Chantal Leaves in Tears; Em Gets her Fantasy Ending
Tonight’s epi began with a brief look back over the season and some of it’s highlights. As the season’s highlights progress, we get a PI of Brad stating that with Chantal, the connection has been electric, but the emotional side of her has been a rollercoaster. Then with Emily, she is one in a million, but her past intimidates him a bit.
As we catch up with Brad, he is standing outside on the balcony awaiting for his family to arrive. As he states and we soon see, he truely has missed his family and needs their help now more than ever. Brad is overcome with emotion when he finally see’s his mom Pam, his twin brother Chad and wife Dillon, other brother Wes and his wife Prima(SP?).
As Chantal arrives and is introduced into everyone, everyone seems to gel, yet there seems to be an emptiness..........maybe my feelings here but I feel that there is a bit of distance between Brad and Chantal.........not to mention the fact that we don’t see them kissing per se. During Chantal’s conversation with Chad and Wes, you can see the two of them being a little apprehensive, and I think a little taken aback by her admission of saying to Brad and the brother’s that she would marry Brad on the spot if she’s ready to get engaged, then she’s ready to get married...... During the brother’s conversation, Wes and Chad admit to Brad that they feel that Chantal is in love with him......which of course makes Brad happy. Brad also admits to the bro’s of how he would walk away again if he wasn’t feeling the way he was right then........ Then during Pam’s time with Chantal, Pam asked her how she could fall in love so quick........Chantal explained how she was married before, found out that she wasn’t happy and figured out what was missing. Through that and going into this experience, she promised herself to have an open heart and if she finds what she wants in Brad, then she will have her heart open already and just go with it. Pam confides in Chantal and says that she can see her in the real world fitting in. Pam admits that she feels that her family embraced Chantal and could see Chantal fitting in. During Pam’s conversation with Brad, Pam tells him that Chantal was very warm to her and as Brad stated, he had no concerns with Chantal meeting his family. Brad and his mom had a bit of a tender moment when Brad admitted to being so happy..........Pam agreed and said that it was in his eyes. In Chantal’s PI, she states how much in love she is with Brad and also of how in her heart of hearts, she feels she will be with him in the end..........
The next day was for Em’s turn. As Brad and the family were sitting around waiting for Emily to show, when the doorbell finally rang.........Brad jumped up and ran out to greet her. Emily shows up with a bouquet of flowers and ready for the Womack inquisition.........LOL. One thing I noticed right off the bat is that when Em was there with the parents, Brad couldn’t keep his hands off of Em.......When Chantal was there, there was an obvious distance between Chantal and Brad..........interesting......maybe the tides started turning in an obvious way at this point. Anyhow, as everyone sits down, Brad explains how when he went to Em’s hometown, he met her daughter.........As they went outside on the patio for some lunch, Wes broaches the subject as to how Ricki’s daughter would feel about Em and Ricki moving to Austin. Emily tells Brad’s family her background and you can see that it really has touched the family. The two bro’s took Emily aside to chat with her and during their conversation, Wes said that Em and her daughter would definitely have an open-armed welcome for the two of them waiting in Austin. During Wes’s PI, he also stated that he felt that Emily is one strong individual to go through what she has done and be as strong on the other side as she is. A very down to earth individual that is definitely in this process for the good of herself, her daughter and for Brad. Brad and the bro’s head off for a chat and they are trying to make him understand the changes that would happen in his life by having an instant family like he would have if he chose Emily...........At the end of their conversation, he definitely stated that he gets the warm fuzzies with the knowledge that he will instantly be a family man and is welcoming that change with open arms. In Chad’s PI, he stated of how he has never seen his brother light up when talking about Ricki.........at the end of the bro’s conversation, Brad stated how this woman and her daughter would make him very, very happy. Emily and Pam then take their time to have a quick chat about things and Pam states how she respects Emily for coming into this process with a daughter and being protective over her. As Emily tells Pam, seeing Brad with her daughter melted her heart and the fact that she is so over the moon in love with her and can see how both of their futures will be the better for having Brad in them. As Em said, Brad has been her angel on earth........of which you really can see Pam taken aback by those words....... Pam states in a PI, her favourite thing that Em said during their time together was that Em called Brad her angel.........Pam states that after all that Em has been through, she just wants things to work out for her. It was very obvious how close Emily and Brad’s family became during that visit...........when Em arrived, there were handshakes all around, by the time Em left, there were long and meaningful hugs, especially with Emily and Pam. As Brad said good bye and sent Emily on her way............he needs the thoughts from his family to help him make his decision.
Wes starts the family conversations off with looking at both women and discecting how things might go from the start: With Chantal, it could be some travelling and looking around before settling down........with Emily, Brad is jumping into a full blown family situation.............As Wes states: Fun loving on one hand, and a rooted down reality on the other. During the sister/law conversations, they are right, they would probably have more in common with Emily in the beginning because of Ricki, yet they do like Chantal as well. As Prima stated it, Chantal just wouldn’t get it in their world because of not being a mother and that’s the only reason....... During Brad and Pam’s conversation........Pam states how she felt that with Emily, Brad couldn’t keep his hands off of her and also calls Em the whole package. It was so obvious watching how much the family fell in love with Emily as well. As Brad states in a PI, he definitely needed his familie’s opinion, yet if he is to be honest with himself, he does still have feelings for both women.
Up Next...............Brad and Chantal’s last date
As Brad states in his PI, after his family met both women, they think that Emily will be the one.......yet I am here with Chantal as I still have feelings towards her and there is a lot on the line with her today. The two of them head out in a boat charter sightseeing for whales and sharks. Once they are out in the bay, they see sea lions and................ a great white shark. Brad tells her that is what they are doing today........swimming with the sharks. As more chum and bait gets added to the water, you can see how squeamish Chantal is getting.......As they both climb into the shark cage and go below the water, a monsterous shark shows up. As they come back up on the boat, Brad pops the cork on some champagne and they toast to conqueoring another fear. As Brad states in a PI, when he looks at Chantal, he see’s excitement.
As we are at Chantal’s room, Brad shows up and the once again toast to the day that they shared.....Chantal states in a PI of how she is over the moon in love with this guy and she doesn’t know what he’s going to do which scares her silly. They are sitting on the couch together, but it is obvious to me as I look back on it, there is definitely a distance between them that is very obvious since Anguilla. Chantal brings out the gift that she made for Brad..........a hand-drawn map of their destinations together thus far, also a letter from her that tells him what’s in her heart. You can tell the map touched him, but as he states in a PI, he is still feeling for Chantal, yet feels so much for Em.....
Up Next............Emily and Brad’s last date
As Brad is sitting there waiting for Emily to show up, he is mulling over his feelings in a PI and says that his date was great with Chantal........he also states how his family feels that Emily is the one that I need/would fit better with. As Emily and Brad board the heli for a tour over South Africa, they head out to Cape Point.........where the heli lands and they get a chance to get out and take in the sights around them. During their time in transit in the heli, we get a PI from Emily as to how she is definitely in love with Brad and has finally found the one that she could spend the rest of her life with. As they head out to their picnic area, we get a PI from Brad stating how far his relationship with Emily has come.....it started off really slow but is so confident about his feelings. They get back into the conversation of him becoming an instant father and she is really wanting to know if he is really UNDERSTANDING this........In a PI, Emily states how she is painfully insecure and really wants to make sure he understands how she feels about things.
Back at Emily’s, they sit down on the couch.........after several attempts at getting comfortable there, Brad brings up the subject of Ricki again. Brad states how he is wanting her to be open enough to actually be a real father to Ricki...........Emily takes it a step farther (maybe too far) but she really knows what Brad see’s things as. Brad states that he feels being a father is the unconditional love, the standing by the child, being a disciplinarian when needed, being there to help them when needed......Brad is trying to be real sincere, and serious.........IMO, Em seems to be pushing things, but on the other hand, it is her daughter that she’s worried about.........you got to expect a woman to be worried as that when there is a child involved. During Brad’s PI at the end of the visit, he says that there is two things that he could of told Em tonight........one was that he loved her, the other was how he wanted to be a dad.....he definitely feels shot down and the date was making him question everything.
Decision day...................
The morning of the rose ceremony finds Brad waking up and questioning his feelings for each of the women and what he finds attractive in each, and ultimately what he wants when he evaluates things at the end of the day. With Emily, she is the quintessential southern belle, a woman that is beautiful, engaging, and with Emily, he wants to be the family man, the provider, but he doesn’t know if Emily is ready for someone to take that step with her.......... With Chantal, he sees a life full of excitement, he felt comfortable, is himself, a lot of laughter, intense passion, and he pictures a damn good life with Chantal.
Chantal: Brad is the one of a kind guy, he’s sweet, he’s fun, he’s all those things wrapped up into one, When she looks at him, there is no one else for her.
Emily: She’s definitely in love with Brad, been real hard for her to open up, for her to be at this point when she thought she’d never be there and love someone like this again, is really hard on her and she really hopes that she doesn’t end up heartbroken in the end.
Brad carries on to say that the last time he did this, he was no where as invested emotionally as he is now. He’s completely exhausted from all of the emotions and he has to decide between two incredible women. He is really hoping that he doesn’t shut down again. Brad carries on to say that he has used up every second that he has been given in this process and has fallen madly in love.........when you know, you know..............
Neil Lane shows up with the assorted rings for Brad to ponder over. As Brad is pondering over the rings, he realizes that this is the first time that he’s done this with intent. He is going to ask someone to be his wife........... As he chooses the ring he wants, he goes into a small explanation to Neil about the history of Brad on the show, and you can see the tension in his eyes. This ring choosing has really sunk in. As he states, he knows that he is making the right decision.........it is the best gutt feeling that he’s ever had in his life. As both women are getting dressed and letting out their fears of what will happen, whether they end up with Brad or have to go back to their life alone. We see Brad dressed and heading off to the Rose Ceremony site. First Chantal leaves the hotel and describes how she is feeling, then Emily does the same.......
Chantal arrives first.................
As Chris meets her at the limo and walks her through the winery and out the other side to where Brad is waiting for her, Brad makes his speech and it is obvious that Chantal is taking it hard. I think we all know how that speech will go as we’ve seen similar speeches over and over through the history of this show........ After they have had their private time, Brad walks her back up to the limo and closes the door. As the limo takes off, we see Chantal broken hearted......I have always hated this part, no matter who is in that limo!
Up Next............Emily and the proposal
As Emily pulls up in the limo and Chris walks her to the back of the winery......you can see how nervous she is. Meanwhile standing up there waiting for her, Brad is smiling away. As Emily walks to Brad, you can tell he is taken aback after seeing her. After getting his breath back, he sets in for the speech that he had been practicing.......He carries on to say that he has waited 38 years to find the woman that he wanted to take a chance on and try to make things work.........all it took was coming here to find you. You are more than a leap of faith, you are my IT Em, the once in a lifetime one........He asks to be allowed to be her protector, best friend and her forever. He then tells her that he loves her, truly loves her and wants to be there forever. He then kneels and proposes to her of which she gladly accepts. After the formalities are done, we are shown a montage of their “relationship” portrayed to the song “Marry Me”.
For the After the Final Rose section of their story, it is a pretty typical one........Chantal is brought out, and her story is told in a montage, then Brad is brought out to confront her and any questions she has. He kinda fumbled his way through it as you can tell he didn’t really want to either do it or was having problems understanding the questions that Chantal rose. Brad finally realized that Chantal is still having a hard time with this to the point that she felt used. She really wanted to know the truth...........at the end, we were told that Chantal is dating someone right now and is carrying on with her life on her own.
Then Brad and Chris talked briefly about how things have been since the days in SA. Brad admits that there have been some rocky roads for the two of them since the finale. As Brad states, he feels more strongly to Emily than he did on the finale day.....she is the most kind, genuine human being than he has ever known. Chris and Brad then let the cat out of the bag regarding the possibility of actually having the AFTR Ceremony back in Anguilla and transforming it into a marriage ceremony on the spot. As Chris says, obviously that isn’t happening today, but then Brad says that it has been a rollercoaster for the last few months with all the tabloid stuff and all the other crap that comes with this show. Brad admits that he can take things out on her, as she is doing with him because of the demands of remaining quiet, they don’t see each other much and it does put a tremendous strain on the relationship........as Brad stated, sweet little Emily can be real tough! Chris goes on to say that even through the tough patch that they are currently facing........in Brad’s mind does he still feel engaged to this woman. Of course Brad answers yes.
Chris brings out Emily and it is obvious that there is still a lot of feelings towards the other one. The looks that they share, the little had grabs, lots of different signs that they are actually close to each other versus playing the part.........IMO anyways. When asked by Chris, yes, she admits that not everything has been all roses, but she is really confident in how she feels about him, that she loves him, and that she really feels that they are a couple. When Chris asked if she was ready to get married right now, she said no..........this took the crowd by surprise..........Why it would takes me by surprise. Sheesh, they just “came out publically” and the crowd is surprised that she isn’t ready to go to the alter at this second. Gimme a break! I think it is great that she wants to try to do a few real life things first......with a kid, that makes the most sense to me. Then when asked if she could move to Austin today, she replies no..........again this takes the crowd aback.........come on, the lady is first out in public with the guy after several months of keeping things private, she has a child to think of, and she really wants to make sure things are right. Now IMO, I can see them doing a lot of visits in real short period of time and if they all work out right, then of course, I can see her making that move. Just give them a chance folks...........sheesh!! As Emily states..........She knew it wouldn’t be the let’s watch Emily and Brad fall in love show, but she really didn’t think he would give them so much material to work with..........this of course gets a laugh out of the crowd.
Chris trying to play the physiatrist position tonight is trying to find out why Emily is having such a hard time with this and what drives her to sabotage her own engagement?? When Emily admits that she’s been down the road of love before and lost it, it worries her that she’ll loose it again. This is one of the obstacles that has been plaguing her while watching the season. Then Brad seriously looks at her and says that she won’t loose his love, not ever! They both admitted to having tempers and having fights about what is “reality tv” and what is actually “their reality”. IMO, It really seems that a lot of the problems are arising out of Emily’s insecurities as to the strength of Brad’s commitment to her, of his faithfulness to her during the filming, and where their strengths are now in the relationship. Bottom line, they both admit that they have been alone for a while now, that they both don’t really want to “give in” during an argument or fight, and the only really regret that Brad can come up with other than the forementioned, is that he regrets if he has come across to her in any other format than absolute love. Chris then asks Emily that in her heart of hearts, can she really see herself getting married to Brad?? As Emily states, she loves him a lot, has never felt like this for anyone else before, can’t really see herself living life without him so yea, she will marry him one day.
This is when Trista/Ryan, Jason/Molly, and Ali/Roberto are brought out to tell the new couple of the stresses that will happen, of how to try to find ways around things and to trust in each other. Molly is the first one to really speak up and says that it is hard to ignore the blogs, to not see what is written of them, but the main thing is to concentrate on what they have together, to concentrate on Ricki and to move forward from there. Ryan and Trista then got in on it when Ryan said that in actual fact, a way to think about this process is to say that someone set you up with the best guy possible......you just got to go through a little crap along the way. Stick it out, find out what works for you and make the spark and connection work for you. Trista was saying the same thing. She brought in the fact that yes, they met on a reality show, but it is what they did with the relationship after the show is what counts the most. Both Roberto and Ryan came up with some great advice.........Roberto said that in a way, you have to put your relationship under the glass and protect what is sacred to the two of you then work at things from there. Meanwhile Ryan is saying that during this process, you were on a cruise ship and everything was taken care of, now you are being thrown into a life raft and forced out onto the stormy seas.........you can see that island just ahead, but now is the time that you need to stick together to make it there..........that is where he and Trista stood strong together. Other couples haven’t as they let the outside forces tear them down.
After the couples left the stage, Chris played the proposal for the new couple as this will be the first time they have seen it. You can tell that it is hitting both of them watching it again. At the end of their viewing their engagement, Brad once again places the ring on her finger and re-iterates how much he loves her and she with him.

