If it is the right thing absolutely....it won’t
be a scarey thing....it will be something that would feel so easy and right.
Robby:;
Jojo
and Robby have their hometown in St Augestines, Florida where they first
partake in a carriage ride. They see
different sights of the town before stopping off at a cafe on the
waterfront. They are able to sit town
for a chat about his past girlfriend and where they are at now before heading
to his parents for the night portion of the date. They headed to Jacksonville for the family
portion where Jojo met his other two brothers, his mom, dad, and his two
sisters. Jojo sat down with his mom for
a chat while Robby sat down with his brothers.
When Jojo had a chance to talk to her, she mentioned to Robby`s mom of
how she`s starting to fall in love with Robby.
At the end of their chat though, she knew that she had to sit down with
Robby to chat about the “talk on the street”
about how Robby’s ex roommate is making up stories of how Robby broke up with
his ex just to go onto the show. This of
course sets off Robby cause now he knows he has to get this straightened out
right now. This of course gets Jojo
questioning things and you can see she’s getting more upset by the minute. When all was said and done, Robby tells her
that the relationship was over 9 months before it actually ended in December
and he wants absolutely nothing to do with her again.
Luke:
The
two of them meet up and have a chance to walk around and talk a bit before
heading off to meet the family. It is
his mom, dad, sister, nephew and some lifelong friends. After the introductions were all done, they
sat down for a good ole fashioned barbeque.
After their family time, Luke and Jojo took a horseback ride to a
private area where they went to watch the sunset. After talking for a while, he showed her one
more “surprise”.....a heart in flowers on the grass.
The
rose ceremony was at an airport hanger where once again we have another to be
continued night....sheesh....enough is enough.
Wonder if the producers are listening and next coming years there will
be NO to be continued episodes. Lets
start and finish an epi per show...that seems to be a strange concept lately.
When
Jojo shows up for the ceremony though....Luke is the one to take her aside
right away to tell her that he actually loves her. For the life of me, I don’t know why he
couldn’t tell her that during the hometown date that they had but.....
In
the end though....it is enough to put her over the edge and that the epi ends
right there with her going off the handle with emotions......
Well,
that’s all for another week. Next week though
is the fantasy dates and the Men tell all.....guess with Chad returning, it
will make it an interesting one on it’s own.

Coastal Blogs Episode 6: Buenos Aires and Another Two on One...
Well, tonight
was a first for The Bachelorette/Bachelor as for the first time ever, there was
more than one 2 on 1 date in a season.
First we see Jojo
doing the customary walkabout Buenos Aires followed by her chat with Chris,
then we switch to the guys arrival and Harrison telling the guys that there
will be another 2 on 1 date in this episode.
After the guys arrive at their hotel and check it out, they find the
date card. Opening it up, it’s Wells who
gets the first date. Wells admitted to
the guys that he hadn’t kissed Jojo yet and as we know, he’s the only one that
hasn’t with this bunch of guys. Wells
and Jojo walked the streets on their way to the date locale where they are
taught to play act and swim on film.
Yep, that’s about the most description that you are going to get from me
on that. Anyways, when their lessons
ended, they had a chance to go out for dinner.
Meanwhile,
the next date card arrives and the guys find out that Chase and Derek do have
the 2 on 1. I must say, the whole date
was akward and quite obvious that Jojo just wasn’t feeling it with him and as
such, he was sent home without a rose.
The next day,
Jojo and the guys meet up before they go walking through the street market and
eventually they find a soccer game in progress and jump in. After the guys finished playing, they had a
kick off/goal scoring to see who would win a kiss with Jojo. Later Jojo and the guys headed out for the after
party. Luke is the first one to steal
her away for some private time where they really got hot and heavy with the
makeout session. Next up to talk to her
was James who let her know that he felt that Jordan feels “entitled” to
whatever is coming his way. This of
course got Jojo’s nerve going again and promptly wisked Jordan away to talk to
him about it. You can see that Jordan
feels that she is wasting his time talking about this stuff and also he is very
frustrated. When he got back with the
other guys, you could literally see steam pouring out his ears, and even the
other guys there knew that things didn’t go well in Jordan’s chat with
Jojo. At the end of the date, Jojo
handed out the date rose to Luke.