Bachelor: Women Tell All
I am back again to blog the women tell all..........the only problem was...... I missed the first ten minutes of the show but will try to carry on from then.
When I caught up with the show, they were talking about the new season of the Bachelor Pad coming back this summer. There was a reunion party in New York that was filmed and shown during the women tell all. There were some notables shown like Chris L, Craig R, Kasey from Ali’s season, Ashleigh Hunt, Rozlyn, Gia and Vienna from Jake’s season, Wes, Gwen, Jake, Sarah from Brad’s first season, Nikki from Jason’s season, Erica Rose, Suzie from Jesse Palmer’s season, Krisily from Bach Pad and Charlie O’Connel’s season...................... Then the one in LA had Brian from DeAnna’s season, Natalie from Jason’s season, Vienna from Jake’s season, Bettina from Brad’s first season, Ali and Roberto, and John from Jillian’s season.
The ladies that attended were: Alli, Britt, Marissa, Ashley H, Jackie, Raichel, Ashley S, Meghan, Shawntel, Sarah P., Lisa M., Melissa, Michelle, Madison and Stacey.
After the ladies were introduced, we were “treated” to a clip of the behind the scenes with some of the ladies nastiness thrown in. After the clip ends, Chris gets a word in edgewise and comes up with one of the one liners that he’s used in the past............. “For a host, this is a buffet”. Lisa is the first one to come to Michelle’s defense........or at least she tried by saying that Michelle’s sense of humour is out there and it is easy to take her the wrong way............ then the other women got defensive and were saying that some of the things said were not only hurtful but were absolutely wrong. Jackie even equated her to a spider..........creepy and scarey to be around. Something tells me that this will turn into another Michelle episode.........
The first one in the hotseat tonight was Melissa and they were discussing the Melissa / Raichel feud. It’s the same thing over and over..............she said/she said..............no solutions except another 10 minutes of drama of course........LOL. The last words that Melissa said though is that she apologized to Raichel for not getting along.........Chris Harrison was beginning to feel like he was having a “moment” there, so he asked Raichel if she wanted to apologize and of course she said yes, but not to Melissa but to America for how she acted............good grief............Sorry Chris, that “moment” flew away all too quick.
Up next.................the Michelle show starts.
So Michelle comes down to the hot seat and of course Chris was trying to warm things up a bit and smooth things over, but as the conversation started flowing....or the yelling started, I should say.........things took a nasty turn. Michelle went on about feeling guilty for leaving her daughter.....crying bunches and bunches worth of Kleenex and when the other women called her out on it.....Chris shut them down..............Really, really?? Bottom line, it ended up being the drama filled “*****-show” for a big part of the time.
Ashley S was the next one in the hot seat. Although not much was actually said from her other than how it hurt to be let go, and the fact that not much was said at her departure from Brad so she is wanting some closure.
During Ashley H’s time in the hot seat, another clip was shown from her departure and we hear Brad say that up until recently, he thought she might be the one for him, but at the very least, he thought she would meet his family. Until that clip was shown, she honestly still had doubts as to exactly how Brad was feeling for her. Now those questions are answered. Ashley claimed that they had an unspoken connection..........she finally admits that she was in love with Brad and of how she should of said it when given the chance.
Up next..................Brad
So Brad did his dutiful answers with both Ashley S & H, and with Ashley H, it appeared that she finally felt closure. With Ashley S, she got some more compliments from Brad and therefore, appeared to have closure as well. There was also a clip shown of Brad and Chris visiting the school in South Africa, and how the Bachelor “family” is giving back to the community where the filming took place. In Africa, they gave the school there hot water, which is a commodity that we all take for granted here......now they have it in their own yard. After that clip, we were shown a bloopers clip. It was really funny but seemed shorter than in other years??
After Brad left the stage, we were shown clips of Chantal and Emily...............Wonder who it will be??
Things noticed:
Jackie was definitely loose with her words and criticism tonight.......
Michelle and some of her crocodile tears.......
In some respects, the ladies were respectful of each other..........Michelle being the scapegoat for all.

Fantasy Dates and the Wildlife of South Africa
Tonight's epi started in New York
with Brad packing his bags once again in preparation for making the journey to
South Africa where he will have the fantasy dates with the three remaining
women. In his PI he is talking of how he is feeling anxious, nervous and excited
because at the end of this week, there will be two remaining women that will
meet his family. He also goes on to explain that this time is going a whole lot
better than last time and that also tends to make him feel apprehensive as he
really doesn't want to shut down like last time and end up all alone again,
considering his trust issues, he feels that he has gotten a lot farther in this
journey with an open heart and mind......he wants to continue doing that.
As Brad boards the plane for South Africa(SA), he is talking about each of the women and the strong connections that he is having with each of the women.

Brad says that there has always been speedbumps along the way with Ashley and there has always been questions from her as to the amount of feelings that they have for each other and Brad still questions the feelings that she has as sometimes she feels disconnected and with all of these questions, he begins to wonder where Ashley's heart is and it scares him a bit.
Emily: Emily is one in a million and he is acting like himself around Emily but a much better self and he has Emily to thank for that. Brad has always felt that he wanted to find a truely sweet woman to spend his life with and Emily is that woman. Now the questions start......her past intimidates him a bit as not only has she lost her fiance in a plane crash, but she is also a single mom. As Brad states, joining a family is a huge step for any man, it sets the bar high and he is nervous about it.
As the plane touches down in SA and Brad is escorted to his lodge, they arrive at the Lions Dance Private Game reserve, and makes his way through the River Lodge to his suite, we are seeing the wildlife of SA and the natural beauty that it has. When he thinks of the three remaining women, he sees a future with them and he really believes that one of the women will be his wife.