The next day
was the 2 on 1 date....and drama of course.
The guys meet up with Jojo and then they walk into a dance hall of sorts
where they find out that they will be learning the tango...for 3. Afterwards, they head out to dinner. Throughout the date, Derek was assuming and
so sure that he’d be the one with the rose at the end. First, Jojo takes Derek aside where they chat
briefly before it turning into kissing.
The next one to chat with Jojo was Chase. It was tense in the beginning of their chat
as she admitted that she wasn’t feeling as much from Chase that she was feeling
for him. Once he realized that was the
case, he started opening up and confessing how he was feeling for her. When all was said and done, it was Chase who
got the rose and stayed to dance with Jojo to Soledad Pastorutti singing “Don’t
Cry for me Argentina”.
At the
cocktail party, Jojo took everyone aside to talk to them and as she stated, she
was hoping that it would make things easier when in fact things got harder. During the rose ceremony, she handed out roses
to Robby, Jordan, Alex before picking up a rose and then leaving the room. When she came back, Harrison walked in with
two roses....this meant that no one left at the rose ceremony and 6 guys head
to the next location.

Costal Blogs Episode 5 - Overseas Dates Begin
Finally we are back to our weekly stable of The Bachelorette on Monday night.
First
off tonight, they return to the Chad drama story and at the Nemacolin
lodge where Chad makes his return to the lodge to confront the guys one
more time. Talk about drama for the hell of it....sheesh!!
There
wasn't a cocktail party for epi 4 but when all was said and done with
the rose ceremony; besides Luke, Jordan and Alex who had roses going
into the ceremony, roses were also handed out to: Derek, Robby, Chase,
Wells, Grant, Vinny, James T, and Evan which meant that James F and
Daniel were sent home at the rose ceremony.
Next up....Jojo and the guys jet off to Punta del Este, Uruguay where more drama ensues.
The
first one to get an individual date is Jordan. They head off on a boat
cruise that takes them to one of the local islands famous for being
able to swim with seals. From there, they went to dinner. During their
dinner though, conversation took a serious note as Jojo had to ask some
questions with regards to what she found out about Jordan from a former
girlfriend. Apparently Jojo was told that Jordan just isn't a good
boyfriend and that there were other reasons to give her pause with
regards to Jordan. In the end though, she did giive him a rose.
Next
up is the group date. Jojo took the guys; Alex, Chase, Derek, James,
Luke, Wells, Grant, Evan and Vinny on a group date sand surfing. Looked
like they had a blast that is until it started raining. From there
they went to an after party where the date turned into a kissing frenzy
between her and a lot of the guys ending in Jojo handing the date rose
out to Derek.
The last individual date of the week was
with Robby. They did a tour of Punta del Este before partaking in cliff
jumping. They topped off the night having dinner where Robby tells her
that he's in love with her. They finished off the night watching
fireworks.
Jojo cancelled the cocktail party and chose
to go directly to the Rose Ceremony where roses were handed out to Luke,
Chase, Alex, James T, and Wells. This meant that Evan, Grant and Vinny
were sent home.
Well, we are back to our normal
schedule and next week we will join Jojo and the guys in Buenos Aires
for another drama filled night. Here I was thinking that once Chad was
gone, the drama would back off....well, not so much. LOL. Until next

Blogs Episode 3 and 4 of The Bachelorette
I don’t
even know where to begin......These two episodes were so mixed up. If I was to include all the drama that
happened, I’d already be on page 6 so as it is, I will try to just point out
the details and highlights.
First off,
let me just say that all this “to be continued” crap is getting really
annoying. I remember during Chris Soules
and Kaitlyn’s seasons those points were made to production and they said that
they wouldn’t do it anymore. Well, they
are up to their old tricks again and none of it is amusing, IMO. Not only was episode 3 a “to
be continued” epi but so was episode 4….and to make matters worse, now we have
to wait 2 WEEKS to find out more. OK,
now getting down off that soap box….just to jump onto another one….LOL. Chad, AKA meathead….how in the world can you
go through life in the format that we are seeing on this show? According to your bio Chad, you are twenty-eight,
but let me tell you, you haven’t really been through much in your life in order
to still act the way you do at this age.