Up Next............Chantal's Saffari Date
Tonight's date with Chantal began with Chantal waiting for Brad to pull up on the jeep. Brad is out on the Sabi Sands of SA heading to pick up Chantal. Once Brad arrives, they had a kiss and embrace before boarding the Jeep in preparation for their Saffari date. While Chantal is waiting, we get a PI from her stating how she can't wait to spend the day with Brad as everytime they are together, she is falling deeper and deeper in love with him.
As they continue on their Saffari Tour, Brad states in a PI of how not ten minutes out of the gate, he finds himself with a dropdead gorgeous woman on his right and a pride of lions on his left....something that he always wanted to find in Africa and as it turned out, they had a great tour and saw most of the "incredible 5". On their tour, they saw zebra's, elephants, rhino's, wildebeasts, lions, giraffes and incredible scenery to boot. They pull up and take their picnic lunch down to the river complete with an armed escort as when they arrive on the river they find that they are not lunching alone as there is a hippo in the river right behind them. As Chantal says in a PI, there aren't many people in the world that she trusts to keep her safe, but sitting there with Brad, that is exactly what she feels......safe with both of the wildlife around and her heart as she knows she needs to put both of those things in his trust to get through this process. In a continuing PI, Chantal states how she really loves Brad and that it is more than just a feeling to her, of how she wants it to be an unselfish love, of how she wants to put him first.....
After their daytime excursions, they head back to get dressed for dinner which they find served to them in the middle of the SA plains. After they get settled for dinner, they begin to talk about family and of how Chantal hopes to get to meet his family.....how important family is to the both of them and of how Brad misses her family as he truely enjoyed his time with them. Brad then tells her of how fired up he gets when he talks of family as they are so very important to him and he finds Chantal the same way and he truely admires that about her. He then tells Chantal of how he feels the most comfortable around her and is the most like himself. Chantal then describes how she sees a different side of him when it is just the two of them versus when they are around other people and she likes that side and wants to share that side of him. Then the conversation comes up of the possible engagement at the end of this all.....she then goes on to describe of how when you accept an engagement from someone, you really mean it to the point of a promise to actually marry that person one day....if you can't see yourself doing that, then why accept that engagement in the first place....... By looking at Brad during this conversation, it is obvious that he is so pleased that she feels that way. Brad then says how much he likes that about her and of how he really needs the spontaneaty in his life. Brad states in a PI of how he likes the fact that Chantal wears her heart on her sleeve, is vulnerable and owns it, and of how he feels that she is really an incredible woman. After their dinner is done, Brad hands her the fantasy date card and Chantal opens it to find a key and a note from Chris Harrison. After reading the card, Brad asks her to join him, she says that she absolutely wants to go to the suite, so Brad and Chantal proceed to walk through the plains of SA till they come across a treefort which is doubling as their fantasy suite for the night. In a PI, Chantal says you know the saying "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. So what happens in the Fantasy Suite, stays in the fantasy suite." When they get to the top of fantasy suite, they find a bed in the center with netting around it, a chaise lounge for them to sit on and as she states in the PI, It is a complete fantasy with a love story rolled into one.
Up Next.........Emily meets up with Tembo
We start their date with Brad waiting for Emily to show up......and in his PI, he states how everytime he see's Em, he lights up and he really can't wait to spend the day with her. As Emily arrives, he runs up to meet her. After their hug and kiss, Brad tells Em that he forgot something so he asks her to wait for him.......meanwhile Em states in a PI that he has had all dang day to get ready for the date....what in the world could he of forgotten that is that important......and she carries on to say how a lion could come out of the bush any moment.....her waiting is soon over when Brad arrives on an elephant to pick up Emily.
As Tembo ducks down to pick up Emily, she boards behind the guide and in front of Brad. Brad states in a PI of how cool it is to ride on the elephant, but what is more important to him is the time he is spending with Emily.....Meanwhile, you can obviously tell that Emily is flabbergasted that he would go back and get the elephant to pick her up on....As the two of them head off down the trail, they begin talking of her hometown date. In a PI, Emily states of how she introduced Brad to her daughter last week and she never would of done that unless she was very serious about being with him and she really see's a future with him. As they get to their picnic site, Brad asks Emily if her daughter really understands that he might be a part of her life. He also asks Em if she is really ready for a long term committment between them and if that would work with her daughter......Em then asks Brad if he is ready for a five year old. He does hesitate for a minute, but goes on to state how he would make every effort possible to involved little Ricki in their everyday life and that Ricki would be right there with them in everything they do. Brad and Emily then share a tender kiss to a chourus of elephants trumpeting in the background.
We then see Brad standing waiting for Em to arrive for dinner. In a PI, Em
states how Brad expressed that day that he is really ready to be a father
figure in her daughter's life and she is really ready for that to happen, and
of how important that is to her. In a further PI, Em states that she is really
hoping that she has the gutts to tell Brad how she feels about him. In the
first part of their dinner, it is really obvious that Brad is nervous...... At
dinner, Em tells Brad that she is really waiting for this to be over, that no
matter the outcome, she has to deal with it.......although she is really hoping
that they end up together and has been waiting forever for that to happen.
Close to the end of dinner, Brad states in a PI of how nervous he is as he does
have a fantasy date card with him but doesn't know how it will be received by
Em. As Brad hands Emily the card and she reads it out, it seemed obvious to
Brad by the expression on his face of how he felt that Emily would reject the
suite when she said that with being a mom and wanting to set an example....then
when she said that she would love to go to the suite to talk and get to know
more.......his face lit up. As the two of them head back to the suite, they
find their dessert waiting for them and in a PI from Emily, she says of how she
has only told one other person in her whole life that she loved him, since she
didn't have the guts to tell Brad at dinner how she felt about him, she was
hoping that she could do so in the suite. Emily tells Brad that she knows that
she is really bad at expressing her feelings for him but that is only in self
defense and she also knows that in a week or so, they could be engaged if he
chooses her.......She then tells him that absolutely 100%, she is in love with
him. Brad then expresses his feelings to Em and tells her that he is falling in
love with her too, and that he isn't going to sit there and not say anything
back when she tells him that she loves him.....he also tells her that he means
it with everything he is. Emily states in a PI of how she feels that Ricky, her
fiance, was with her to teach her how love feels like and now that Brad is in
her life, she knows they are meant to be together and that he will be her
husband.

Brad is waiting outside of the lodge for Ashley to show up. In a PI, Ashley states that her feelings towards Brad definately have changed since her hometown date and she can't wait to spend the day with him, meanwhile, Brad states in a PI of how he can see himself in her life but after the hometown date and his conversations with her parents, he finds himself questioning whether her career will be the focus and he needs those questions answered...once they have a hug and kiss, Brad takes her down the path towards the start of their date.....as Ashley rounds the corner and finds the Heli waiting for them, she immediately gets apprehensive and runs away from the heli to Brad. She then tells Brad of how scared she is flying in a heli and after a short conversation, Brad convinces her to join him and they take off. As they are flying over the plains, they reach a cliff area and fly over that as well........the locals call that area, God's Window, and then they set down overlooking the valley below. As they set up their picnic area, it is clear that they need to have some serious conversations. They begin their chat with her hometown date and how comfortable he felt there, and through their conversations it was quite evident that he found out where their relationship is going. He is finding out how career oriented Ashley really is and he doesn't know if their lives will necessarily mesh because of that. As Brad carries on to state that in all their conversations, never once have they tried to mesh their daily lives together and now he is wondering if they actually can do that. You can see that it is tearing him apart because he feels so much for her, but as the date progresses, it is obvious that there is tension building there.
As Brad is waiting for Ashley to show up for their dinner, Ashley arrives and they sit down at the table for a typical South African Feast. They begin the conversation again where they finished off this afternoon with regards to where Ashley's career is going and if it will leave enough time for the two of them to begin their lives. It is also pretty evident to Brad through the conversation that Ashley hasn't really even thought of moving to Austin and that she seems to be really concerned with remaining where she knows things best.....in south Maine. The main result of their date is that Brad feels that they keep spending so much time trying to reassuring themselves of their feelings instead of going with them and he really begins to wonder if what they have is enough.....he also feels that since she seems more career oriented, will that really fit into his life?? Brad still gives her the Fantasy Suite card to carry on their conversations in private. When they get to the suite, they find a bottle of wine waiting for them. They pop it and carry on with their conversations that they started at dinner. The longer the date went on, the more Brad realized that they are reaching a stalemate, as if the crickets in the background weren't enough of a give away. As their date ends, it is obviously that there is quite a gap between them and there are no resolutions regarding Brad's questions of the day.
Up next..........Rose Ceremony
As Brad is getting ready for the rose ceremony, we get a PI from him stating how he never thought this week would be so telling for him.....he has had some great conversations and some not so great ones, some turning points in some relationships and in general, he is realizing that he is going into his ninth ceremony and really needs to take things seriously as of now. Brad heads to the rose ceremony area to meet up with Chris in the deliberation patio area, they have a chance to sit down and reminice through the dates that they had this week. As Brad and Chris sit down in the "Deliberation Patio", we see the three women's pics there and the two of them are having their usual chat. Through their conversation, Chris asks Brad how things are going this time around in comparrison to last time and that Brad states it is completely different.....he carries on to say that he knows he is falling in love and he knows he will have a fiance at the end of this. Brad confesses to Chris that he has so many feelings towards both Chantal and Emily and after both of their hometown dates and Fantasy Suite dates, he is more sure of their connnections than ever before. As far as Ashley goes, he really didn't want to push her like that but needed to find out where they stood. As the two of them finish their conversations and Chris heads out to meet with the women, Brad is left in the room to finish his thoughts.
After joining the women at the Rose Ceremony, Brad is obviously very uncomfortable and apprehensive. He asks to speak privately to Ashley and leads her to a private area to continue their conversation from the previous day when he was trying to find out from her how much her career will play into their relationship and if they can mesh both worlds together.......again, there are a lot of uncomfortable pauses in their conversation and it is obvious that this is the end for them. As Brad tells her that he has to let her go, and then leads her to the vehicle for their final goodbye......you can tell that it is really hard for him to do this and he is completely uncomfortable with the way things are ending between them, although he states that 100%, he knows he is doing the right thing for both of them.
When Brad returns after his goodbye to Ashley, he tells us that it is really
important to him now more than ever before that he gets his final affirmation
from both of the ladies that they want to be there with him so he will proceed
with the rose ceremony.

As tonight's epi starts, Brad is
in New York reminicing on the season and the connections that he has formed
with the remaining women:
Chantal O: Brad says that Chantal isn't timmid or shy and that he has so much fun with her, she has a lot of spunk and fire which was shown on the first night that they met. He also states that she is completely different than the other women. Although he still has some questions regarding Chantal, in a lot of ways, he wants Chantal to be his wife and doesn't hold anything back when it comes to her. Brad is hoping to find a less emotional Chantal in her hometown and that they can continue forward.
Ashley H: On the very first night that they met, he knew that there was something special there. He finds Ashley to be so happy, outgoing, energetic and bubbly, but the last couple of weeks, he saw a different Ashley......one that he had doubts about so is looking forward to finding the Ashley that he once saw.
Shawntel N: Brad says that with Shawntel N, she is beautiful and unassuming......with her, there is no rollercoaster, no games and now it is even getting better.
Emily: Emily has been through a lot and the one love that she has had was killed in a plane crash. The problems that he is encountering with Emily is that she still has so much love for her ex, that it sets the bar really high for any other man that would come into her life. The other thing that Brad is concerned with is that he doesn't know how he will mesh with Ricky.....Emily's Daughter. He is wanting the opportunity though as Brad states.......Emily has everything that he wants in a wife.

CHANTAL O.:
First hometown date is with Chantal O. Brad is really hoping to find the same Chantal that he fell for on that first night.....in a PI, Chantal states how this is really big....bringing Brad home to show him what her life is like in Seattle, introducing him to her family and really hoping that all goes well today as she has already told him that she loves him and she is really hoping that they can carry onto the next step. Chantal is waiting for Brad in the park when he pulls up.....he starts running to her and she does the same....after a long hug, they set down to talk. As Brad states that he is nervous as he really wants her family to like him, Chantal jokes with him stating that the shoe is on the other foot now and he's on the hotseat.......if her parents don't like him, he's a gonner.......LOL. On their way to Chantal's place, Brad states in a PI of how during their last time together in Anguilla, she seemed so rattled....it is really nice to see the old Chantal back that he first fell for. As they pull up at Chantal's place, they find her dog and two cats waiting for them....they grab a beer and settle down on the couch for a nice chat, Chantal tells Brad that Bocca the dog, and Jinx and Baily the cats are a group package and they all will go where she goes. As they are talking, it is obvious that Brad has Bocca's approval considering Brad was previously warned that Bocca might take a nip out of Brad......LOL.
After their time at Chantal's, they head over to her parents place....when they pull up, we get a PI from Brad stating how huge this is for him, meeting the possible inlaws....and another PI from Chantal really hoping that this will go okay considering the last time she told her family that she loved someone was nearly 10 years ago.
As they enter the house, Brad is introduced to mom, Billy Joe(SP), dad, Micheal, brother Conner(SP)........as they all settle down for a chat, they all seem to be getting along fine and in a good mood. Then they all had a good laugh when Chantal started off the first night's meeting and BRad proceeded to tell the story of her getting out of the limo and after the introductions were made, she said this is for all the women in america, and he slapped his hands together and explained that Chantal slapped his face......her mom seemed surprised, the brother found it funny and the same for her father. Chantal and her father then went outside to have a chat......After their chat, Chantal's PI was stating of how important it is to her that she has her father's appproval......
Next, Brad and Micheal head out for a chat......as they are walking along, they come along the statue and Micheal explains it to Brad.....at that point, they get into a conversation of how Micheal's dad was a masonry and then Brad explains that his grandfather was a brick masonry as well. This is when through their discussions, Brad begins to realize exactly how close and connected Brad's and Chantal's families are.....Brad hasn't seen his father for numerous years, and that is when Micheal speaks up and says that he never saw his dad for the last 15 years before he died. Brad then states that there is one thing that is certain.....he will be a damn good father to his kids......as they end their conversation, Brad still hadn't asked Micheal for his permission/approval to ask Chantal for marriage if it came to it, when Micheal himself broached the subject and stated that he might never see Brad again, or Brad and Chantal might get married, but he definately gives his approval.
Meanwhile, Chantal and her mother are talking and that Chantal is telling her the feelings that she is having for Brad and although it is scary to her, she honestly didn't know if she would have those feelings again.
A final PI from Chantal's dad states that he respects Brad, finds that Brad is very respectful for everyone and would totally be proud to have Brad as a son-in-law. With Chantal's PI, she states how important it was to get the approval from her family of which she got.........Brad's PI was saying how important it was to meet her family, get the approval he got and to know now that he would really like to be a part of Chantal's family.
ASHLEY H:
Next up, they arrive at Ashley's hometown of Madawaska, Maine.....as Ashley states in a PI, being back home makes her feel grounded and that today will be real big for them. After they meet up in the park and have a quick chat, they head towards the restaurant where she had her first job. As they sit there in the restaurant, Ashley introduces Brad to her Accadian lifestyle so to speak, the first thing that she introduces him to is a dish called Poutine......which as it happens considering that Ashley's hometown is on the Canadian border is also a good Canadian snack.....it is frenchfries with melted cheddar cheese and gravy on top of it all. If you want a real rich and filling snack.....it is really worthy of trying. Love it myself. When the waitress comes to take their order, she is speaking to BRad in French....since they are along the Canadian border in the east, it is natural that French and English languages are both observed, no matter what side of the border you are on. Anyways, Brad tries to answer the waitres by saying Si`, in a PI, Brad states how he is answering her question by saying yes....problem was, he was answering in Spanish instead of in French. After a few laughs, the poutine order is in and they are back to their general chit chat.
Ashley nearly has a fit when she see's Brad digging into the poutine with a fork........the truely best way is to eat it with your fingers.....it's the half of the fun of the dish. She then picks up a frenchfry to feed to him and of course he has to open his mouth wide to get it in and states that she found the crown in his mouth, of which he replied.......spoken like a true dentist.......some more laughs ensued before they were done their poutine and carried onto their next adventure on their date.
Next they end up at a seafood shop to pick up some Maine lobsters, then onto the outdoor farmer's market of sorts where they pick up the rest of their supper ingredients along with another lesson for Brad......paying for their veggies through the honour system and dropping money into the drop box provided. As they continue along their journey to her parents house, they find the Madawaska sign and after some promptu photo shoots, they head along their way.
As they pull up at her parent's place, there are PI's from Ashley stating how excited and proud she is to introduce everyone, and one from BRad stating how he is thrilled to see the excited and energetic Ashley back that he fell for on that first night. Brad is introduced to her family Mom, Laurie, Dad, Mike, along with Ashley's sister, Christy. After dinner, Ashley has a talk with her father, then Ashley's dad, Mike takes Brad aside for a chat. Ashley states in a PI of how the hometown date really set things up for her and of how she is really thinking that her and Brad are meant to be. Brad then states in a PI of how he doesn't want to leave this family, this town, and he damn sure he doesn't want to leave Ashley. Ashley is the type of woman he can see himself with.
SHAWNTEL N:
Up next, they head to Shawntel N's hometown of Chico, California for a visit to the moratorrium and her family......In Brad's opening PI, he states that he has had a gutt feeling about Shawntel and how their relationship is just there, he has lots of fun with her and in Anguilla, it was so easy and natural. As they begin their tour through Shawntel's work place, you can virtually see how uncomfortable Brad is during the tour.....as they carry onto where the crypts are, the tension and uncomfortable ness is palpable. I am finding it odd that Shawntel can't pick up on it. As Shawntel is showing Brad more and more of her career and life, you can tell it is weighing heavily on him....the facial expressions as she describes things is pretty obvious to me.....
Once she leads him into the embalming room and he lays on the table, it is so obvious that this is really creeping him out as she goes on to explain her daily tasks when it comes to embalming a body. As Brad states in a PI, he really doesn't know if he can take this kind of a life on a daily basis, the life of continually discussing the death of people and what that all entails. As they leave the crematorium, in Shawntel's PI, she states how it felt so good having him there laying on the prep table and listening to her work.....she went on to describe how comfortable he seemed with the tour and process......by the looks on his face several times throughout the tour, it was extremely obvious that he was anything but comfortable there.
Next, Shawntel takes Brad to meet the family....her mom, Coleen, her dad, Rick, her sisters, Destiny and Vanessa. As the dinner progresses, we see Rick, Shawntel's dad saying how he is tired of the business and he is handing it over to Shawntel.....at this point, you can see how taken aback Brad is with the comment, leaving us with the impression that Shawntel never told Brad these plans. Shawntel realizes.......oooops, the cat is out of the bag, so she takes her father aside to talk to him about her feelings for Brad. During their conversation, it was obvious that Rick isn't impressed with the possibility that Shawntel might not carry on with the family business and it is disturbing to him......even at that, Rick did give the familie's approval to Brad at the end of the night.
As the two of them are saying their good-byes, Shawntel informs Brad that she is now in love with him and is really looking forward to their continued relationship.
EMILY:
As Brad ends his hometown date tour with Emily in Charlotte, North Carolina, he is really looking forward to the possibility of the two of them progressing in their relationship and is wondering if he will have the chance to meet her daughter Ricky.
In Charlotte, Emily and her daughter have already met up and are walking through the park on their way to meet up with Brad. When Brad finally meets up with Emily and her daughter, he sees that it is going to be a slow time to get to know the daughter. As they sit in the park having a picnic lunch, Brad tries to engage Ricky in conversation but as Brad states, she really takes after her mamma and is very shy at the beginning. Before long though, he has Ricky chasing after the butterfly kite gift and they are all having a fun time together.
As they leave the park and head to Emily's, Brad states in a PI of how he would welcome and cherrish the opportunity of becoming a father figure to little Ricky. Of how important it was to him that Emily introduced her daughter to him and of how comfortable he was in the family situation.
As they arrive at Emily's, Ricky runs up the stairs as she wants to show Brad the playroom that is set up for her. As they all sit down to play a board game, it is obvious that the shyness of Ricky towards Brad has completely worn off and they are all enjoying their time together. Once the night is over for family time......Brad is invited upstairs to say goodnight to Ricky......he jumps at the chance and climbs the stairs very enthusiastically to say his goodnight's to Ricky. It is very evident of how Ricky's enthusiasm to say goodnight to Brad has touched him.
Once Brad and Emily come back downstairs, it is very obvious that Brad is uncomfortable showing his affections towards Emily with Ricky upstairs and says as much to Emily. It has nothing to do with his feelings but rather with the reasoning that he is just wanting to show his respect towards Ricky and Emily considering their situation.......Emily states in a PI that Brad Womack ain't getting out the front door without giving her a kiss. Brad also states in his PI of how he really wants to show Emily of how he is feeling towards him but doesn't want Ricky to be uncomfortable if she wakes up and finds Brad kissing her mom. As Emily walks Brad to the door, she explains that it is okay to kiss her goodnight, so she reaches up and takes one. As they share some nice kisses before he leaves, he states in a PI.....Thank god above that this woman told me not to worry about it as kissing this woman is so damn perfect. As Emily states in her parting PI, this day was perfect and she can't wait till Brad stays with them forever.
Up next...........Rose Ceremony
They find themselves back in New York for the Rose Ceremony and Brad and Chris are sitting in their deliberation room having a chat before the ceremony.......they have a look back at the hometown dates and of the feelings that Brad has towards their time there. After a brief rundown of the hometown dates, Chris leaves Brad to welcome the women to the ceremony. After his customary speech, in walks Brad to hand out the roses:

Chantal O: 28, Executive Assistant, Mercer Island, WA
Receive the roses, leaving Shawntel N. going home. As Brad walks her out, they say their goodbyes and she carries on her way in the limo.

No Romance for Britt, Drama Queen is Finally Sent Packing
As tonight's epi begins, we are shown a tropical paradise complete with white sand beaches and beautiful blue water......it is the beautiful Island of Anguilla in the Carribean Sea.
We get some PI's from Shawntel and Ashley describing their adventure so far and how they are arriving in the tropical paradise....... They arrive on the island in a speedboat and make their way up to their villa to check everything out. Their villa, at CuisinArt Resort and Spa, is complete with a pool, patio, and hottub. As they gather in the backyard on the day bed, Chris Harrison shows up to inform the women of what will happen this week...... They will have 4 dates in total, 3 individual dates and a group date. There won't be any roses on the individual date, but on the group date, there will be a rose up for grabs. After making his customary speach, he leaves the date card on the table and takes off.
Shawntel is the first person to grab the card and read it out.......Three things I would bring to a deserted island......a picnic lunch, Champagne and Emily.......Brad. Emily is noticibly very excited and heads off to get ready for her date, meanwhile the other ladies have gathered around the pool by the time that Brad arrives. As Brad and Emily takes off for their date, Brad states in a PI of how in Costa Rico they fumbled a little bit in their relationship but Emily has everything that he is looking for in a woman and quite frankly, he doesn't think he deserves her. As they are sitting on the park bench, they are enjoying their champagne when the heli arrives. As Brad and Emily board the heli, in a PI, Brad states that he is hoping that their relationship will really take off. As they are taking a heli tour around the island, they come upon a private island, Sandy Island. Their heli lands and they walk along the beach till they come across a picnic area. As they settle in, Brad states in a PI of how this is an ideal place to tell a woman how he is feeling about her........ Brad proceeds to tell Emily that he cares more for her than he should tell her right now.... Brad carries on to tell Em that he is really falling for her, but is also wanting to take this slowly as that is how she wants it.
As they sit on the beach, you can see the sunset in the west as the moon is rising in the east.
Meanwhile back at the villa, the date card arrives......Shawntel N. let's find love on the streets of Anguilla......Brad.
Back at the beach, we see Emily and Brad walking along the beach to where their dinner is awaiting them. After they sit down and get settled, Emily states to Brad of how she really needed to hear from him of how he is feeling for her. It really made her feel special to hear these things. Emily then tells Brad of how she is really missing Ricky but knows that she needs this time to figure out who she is apart from being a mom. Then Brad broaches the subject of a hometown date and whether Em will allow him to meet her daughter......Emily tells Brad that she is over protective when it comes to her daughter and that she hasn't introduced Ricky to anyone in her past relationships and that she doesn't want to confuse her by doing that. Brad then proceeds to tell Em that it would be really huge for him to have that opportunity......Emily then states that she doesn't know how she could expect someone to ask her to marry him if that person hasn't met Ricky. Brad then states in a PI of how he wanted to reassure Em that they will have a hometown date and everything is good between them, no matter if he breaks the rules or not. Brad then proceeds to tell Em that he is liking what is happening between them and that there will be a hometown date so if she needs to make phonecalls......do it.
As they enjoy a long kiss while standing on the beach......Brad states in a PI of how this kiss tonight was more than just a kiss......
Up next.........Brad and Shawntel in Ebinezer
As Shawntel heads out to meet up with Brad, she finds him standing in front of a sign saying "Welcome to Ebinezer". After they do their usual hug and welcome kiss, they head off down the streets of Ebinezer on bikes exploring. Brad states in a PI that you learn a lot of someone by travelling with them so today's date is all about learning of their connection on a day to day basis by doing a day to day thing. As they are riding through the streets, they come across a market complete with a "band" playing the local music.....this is where they enjoy a game of domino's and meet up with a generous, nice lady called Aunt Bee..... In a PI, Brad states how he is finding Shawntel's confidence very attractive and how she really just enjoys life. In Shawntel's PI, she states how much she enjoyed being with Brad, and of how she enjoyed watching Brad interact with the locals.....he is about the all around perfect guy! After doing their walk through town, they come to a grassy area and Brad tells Shawntel that he finds conversation and just being with her very easy, of how he finds that nothing has to be forced between them. Shawntel tells Brad that she has only told 2 men in her life that she loved them.......with Brad, she feels that she is well on that path again and is finding herself falling in love with him. Brad states in a PI of how yesterday's date with Emily was so perfect and that they connected on such a deep level, that tonight's date with Shawntel will have to be very big.
As they head to their private cabbana at the Dune Preserve at Bankie Banx, they walk towards their private cabbanna for dinner. Shawntel tells Brad that she really wants him to go to Chico to meet her family, and that she is really close to her mother and asks Brad how he feels about his mother. Brad states in a PI the fact that he can talk openly and easily with Shawntel about his father blows him away and that he can't even talk to his brothers about the same things. As they are sitting there having their dinner, the rain starts pouring down.......at which time they enjoy a very romantic kiss. Brad says in a PI of how he can't really come up with a more romantic moment than this......kissing a woman in the pouring rain. Brad and Shawnel are treated to a private concert from Bankie Banxers.....a really well known group in the Carribean.
Meanwhile back at the villa, the next date card arrives...........Britt, let's set sail on the sea of love.......Brad. This of course sends Britt over the moon as this is her first one on one date with Brad. Next we get a PI from Michelle, AKA drama queen, of stating that she is jealous and that this is a complete waste of a good one on one date and of how their ship on the sea of love will go down.......good grief, does this woman ever quit??
Back on the beach, Brad and Shawntel are having a nice dance......in a PI, he
states that they have a nice romantic connection and how their time together is
special. As they leave the concert, they walk along the beach and then they
take their shirts and shoes off and go for a dip in the ocean. Brad states in a
PI of how tough this will be for him to decide who he is going to take to the
hometown dates.