OK, back down off of soap box 2.

EPISODE 3:
The first one to get a date this week was Chase. Chase and Jojo went on a “hot yoga” date
where they learned how to connect through the yabi yabi. Let’s just say I am not a yoga kind of girl
but will also say that Chase and Jojo did connect as they shared their first
kiss in the yabi yabi position. Next
they went to the Triunflo Creek Winery where they shared some dinner and more
time to chat before Jojo offered Chase the rose. Jojo wasn’t done though and had one more
surprise up her sleeve in the form of a private concert for the two of them
with Charles Kelley.
Next up was a group date of epic proportion which put
Chad, na, that’s not right, Chad put himself I the middle of a hornet’s nest
with his stupidity and maybe nativity in reading the situation. Of course him getting by Evan as Evan was
getting back to his seat, then turning around and yanking back on Evan’s shirt
and ripping it was one thing, but the bodily threats that were made to both
Evan and other guys bordered on the insanity of the situation. Ok, just about jumped back on that box again…. When the Sex talks show was done, the group
headed off for an afterparty which also due to Chad was very tense once again. By the end of the night, Jojo gave the rose
to Evan.
For the last date of the episode, Jojo and James
Taylor partook in 40’s swing dance lessons.
When they finished with their lesson, they took it to the street where
they joined in a dance session. Later
the two went to a lookout overlooking the city of LA and Jojo gave James the
rose. To finish off the night, James
serenaded Jojo and they shared a few kisses.
Instead of a cocktail party, there was a pool party
and once again, Chad tried to make everything about what he wanted and the rest
of the guys were just baggage in his way.
Needless to say, more threats of bodily harm were issued by the end of
the day.
For the rose ceremony; besides Chase, Evan and James
who already had roses, roses were handed out to: Grant, Derek, Jordan, Luke, Robby, Wells,
James F, Vinny, Alex and booooo to Chad as well. This meant that Ali, Christian, and Nick were
sent packing.
EPISODE 4:
Jojo and the guys left the mansion and began their
journey. Their first stop was at the
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort where the first date of the week found Jojo and Luke
on their first individual date. They
went on a mush ride through the woods to their outdoor hot tub. Later the two enjoyed some dinner where Jojo
gave Luke a rose before having their own concert by Dan and Shay.
The group date this episode was a football date at
Heinz Field. Jordan had the advantage
this time with his football history. The
guys were divided into teams and played against each other with the winners
getting more time with Jojo and the losers being sent back to the resort
early. At least this date was “stress
free” since Chad wasn’t on it. All of
the guys had a chance to chat with Jojo before she handed out the group date
rose to Jordan.
Next up was the 2 on 1 date. And the “hell” date for Jojo as she had to
hang out with Chad again. The three of
them walked off into the woods towards the river where they sat down for a
picnic before Jojo took Alex aside for a chat first. When Jojo learned though that Chad threatened
the guys and most recently Jordan that morning, she gave the rose to Alex. This of course sends Chad over the deep end….after
Jojo and Alex headed off together, Chad made his way back to the resort. The last we see, he is standing on the
outside, knocking on the door…..and another “to be continued” occurs.
Well, I will be back in 2 weeks when we have our next
episode on June 20th. Until

Episode 5 Preview:
Episode 2: And The Drama Begins
The dates and the drama begins. Tonight is the start of the dates for the season and as eluded to, it wasn’t short on the drama effect neither. Let’s just say that Chad became the king of drama tonight.
There were 2 group dates and an individual date, beginning with a twelve on one that involved heat and firemen. Ali,
Daniel, Evan, Grant, James F, Luke, Robby, Vinny, Wells and Wil were on
the first group date with Jojo where they were put to task completing
firemen drills.
Meanwhile,
back at the “ranch”, yo-yo Chad was making a fool of himself once
more....he attached his suitcase to his waist and proceeded to do pull
ups.
First up, all the guys competed in hose
hauling, door opening and ax drills before it coming down to the final
three that would have to compete head to head with the winner getting
more alone time with Jojo. Luke,
Grant and Wells competed head to head in three tasks; putting out a
fire, opening a door, axing a hole in some wood, then getting to the top
of the tower to get Jojo. Grant was the winner; let’s face it, not much of a shocker since he’s a firefighter in real life.