The next morning, they are all waking up and Britt is getting ready for her date. Brad arrives to pick up Britt for their date. As they head down the along the beach, Brad says that he has picked up the women in Heli's, convertibles, boats, but never a yacht.....then we are seeing a huge yacht sitting in the ocean.
As the other women gather to watch them head off........ you see Brad and Britt heading out through the ocean towards the yacht. The we are given another PI from the mouthpiece/drama queen this season about how this yacht is a complete waste on Britt.....then Michelle proceeds to tell us of how she can't even see Britt and Brad friending themselves on facebook........really Michelle, don't you think you have had enough face time yet?????
After Brad and Britt board the yacht, they head out on a sail around the Island of Anguilla till they come across their own private cove for the day.....Little Bay, Anguilla. Brad proceeds to tell them what they are going to do for the day......they will be climbing the rocks and then cliff jumping into the ocean. After they get to the top of the cliffs, Brad easily jumps off and waits for Britt below. As Britt gets ready to jump, it is very obvious, her fear of jumping from the cliff. After some coaxing from Brad, she takes the leap........ When they are finished cliff jumping, they head to the beach for a chat.
Meanwhile back at the villa, both Chantal/Shawntel's are talking and tell each other how they feel, it is more like a friend relationship going between them. Then there is a knock at the door and they find the next date card awaiting them. As the card is read out, Ashley, Chantal and Michelle........This is the dawn of a new love.......Brad. Michelle then states plain and clear of how she doesn't want to go on a date with the other women and of how group dates suck.
Back at Little Bay, we get a PI from Britt stating how she is having a tough time stating how she is feeling and the thought of putting herself out there terrifies her as she is extremely afraid of rejection and admits that she really has a tough time showing her affection....... Meanwhile, Brad admits in a PI of how they are sitting around in Little Bay, one of the romantic places that he has been in the world and he really isn't feeling anything romantic towards Britt, he really doesn't have the urge to reach over and kiss her. He also hopes that tonight will be better.
As both Brad and Britt arrive back on the yacht dressed for dinner, they head up to one of the upper decks where they find their dinner waiting for them. As they are having their dinner, Brad states in a PI of how he is not feeling the romantic connection with Britt.....He then proceeds to try to tell Britt that their romantic connection isn't there and how on the last time that he did the show, he was crucified for stringing along the women, he isn't going to do that this time so has to say goodbye to her.... Unfortunately for Britt, she doesn't get it the first time and proceeds to mention to Brad of how she wants to carry on their relationship to find out if there is actually something there. Brad informs her that it won't work and that they have to say goodbye now. As Brad leads Britt down the stairs and towards the back of the boat where they find a dingy waiting to take Britt back to the villa.
As Britt enters the villa, the ladies are glad to see her back and want to hear about things, when Britt tells them that she has to pack as the romantic connection with Brad just isn't there and it is her time to leave. This emotionally hits the other women and they eventually head to bed.
Up next.........the group date from hell
Brad heads over to the ladie's villa to wake them up, the time on the video stated 2:07am......after he surprises the ladies and wakes them up, they proceed to a room in the resort where he then tells the ladies that they will be taking part in the Sports Illustrated, Swimsuit Edition. After the ladies are "made up" for the photoshoot, they all head down to the beach. Chantal states in a PI of how you have to get dressed up in a bikinni and act sexy when you really don't feel it, is scarry to her. She then proceeds to tell us that she has eaten so much the last few days that she feels like a "fat lard". The Photographer is Raffeal Muzziko (sorry for the spelling??) First up at the photoshoot is Ashley.....she does a few poses in her swimsuit, then takes her top off and places shells on her ?? and has a few more sexy photo's taken before her shoot is done, next up is Chantal who definately takes some nice sexy poses and looks like she is really getting into it before she too removes her top and has some topless photo's done as well. Last is Michelle who has some sexy photo's done on her own before including Brad in some sexy pics. As Brad lays on the beach and Michelle poses on top of him, they get into some racey pics of them kissing which of course sends Ashley and Chantal over the edge. Neither of them can believe that what they witnessed actually happened......Chantal states in a PI of how hard it is to see the guy that she loves kissing the other women, it's brutal. Brad then states in a PI of how Michelle got aggressive but he also got caught up in it, and how he noticed the looks on the other women's faces......it was obvious how much they were hurt by Michelle's display. He also goes on to say that he really hopes that he can calm everyone down at the pool party, but is afraid that things will get worse before they get better.
As the four of them get to the pool, they head into the pool and swim for a while before Brad takes Ashley aside for their quality time......At the beginning, Brad states to Ashley that his feelings for her haven't changed one iota....not at all. Ash tells him that she really needed to hear that and by him saying those things, it does make things better and she really needed him to say these things. Ash proceeds to tell Brad that he needs to do what is best for him, if that means that it isn't her, she will be okay in a while, but if it is her, she'll be extremely happy.
When their time is over, Brad comes back to take Chantal aside. Brad takes Chantal to the beach for their quality time. She tells Brad that she loves him but her feelings are really being put to the test when she sees the guy she loves, kissing the other women. She also tells Brad that she would make the worse mistake of her life if she was to ignore the feelings she was having for Brad. Then Brad tells us in a PI of how when Chantal told him that she loves him......it makes him a truely happy guy.
Next up with Michelle's quality time, he tells Michelle that they might be too much a like and that they might just go around in circles and not get things solved......
Chantal takes Brad aside once again and she calls him out on a few things........she feels that Brad is a little cool today and that she is worried that he might be shutting down on her. He tells her not so and that he is trying to be appreciative, respectful and aware of everyone's feelings as he interacts with the various women. Meaning, he is watching Michelle's and Chantal's reaction when Ashley is doing the photoshoot and so on with the other women and unfortunately it is coming off as cool and disconnected. Brad is stating in a PI of how he is worried now of who he is going to give the rose to and what that says to the other women and if they will permanently shut down because of it. Brad comes back to grab the rose.....
As Brad takes Ashley aside again, they are enjoying their time together but is telling Brad that she hopes she isn't ruining what they have.....when she gets to this point, she feels that she might shut down and revert to her shell so she won't get hurt. She doesn't want to do that but feels it might happen......Brad decides to give the rose to Ashley and goes back to collect it at which time, it was very evident from Chantal's face that she is extremely disappointed. When Brad comes back to Ash with the rose, she runs up to meet him and realizes that the rose is for her.
When Brad and Ash get back to where Chantal and Michelle are sitting, Brad first asks Michelle if she is okay at which time Michelle just gives Brad the grumpy sourpuss look without talking, but Chantal emotionally breaks at that moment.......Ash tries to comfort her but to no avail. Brad asks for some time alone with Chantal and Ash and Michelle leave to go back to the villa.
When Brad has a chance to talk to Chantal, it is obvious her emotions are going wild. She is trying to understand why she didn't get the rose and what that means for their future..... Brad tries to console her but Chantal isn't having anything to do with it. Even after their talk, he and we can tell that Chantal is still really upset, and this of course sends Brad into a tailspin wondering if he had done the right thing.
Up next........Rose Ceremony
As the ladies arrive at The Bleu, where the rose ceremony will take place, they are all remarking how beautiful it is there. As all of the ladies are having a toast to their final night together, we see Brad at his deliberation area under a cabanna on the beach......Chris Harrison shows up for a talk with Brad. As they talk, Brad mentions that he wants to bypass the cocktail party and carry on to the rose ceremony itself as he has already made up his mind who is leaving and didn't feel it right to prolong their anxiety over a cocktail party, knowing full well it wouldn't change his mind no matter what they said. Chris agreed and left to tell the ladies what was going to happen. As the ladies make their way down to the beach for the ceremony, we see Brad at his cabanna still thinking.

After the roses were handed out, Brad takes Michelle up to the limo, as they leave the beach, he asks if he can have her hand.....no, then asks if they want to talk.......no once again. When Michelle gets into the limo, she acts like she is wiping tears away, then proceeds to lay down in the back seat......talk about a drama queen......she didn't even give the customary good bye talk. Good grief......sorry folks but IMO, good ridance. Brad states in a PI of how their physical chemistry is there, the other factors that make a connection work, just aren't. The physical part of their relationship will eventually wear off.
Brad then heads back to the other ladies and makes the toast......to the single most important thing to him.....family......so here's to possibly extending that family.
My observations:
Emily: Brad seems to be more into her as the episodes go along, but not as much openly expressed chemistry between them that there is with the other women there.
Chantal: How he is totally happy that Chantal can express her love for him and how good that makes him feel.
Shawntel: Their connection seems more natural and un-forced, but IMO, still something missing compared to the relationship between Brad and say Chantal.
Ashley: Still an emotional connection there......but Physically, is there enough??

Rainforrests and Bugs..........Two More are Sent

At the start of tonight's epi, we see Brad flying into the rainforrest of Costa Rica........After Brad lands and begins to check out the resort, we hear him saying how he feels more emotionally invested this time compared to the last time at this stage. Next, we see the ladies plane landing in Costa Rica and we get a PI from Ashley H saying how she is looking forward to getting down and dirty with Brad in Costa Rico. As the ladies arrive at the Springs Resort and Spa, they find Brad waiting for them. They all take a tour of the resort. Then Brad takes them to their villa where they all take an opportunity to explore their villa. They find a pool and a hottub awaiting them, and they are also overlooking an active volcano. When Brad leaves, he places the date card on a lawnchair. After Brad leaves, we get a PI from Alli stating how she hasn't had a one on one date yet and she really hopes that this date card is for her. Emily is the one to grab the date card and reads it out........Chantal O.........Close your eyes and hold on tight....love is in the air tonight.............. Then we get a PI from Michelle saying that she can't believe that Chantal has another date with Brad and if Brad is interested in Chantal, then he isn't the one for her. All Michelle can hope for is that Chantal gets attacked by the monkeys. Good grief.......this woman is going somewhat crazy......lol. We get a PI from Chantal that says that she feels that Brad may be doubting her and her feelings towards him after their date in Vegas when Chantal became really emotional. As the ladies are all sitting around talking about Chantal and how this is her second date, Brad arrives to wisk Chantal away in a heli.
As they walk towards the heli for their date, Brad is remarking in a PI of how much fun he has with Chantal on their dates, but he has seen a different side of her the last couple of times they were together, a dramatic side of her that he didn't like so he was interested in finding out if they could get back to the fun loving and adventerous side of her.
Back at the villa, we see Emily and Michelle talking and Michelle is saying how she feels that Chantal isn't right for Brad and how she feels that Chantal won't be coming home tonight. Michelle also tells Emily of how she feels Chantal is very aggressive, very egotistical, and over confident. When Michelle is talking like that, the look on Emily's face says it all......she obviously doesn't agree with Michelle
As the heli is touring over the rainforrest of Costa Rico, Brad and Chantal are nearing their destination. Brad tells Chantal what they are going to do on their date and Chantal immediately is so excited. Apparently it is the longest zipline in the world that they will be going on. In a PI, Brad states how he is looking forward to having back the confident, independant woman that he had in the beginning that he fell for.....if they don't find that connection again, then he will be extremely disappointed at the end of their date.
After they went down a lot of zip
tracks, it was obvious that the two of them were getting closer and having a
lot of fun together. At their last stop on the zip line, they look over to the
bushes and find monkeys playing in the trees. In a PI, Brad states that he is
absolutely having fun with Chantal and can absolutely spend the rest of his
life with this girl.....
Meanwhile, back at the mansion, the group date card arrives........Love springs eternal..........Jackie, Michelle, Emily, Ashley, Shawntel, and Britt.......... This leaves the last individual date for Alli.

When she comes out of the room, you can see how taken aback Brad is with seeing Chantal in his shirt. As the two of them sit down on Brad's balcony, the two of them get into some serious conversation of how Chantal acted in Vegas and how Brad felt that she was being dramatic and playing games with him. Chantal immediately appologizes for that and says that she never meant to come across like that but was going through a hard time in Vegas and it showed. Chantal then tells Brad that she wants this to be everyday and also wants them to have a forever.......You can tell how Brad is taken aback again. As Brad offers the rose to Chantal, we get a PI from Chantal telling us of how tonight was different....of how she can tell that tonight was all about giving in and falling in love......she also says how that is what happened for her....she felt like she was falling in love with Brad.
Up next............group date
As the ladies are in the truck going out to their group date, get a PI from Michelle saying how she hates group dates. As Michelle states, they are wet and cold in the caravan and she is still trying to wrap her head around the fact that Chantal came home with a rose, according to Michelle, Chantal isn't Brad's girl....she is. They arrive at their destination, Pure Trek Canyoning, and find Brad waiting for them. It is a six on one group date all about adventuring and conqueoring fears. As Brad leads them down this path, Brad states in a PI of how group dates are becoming very hard for him......trying to find the happy medium between comforting the ladies and equalizing their time. Once they get to where they are going, we get a PI from Jackie saying how scared she is to rappel down the waterfall. Then we get another PI from Michelle whining of how pisssed she is that Brad is taking other ladies to a rapell site knowing the pact that they had made before when they rapelled down the building. Shawntel N. is the first one down followed by Britt, then Ashley, Emily, and then Jackie who is obviously having a hard time with this.....being totally afraid of heights.......
we then get another PI from Michelle of how she feels Jackie is being over dramatic and she is tired of the game that Jackie is playing........good grief. Michelle states in a PI of how annoying it is that Brad is being so nice to the other girls.........Michelle and Brad are the last ones to go down and they rapel to the bottom together. This of course makes the other women jealous, especially Jackie who voices this in one of her PI's. She didn't understand how Brad couldn't of done the rapel with her instead considering how scared of heights Jackie was.
Next, Brad and the ladies head back to the resort where they are going to jump into the natural hotsprings from the volcano. The first one to get some one on one time with Brad is Jackie.......as they head over to a secluded part, Brad says that he is really proud of what Jackie accomplished.....Jackie says that she is wondering why Brad couldn't of rapelled down with her. It gave Brad a pause as now he realized that Jackie was jealous of what he did with Michelle.....so he told Jackie of the pact that he had with Michelle.
Meanwhile back at the villa, the date card arrives for Alli. As Chantal reads it out, it says...........Alli, meet me at the alter.......Brad. This is when Chantal and Alli were going out to the balcony and they find a beetle on the table.......Chantal is trying to get the beetle outside when Alli freaks out and panics as she is afraid of bugs.
Back at the springs, the ladies are in the hottub talking and we get another PI from Michelle.......wow, this lady knows how to talk.......and she has had enough of the other women and they all need to go home so she can be alone with Brad............
Meanwhile Emily and Brad have gone to another secluded place and are talking.......and he was saying how excited he was to see her today. Emily states how she has a way of sabataging good things that are happening to her.........Brad then tells her that he won't allow that to happen this time. They end their quality time together with a nice kiss.
As Michelle and Brad are having their quality time together, they hear the screaming from the villa regarding Alli/Chantal and the beetle.....LOL. Michelle is telling Brad how she is surprised that Chantal came home from their date as she really feels that Chantal isn't right for him. She also tells Brad that she felt that all Brad wanted was a sexy date with Chantal in Costa Rico. When their time was up, Brad states in a PI of how he really really likes Michelle, but doesn't like the fact that she gets pissed off at him over nothing. When it comes time for Brad to hand out the rose, he says that he isn't going to give it out tonight.......the roses mean more to him now than they ever have before and he really needs to think about who he is going to give the rose to. Michelle's last PI regarding the group date is that it is about time that Brad starts making decisions about who to hand out the roses to and who needs to go home......if Brad isn't ready to make those decisions, then she will have to take matters into her own hands.
UP next.........Alli's date at the alter
As Alli is getting ready for her one on one date, she is packing up her suitcase and stating in a PI of how she is really looking forward to getting the rose, coming back with a glow like the others have done on their one on one dates. As the ladies are waiting for Alli's date, they begin to talk about what the alter part of Alli's date means. Then Brad shows up on a horse and is bringing another one for Alli to use. In a PI, Brad states how he is really looking forward to the date to find out if he and Alli have a real relationship forming. After going through the fields and woods, they get off the horses and head down a path through the trees till the get to a stream and a cave entrance where they find some hard hats waiting for them. Brad then leads Alli deeper and deeper into the cave. You can tell that Alli is getting more and more anxious the deeper into the cave they go.....they then come across some spiders and bugs which of course freaks Alli out......the deeper they go, they then find some bats.......Alli is obviously becoming more and more uncomfortable. When they get to the end of the cave, they come across some natural stairs leading to the top of the cave......these stairs are what the locals call the alter. As they get to the top, there is a flat area where Brad proceeds to set up a picnic area for them.
Later they find themselves back at the springs for a romantic dinner. Brad states in a PI of how by all accounts he should be really enjoying this, but they are only accomplishing some small talk that is really going nowhere.
Back at the villa, we see the ladies discussing the connection that Alli and Brad have going, when Chantal says that the only connection she see's happening is a friendship connection between them.
Back at dinner, Brad asks Alli about her previous relationships......In a PI, Brad is realizing that the only connection they have is through friendship......and he can't really see himself ever falling in love with Alli. At the end of their date, he tells Alli that he can't offer the rose to her and according to Brad, he likes Alli, but the spark just wasn't there.
Up next...........a visitor joins Brad in his suite
After his date with Alli ends, Brad heads back to his suite and states that he feels emotionally drained and he isn't 100% confident in his choice today and feels that he needs some down time. A knock on the door brings Michelle into his suite where it is obvious that she just wanted to have some extra one on one time and a make out session with Brad. She also tells Brad that she is very upset that Chantal is still there and if he ends up with Chantal, he'll be very disappointed. At this time, she also takes the opportunity to try to tell Brad who to get rid of and in what order, Britt, Jackie, Chantal. which leaves Shawntel, Emily, Ashley, and Michelle as the final one .......talk about taking things into her own hands.........good grief. As Brad states, there are six other women there other than Michelle that he needs to think about and that he has to consider them.....sometimes he feels that he is being pulled into multiple directions and he is realizing that Michelle might be the main cause of it.
Up Next..........Cocktail Party
Emily is the first one to have some quality time with Brad at the Cocktail party. Brad states that he feels good things about Emily but is also scared of her. Emily admits that she realizes that she said a stupid thing at the group date about sabataging everything good that comes her way and wanted to set the record straight with him.......when in actual fact, she has a tendancy to pull away from people when things get complicated. Brad then states in a PI of how he refusses to give up on Emily and he wants to keep going with their relationship.
Meanwhile Chantal, Britt, Jackie, and Shawntel are trying to find out what Brad meant at the beginning of the cocktail party when he said that there are some that have given him grief about not handing out the rose on the group date.........by the end of the night, they have come to the conclusion that the only one that did that must of been Michelle and of how Michelle slipped away to Brad's suite after his date with Alli. In a PI, Chantal states how she feels that this is a competition and a game to Michelle and that Chantal doesn't like it.
Brad then takes Michelle aside and tells her that he feels that they have taken 10 steps back in their relationship and doesn't like the direction that they are going in because Michelle won't let things go and they have the same conversation over and over again without going forward.
When Michelle goes back to where the ladies are sitting, Chantal confronts Michelle and asks her if she has any idea why Brad would of made the comment regarding him being given grief about not handing out the rose on the group date........this is when Michelle admits to going to his suite for a short time after the date he had with Alli.
The next person to have some quality time with Brad is Shawntel....she brings up the topic of not handing out the rose on the group date. To make things a little lighter during their quality time, they play the silence treatment game.......the first one to break during the game was Shawntel.....they end their quality time with a kiss.
Chantal is the next one to have some quality time with Brad.....she proceeds to tell him that she has fallen in love with him. Brad asks her why she knows she feels that way.........Chantal says that up until their date in Costa Rico, she said that everything was all about her....when she will have time with him, how she is feeling about this.......now she says that she wonders how Brad is feeling with things....and what he needs. Brad then tells Chantal that he needed that and thanks her for admitting her feelings to him.........it had made his night. In a PI, Brad admits to coming into the rose ceremony in the lowest of lows but after hearing that admission from Chantal, it had completely turned his day around.

This leaves Jackie as the only one going home at the Rose Ceremony. As Brad takes Jackie out to say good bye, we get the usual message from the limo as they head out. Meanwhile Brad heads back inside to make the usual champagne toast and a message as to where they are going next.
A Visit to "Sin City"......and Three More Sent Packing
First of all, let me appologize

electronics glitches.....needless to say, hopefully it is better getting it
done late versus not at all......LOL
Tonight's epi started with Chris Harrison coming into the living room and greeting the ladies....He proceeded to explain to the ladies that this week will change everything...... They are leaving LA and beginning their journey to find love....... The first stop will be in Las Vegas. They were also informed that there will be an individual date, a group date and the dreaded 2 on 1 date when both ladies need to be packed before the date as one won't be coming home. Before Chris leaves, he tells the ladies to get packed as they will be leaving within an hour.
The first PI comes tonight from Alli....... she goes on to say how she is really wanting the individual date as she can't wait to spend time with Brad. The next PI goes to Michelle who in typical Michelle style, claimed that she can't wait till some of the girls leave as it will leave more room for her luggage....good grief.
We see Brad getting out of his limo at the Aria Hotel. He states that he really loves Vegas and can't wait to show the women the excitement of the city. As Brad stands waiting outside of the entrance to the Aria, we see the ladies pulling up in the limo.....of course it is Michelle the first one out to get a hug from Brad........We then get a PI from Chantal where she states that she loves Vegas and is really hoping to get another one on one date as she really likes spending time with Brad......Foreshadowing?????