For the night portion of their date, they went to Level One Luxury Rentals for their after party. Here
is where Grant and Jojo had their extra time together where they shared
a kiss before joining the guys for the rest of the night.
Back
at the mansion, the next date card arrives and the guys find that it is
for Derek who is able to enjoy an individual date the next day.
The first to get some alone time with her is Wells. He shared some pics with her, followed by James S, Vinny, Evan, Robby and finally Luke. They spent a fair amount of time together and shared a kiss upon the end of their chat. When all was said and done, it was Wells who got the group date rose.
For their individual date, Jojo arrived at the house and picked up Derek. From there, began a date of choices. The first choice is sky or sea, they chose sky....arriving to the airport, they again had to choose....north or south. They chose north. After a short flight, they look out to see San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge ahead of them. The next choice was Golden Gate Bridge or Lumbar Street. They chose the bridge and when they arrived, they had a picnic at the park near the bridge. Here is where they had their first kiss of the day.
Back at the mansion, the next date card arrives. Alex, Chad, Christian, James T, Jordan, and Nick B. Time to prove your love to me and the nation. Immediately Chad starts with his drama of the night....I am already done and done with this dude.
Jojo and Derek are sitting around having their dinner and wine and chatting. They talked about past relationships, closing themselves off, etc. By the end of their chat, Jojo gave him the rose and they shared some more kisses by the water fountain.
The guys arrived at ESPN Sports Nation set and found Jojo on the set with the announcers. This
is when the guys find out that they will be put to task in a series of
challenges where they will be power ranked by the end. Can I say, I am already getting tired of Jordan and his brother’s football notoriety....getting a little old already. The tasks in this date are: “strike
a rose” a celebratory dance; “eye on the prize” guys put their forehead
on a bat, twirl around 10 times, then make a good proposal to Jojo –
this is the most controversial one as Chad calls Jojo naggy....not a
good move. Maybe Chad isn`t as mature as he thinks he is?? The third is the “press conference” where Jojo and a guy sits at the table and answers the announcers questions. Of course Chad sits there and mouths off big time about the guys, the date and Jojo again. No
surprise there, this guy is so done as he can’t grasp the simple
concept of the date….having fun and joking around – not being serious,
yet this dude is acting like he is 2 with his temper and trashy
nature….Yep, not holding nothing back with regards to this dude. The guys were power ranked first to third being James T, Chad, Alex. During the after party, James T was first up to talk to Jojo. He
wrote her a few words of who he is and what he’s wanting followed by
them having some time to chat and a kiss to finish it off. Then came Alex, Christian, Nick, Jordan and finally Chad(Ick, he got a kiss too), but the one to get the rose was James T.
For the Cocktail party, the proverbial “shit is gonna hit the fan” was the name of the game for that night for sure. Chad was outside waiting for Jojo to arrive and stopped her before she was able to even get in the house. Luckily
it was Chase that was able to steal her away for some fun and levity to
begin the night as he treated her to a bit of his home with a snowfall
and beer mini date. The two of them seemed to really hit it off well as Jojo took a timeout on Chase’s lap for some snuggle time. Through
the night, Chad managed to stop stuffing his face with food long enough
to steal Jojo from the guys a minimum of three more times through the
night and one of the times was during Alex’s time with her….not a good
move buddy. Most of the night got filled up with drama revolving around Chad in one form or another.
In
the end, besides Wells, Derek and James T, roses were handed out to
Alex, Christian, Robby, Luke, Chase, Jordan, Grant, Ali, Daniel, James
F, Nick, Vinny, Evan and Chad(god forbid, he’s around for another week).

Coastal Blogs Episode 1
Well, another season begins with Jojo as the returnee. As per normal for the first night, there were the drunks who didn't know what stunts they were doing...AKA swimming in a pool in your underwear to interrupting Jojo while she is in an ITM. All in all, she did have a good amount of time with a lot of the guys before making her decision.
All in all, there's not much to say right now. I will return for next week's episode when the dates and hoopla begin. In the meantime, the season preview video will be posted as well as the chart for this last episode.