As Brad walks the ladies into the hotel and takes them up to the room, he opens the doors to the luxury suite....this of course gets all the women excited and we find them all walking around, exploring.....During this time, we are also shown a PI of Brad stating that he feels he doesn't know some of the women as well as he should and the others that he is developing feelings for, he still has concerns. After the women have a chance to explore the room, they all meet in the living room for a toast and an announcement from Brad where he says that all the ladies will have a date this week and no one will be left out. As he leaves the date card behind and walks out, Michelle is the first one up to grab the card and read it out......Shawntel N......Let's end tonight with a bang........We next get a PI from Shawntel stating how she is really looking forward to tonight and being able to spend time with him.......
Shawntel leaves the room and finds Brad waiting for her.....he then informs her that they will be doing a shopping spree through the mall. We then get a PI from Shawntel as she proceeds to tell us that her local mall in Chico, CA is so small and is surprised with how large this one is.....they walk into the mall to find the icebergs in the entrance......As they are wandering through the shops, it is obvious how they are connecting, having fun and how light their moods are as they are both trying on various clothes and Brad is constantly telling her that they will get that item. Once they are done, they leave the mall and Shawntel goes back to the room to get ready for dinner......Their parting PI's are from Brad: how he loved the date, he found Shawntel to be very sexy and even when she wasn't trying to be sexy, he found her to be even sexier. Shawntel's PI was that she was so happy, felt so natural, felt so much like herself.....
When she gets back to the room, she is showing off her purchases to the other ladies......you can tell they are all not very happy but with Michelle, it was amplified.....big time. Michelle looks at everything that Shawntel was given and asks the question about how much money is sitting here. A look of disgust was on her face when Shawntel told her, and in a PI she states how she wishes that it had been her on that date.......IMO, Michelle is very materialistic and it really showed tonight with regards to what Shawntel got on her date.
As Brad arrives to pick up Shawntel, you can feel the tension in the room, obviously the other ladies weren't happy with what SHawntel got on her date. When Shawntel and Brad leave, we are shown a PI of how she is finding it hard to see him go out with the other women when she has been developing feelings for him.
Brad and Shawntel head up to the roof of where they were earlier in the day......they find a dinner waiting for them. As they are having their dinner, they both get into a conversation about Shawntel's occupation and what she does on a daily basis....you could see Brad push his plate back as this just obviously isn't the topic of conversation that you want to have when you are eating...LOL. At the end of their dinner, he asks her to accept the rose........during a PI he says that he offered her the rose as he feels that they have the basis for a real and true relationship to develop. When she accepted it, he asks what could make the night better, pointing to the sky.......the fireworks begin to go off..... Back at the hotel room, you see all the women running around to the windows to watch the fireworks go off.
Up Next.......group date at the speedway
The date card arrives the next morning for the group date.....as Shawntel reads it out.........Jackie, Emily, Marissa, Chantal, Alli, Lisa, Michelle, Britt. This leaves both Ashley's for the 2 on 1 date. In a PI from Michelle....she is really happy that both Ashleys are going on the 2 on 1 as she will be happy when both are gone from the house. As the limo's pull up and the ladies get out.....we see Brad pulling up in one of the racecars. Chantal is the first one to greet Brad. As Brad greets the ladies, he tells them that Nascar will be performing there in 5 weeks, and that they all will get a chance to race in one of the Nascar cars that day......as the camera pans to Emily, you can just see her tense up. As the ladies get suited up and ready to race, the first group to race are Chantal, Michelle and Britt. As all three cars head out on the track at once, Michelle is going quite slow, then we see Chantal flying around the track which seems to really impress Brad. The next three ladies going out are Alli, Jackie and Marissa. The next PI is of Brad saying how he feels that there is something wrong with Emily as she seems to have a forced smile on her face all day long.
As he takes Emily aside and asks her what's wrong, Emily tells him that Ricky was a race car driver and had a career ending accident on this track. You could obviously see the tension between them and the story really hit Brad.....he appologized for her having to be on this date and told her that she didn't have to do it and he/she/they would all leave the track and it wouldn't be a problem........at this time, Emily says that she really feels that she needs to do the race as she feels that is one of the ways that she can put the past behind her. When they have finished their talk, they head back to the others and prepare to get into the cars for the race. It was very obvious how concerned Brad was that they were on this date and how it was affecting her. In a PI, Brad says that he was really impressed with her tanacity with regards to completing the race. Brad, Emily and Lisa head out onto the track.......during the racing, we are shown a PI of how Emily feels that completing this race will be the beginning of her new life.....her first few laps were for Ricky....The last lap was for herself....a way to put the past behind her and a new beginning on the horizon.
As they head back towards the hotel and the after party, we first get a PI from Alli of how she is really looking forward to spending some time with Brad. As they all get their drinks and settle down, Brad pulls Emily aside first to spend some time with her to make sure she is doing okay. During their chat, you could see that Emily is more relaxed and that she really needed to do that race to put the past behind her. By the end of their time, Brad realized that she is ready to move on, but is also concerned as to whether he can fill that big void left by Ricky and how it will affect their connection.
The next one to get some quality time is Alli. Alli states that she doesn't feel very important, especially after all the time that he has spent with Emily tonight......Brad goes on to tell her that if it was any of the women that felt that way, he would do the same......he just wanted to make sure that the person was okay, and that's all there was to it....
After Alli and Brad had their time, Chantal was the next one to talk to Brad about the date and she too was feeling concerned that Brad was having more feelings towards Emily than herself. Towards the end of their conversation, Chantal asked Brad to let her go if he wasn't feeling the connection between them. By the end of the conversation, Brad voiced in a PI of how he was realizing the women were getting into this more emotionally and how spending so much time with one of the women was affecting the others.....
Meanwhile back at the hotel room, both Ashley's are waiting for the date card to arrive......When it arrives, Shawntel reads it out.......Come hang with the king........Then SHawntel reads part 2 of the date card....Two girls, one rose, one stays, one goes.........
Back at the wrap party, Michelle takes Brad away to hide behind some secluded curtain. As they are talking, Michelle broaches the subject of how there are so many immature girls still there. It is obvious how Michelle is upset that she's on the group date and would rather spend time with Brad alone.....During their chat, Michelle tells Brad that the more time she spends with him, the bigger crush that she is having on him....He agrees. When they come back, Brad reaches for the rose....he asks Emily to join him one more time which you can tell isn't impressing the other women there. As he takes Emily aside, he wants to give her the rose and it is because he wanted her to know how he truely feels about her, that it isn't about tonight. He tells her that the rose is all about her, not about today, Nascar or anything else. He goes on to say that he doesn't care about anything from her past but wants to carry on and will be himself around her.......good or bad, and is giving her the rose because he is falling for her.
Next.........Dreaded 2 on 1 date
As both women head down to meet up with Brad, Brad states in a PI of how uncomfortable this date will be....both Ashley's are friends in the house, he feels comfortable around and likes both Ashley's but has questions about their connections as well. When the ladies arrive, Brad takes them into a room where they are treated to a rehearsal of the hit Vegas show.....Viva Elvis. After the rehearsal is done, they are all invited on stage by the assistant director who then tells them that they all will have a chance to learn the choreography for one of the scenes at which time Brad will have the decision as to which ladie he will invite to join him on stage for the real performance in front of a sold out crowd that night. As Brad and both the women practice their routine, it was up to Brad to decide which lady he felt more of a chemistry for and which one he wanted to invite to continue on the journey with him. During the rehearsal, it was obvious from watching and their PI's, Ashley H was definately more comfortable with Brad than Ashley S. After the practice and rehearsal, they all headed upstairs for dinner. At the end of their dinner, Brad asked Ashley H to join him on stage that night. As the two of them are on stage performing, we get glimpses of Ashley S being driven off in a limo. Kinda felt bad for her as she seemed to be one of the nice ones without much drama.....
The next morning, we get a glimpse of how much in turmoil Brad is once again as he has a teleconference with his therapist on how the journey is going. During his conversation with Jamie his therapist, he is reminded that he is on a quest/journey to find a woman to be his wife and in the process he is going to have to hurt others to get there.....in this journey, he is also going to have to find a way to prevent himself from shutting down as he did the last time and to remain open, no matter how much it hurts him through the process. Be true to what you want out of this process.
Up Next.........Rose Ceremony
So when Brad enters the ceremony tonight, he thanks the ladies for opening up, for trying to stay with the process and he realizes that there are a lot more emotions and tears flowing now but hopes that everyone will stay with it. He also tells the women that he is there if any of them want to discuss their feelings with him.
The first one to get some quality time was Chantal....he tells her that the last time they saw each other, she had tears in her eyes and he wanted to check in with her. Chantal voiced her concerns of how much time was spent with Emily during the group date and how the other women were feeling about it. Brad explains that he would do that with anyone that was having a hard time like Emily was during that date. As they continue their discussion, it is obvious that they both have strong feelings for each other......Chantal even let the "love" word slip......She tried to take it back and say that she is actually crazy about him.
Brad also takes aside Emily, Michelle and Alli of whom he knows from their last conversations has told him that she really doesn't feel very special around the other ladies, so Brad grabs a small cake desert that he had and a bottle of champagne and takes them upstairs to have a private conversation. Brad says in a PI that he really wanted Alli to feel special as she deserves that. Brad tells Alli that the cake has green on it in honour of the dress that she wore the first night that they met........
As the women and Brad are talking in the room, Chris comes in to say it was time for the ceremony.....

My observations:
I do feel that Brad and Chantal, Emily, and Shawntel are getting closer in their relationships. With Chantal and Shawntel, it is fun for the most part, yet they do have some serious conversations. With Emily, it is obvious that they are getting closer, but they still have a lot of serious conversations to come.
Chantal goes Deep, Love on the Line in the Group Date and Michelle Falls
So tonight’s episode starts off with Michelle, her black eye and the craziness that ensues..........what else. LOL. Michelle stating that she will have a one on one date with Brad that day and he WILL kiss her eye and make it better..........are we five?
Chris shows up at the house and tells the women that again there will be three dates, 2 of them one on one and a group date. Chris leaves the date card on the table and escapes the room........
Lindsay leaps up, grabs the card and reads it out..........Chantal...How deep is your Love? As the camera pans to Michelle........if looks could only kill, Chantal would be six feet under.........LOL. In a PI, Michelle states that she is very different from Chantal so if Chantal comes home, she will be very surprised......As Chantal heads to the room to pack, she states in a PI of how excited she is.......
Brad shows up to pick up Chantal for their date, and after saying good morning to all the ladies, Michelle immediately pipes up saying that she woke up with a black eye.........As she tries to keep Brad’s attention, you can just feel the tension in the air. Then in a PI, we get Ashley S saying that she wishes that she had been the one to give Michelle her black eye..........somehow if that happened, I really don’t think the other women would of minded one bit.......LOL. As they are all still in the living room, Brad says that they are just waiting for their ride.......cue the heli coming in for a landing as everyone runs out to see. Brad comments that if that ain’t a cool way to pick up a date, he doesn’t know what is.......immediately Brad and Chantal are high fiving each other.......As the two of them take off in the heli, we get yet another PI from Michelle saying how upset she is that the two of them are together and how upset she is that they will likely have a makeout session at some point tonight........LOL.
Since they were picked up in a yellow and red heli and landed on Catalina in a black and grey heli, they obviously landed somewhere and switched heli’s. Both of them were sitting very close in the bird and enjoying the scenery as they headed to the island. As the two of them head down the warf to the water, they board a boat that takes them out to where their underwater walk will begin. In a PI, Chantal states how terrified she is of being underwater, but also wants to prove to him and herself that she can do it. In PI’s throughout the experience, Chantal lets us know how she feels about going under the water, then the experience of conquering one of her fears.......kind of like falling in love......now that she has conquered her fear of being under the water, she is open to love. It was really neat.........they had these helmets on with microphones in them so you could hear what they were saying.......kind of like a spacesuit......just underwater.
Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Michelle is milking her black eye for all it’s worth........she has a “icepack” and is using it on her eye when the date card arrives.........in a PI at that time, she is talking about her one on one date again.......geez whiz, give it a break already...........LOL. As Britt reads out the card, Ashley S, Stacey, Britt, Lindsay, Meghan, Alli, Lisa, Ashley H, Jackie..............Let’s put our love on the line........... After the date card is read out, we get yet another PI from Michelle stating that if she doesn’t get her one on one date this week, there is a good chance that Brad will get his own black eye..........Really??
As both Brad and Chantal arrive on the beach for their dinner........they find a really romantic setting waiting for them. As Brad pours the wine, we get a PI of Chantal talking of how scared she is and because of the long relationship she had with her ex, she is out of touch with the dating world. As they both continue with small talk of what they both want for the future.......the right person, the family / kids, the forever......In my opinion, you can see the fireworks going off with the amount of chemistry both of them have together.......as they spend some quality time talking, kissing and going over what each of them want in their future, you can see how much they connected.
Back at the mansion, Michelle and Ashley S are our talking..........Michelle is on her pitty parade and ragging on how she isn’t happy, how she doesn’t like Chantal.........Michelle states how head strong Chantal is and how focussed on Brad she is.........bottom line, if Chantal comes home, then they all need to watch out.
Back on the beach, Chantal says that she owes Brad an apology..........for slapping him the first night.......she feels that the slap came off harder than she wanted. Brad laughs and tells her that she has a solid right hook. During their time talking on the bed, Brad states in a PI of his feelings towards Chantal......he loves the playfulness between them, she calls him out, makes him laugh, puts him in check........it really is like having a girlfriend, and he is loving it. To Chantal, he states that today has any day in his everyday normal life.......like he has known her for years, he cares for her very much and with her, he feels that he could have a very real relationship happening with.........He tells Chantal that he felt like this is what it could be in real life and wants it to continue....then he presents her with the rose. As the rain started coming down, they headed into one of the shelters and settled in on the bed there for the night.............
Up Next...........group date with love line
As the ladies arrive at the studio, Brad is standing there waiting for them..........The ladies are ushered into the separate studio room where they can’t hear anything. Brad is brought into the actual studio and begins discussing things with Dr. Drew.
Back at the mansion, Michelle is now talking to Emily. Michelle is spilling how she is upset that she might not get a date, of how she might cry if she doesn’t get one.........Emily then talked of how her one on one date is when things changed for her and her perspective of the time spent in the house.
At the studio, the ladies are now being brought into the control room where Dr. Drew is able to talk to them. Brad mentions how he has never cheated on anyone but has been cheated on........Dr. Drew then asks the women if any of them have ever cheated............Stacey raises her hand, and admitted that she cheated when she was in College........a drunk and stupid thing to do. Brad then goes into a conversation and states that he isn’t looking for a specific type, but wants to find someone that he can be himself around.........a setup for what he said about Chantal in their date??...............In the studio, Ashley H comes out with the comment that she is scared, is worried that things won’t go the way she wants so is finding herself retracting from Brad........Brad pipes in with the comment then that during the last time doing this, he had too many walls up that he wasn’t willing to let down and then found himself with a lot of regrets........he tells Ashley that it is something that she doesn’t want to do........take his word for it. Britt chimes in with how interested in him that she is and is very nervous because she only gets the five or ten minute time frame with him and is so concerned about getting out all that she wants the way she wants to do it that she is worried that he has no idea who she really is. Bottom line, she just wants the chance to get to know him for real....... A big theme of the date was to try to get the women to open up to Brad..........
As they all head back to Brad’s after the session with Dr. Drew...........they all gathered in the hottub and talked some more. As one of the women takes Brad off for a chat, we get a PI from Ashley H talking about her frustrations with not having her alone time with Brad....... Meanwhile, Brad and Stacey head off for a chat and that’s when Stacey is complimenting him for opening up.......then Alli talks to Brad........They just sit down and Ashley S shows up and wants her time.......it is very obvious that Alli isn’t impressed and makes a comment that she has only been there for 20 seconds, of which Ashley says sorry but wants her time too.....
Okay, there is such a thing as being too open when all the ladies aren’t letting the other one have their time with Brad.......got a feeling that he is going to learn that lesson pretty quick.
Ashley S just sits down, when another lady comes in asking for her time......WOW, Brad, you are in a world of problems with the engaging ladies.........LOL. Meanwhile back in the hot tub, Ashley H begins to evaluate who has had their one on one time and then comes to the conclusion that she won’t get her time alone with him.........which of course puts her over the edge and in a PI, she states that she can’t figure out why it is only hard on her and no one else...........Hello??
Back at the mansion, the date card arrives..............As Emily heads out for the card......and comes back in.......Let’s hang out together..........for Michelle. As soon as her name is read out..........she jumps up.......you can tell that her doing that really isn’t impressing anyone.......LOL. Then we get a bragging Michelle in a PI of how she is the only one that matters and everyone else should pack their bags and leave as Brad is hers.......oh lordy, here we go. As Michelle re-reads the card and it says let’s hang out together, Chantal pipes up with saying that hasn’t all the other cards said something about love........This of course sends Michelle off on another tangent.........LOL.
As the ladies are discussing one on one times etc at the hot tub, Ashley H is definitely getting on the bad side of a lot of the women there.......saying that they don’t know how she feels, they aren’t having a hard time with this........grrrrr. Meanwhile, Brad takes Britt away for some quality time. During their time, they were just explaining to each other what they want to find out of this, how they want to find their best friends and whether they can connect, and towards the end of their conversation, Britt admits that she has a crush on Brad. This gets Brad and they find themselves kissing. Just as Ashley H rounds the hill and finds them on their bench alone kissing.............. As Britt leaves and Brad / Ashley sit down for their time, it is obvious that Brad is finally understanding that this is hard on Ashley as she mentions how everyone is coming home, talking about their dates and she is frustrated. When she finally admits that it is easier on her to just take a step back, he begs her to hang in there and don’t step back........As he reaches for the rose to hand out, in a PI, Brad states that he knows what he has to do as he feels he needs to reassure her and there is no chance in hell that he is going to give up on Ashley..............he walks out to the hot tub to hand out the rose, when Ashley H makes a comment of how she hates this..........this immediately takes Brad a back and he does an abrupt face on giving Ashley the rose and says he is going to change his plan a bit here, as he takes Britt aside, tells her that he believes that she is there for him, and gives her the rose instead.
Up next................Michelle’s day; or so she thinks
As Brad arrives at the house to pick up Michelle for their date, his first order of business is to take Ashley H aside to talk to her about the night before.........this of course ticks off Michelle to no end and she wasn’t afraid to say that in a PI in no uncertain terms. Michelle’s reaction upsets some of the ladies and Chantal mentions to her of how this is no different than what Brad did for Michelle on one of the earlier group dates when Michelle was upset, Brad took time to talk to her about it. Michelle then gets even more upset and says that it was different as it is happening to her............good grief!! Meanwhile outside, Brad and Ashley H are discussing what happened the night before and he wanted to reassure her that they were okay but also wanted the same reassurance from her as well.
Once their discussion was over, they headed back into the house and Brad and Michelle took off for their date. The first thing that Michelle talked about from the moment they left the house was her black eye........Then in a PI, Michelle had the gaull to still have a fit with Ashley H taking time out of her day.....and the last thing that Michelle said in her PI was that if Ashley H costs her the rose, she will come back and elbow Ashley H in the face...........shall we say she is acting like a five year old............
As the two of them head back to Brads, she still goes on about Ashley.........you can tell it is upsetting to Brad. Then as the two of them are at Brad’s, the heli arrives to take them to their destination. They land on the rooftop where they are going to rappel down the side of the building to the pool below. Once Michelle realizes what they are going to do, she has a panic session..........how much of it was made up, who knows.........I just found her whining and complaining about doing it to be very irritating after a while. As they get geared up and get ready to go down, Michelle is milking it for all it’s worth, between her PI’s and her comments made on camera to Brad. When they finally get to the bottom and get un-geared, Brad runs and jumps in the pool. Brad called the rappel an overwhelming bonding experience. After they are both in the pool, Michelle makes a silly request that Brad promises her that he will never rappel off another building with another woman.......good lordy.........Talk about something that is so silly to do, make someone make a promise like that in that situation.......who’s to say that they will end up together, and who’s to say that Brad won’t want to do that again one day...........give me a break.
Their date was kind of a re-do of Jillian’s/Ed’s and most recently Ali’s / Roberto’s. In a PI, Michelle states that no one in the house will ever be able to compare any of their dates to the excitement of this one.....rappelling off of a building.
The two of them have a dinner and are talking of a possible future.....and Brad states that if he doesn’t find a situation here where he can see making a daily life with someone forever, he will walk away again. Michelle then says that she doesn’t see him with any of the other women in the house.
Back at the mansion, Chantal and Stacey are outside talking about Michelle and how off the rocker she went that day when Brad took Ashley aside to talk to her before taking Michelle out on their date. Both of them were saying that they are scared of Michelle and are amazed with her aggressiveness. She literally grabbed Brad’s hand and yanked him out of the living room that morning when they took off for their date.......LOL. They both came to the conclusion that they will let her dig her own grave...........and if Brad wants her in the end, then he isn’t the one for either of them.
Meanwhile, back in the hottub, Brad and Michelle are talking about what they want to come out of this.......For what it’s worth, I am having trouble getting a read on Michelle with regards to whether she is actually playing the game and not really there for Brad but moreso for the attention..........anyhow, they are talking of how they want something real and long term to come out of this. Brad grabs the rose and extends it to Michelle..........Brad states in a PI that there wasn’t any question about Michelle getting the rose, him taking care of Brielle, them having more kids........In a PI at the end of the date, Michelle states that it is time for all the other girls to go home as he is hers!
Up next...........Brad has a chance to sit down with his therapist again
As the two of them sit down and chat, this session seems to be more for the reassurance to Brad that he is dealing with things in the right way for him.......Brad talks of how he is doing a lot more kissing with the women, how he is opening up to them more and in turn....they are opening up to him. It was the validation that Brad needed from his therapist that he is indeed handling his feelings and emotions in the right manner......so all’s well on the therapy front, and life carries on.
Up Next.............The cocktail party
When Brad enters the room, it is obvious that everyone is more tense than usual.........As Shawntel is the first woman to get some alone time, they head off for a chat and she tells him that she is feeling secure knowing that they seem to have something real between themselves. They seem quite playful together as well as they rein acted their time together during the film shoot when she jumped into his arms.
The next one for some quality time was Meghan...........As they are talking, Brad is finding out that Meghan still has her walls up and doesn’t know when or if she will drop them all.......she is worried to in one respect as that is when she will be too vulnerable.......then he tells her, take it from a guy that knows, walls aren’t a great thing to hold onto.
Next up for some quality time is Emily............he grabs a basket out that has the blanket, pillows, candles, and some wine.........they head out front where Brad tries to rein act their winery date. This seems to set the jealousy’s going with the women left in the house as in their PI’s they are obviously feeling the connection between Brad and Emily. As they head outside and Brad sets the scene, you can tell that it is impressing Emily. Brad states in a PI that he is really feeling it with Emily and since she didn’t have a date this week, he wanted to do something special for her so that they can re-connect. During their conversation, Emily admits to leaving a present for her daughter for every day that she would be gone. This seemed to impress Brad a lot. As they end their time, Chantal, Stacey, Shawntel, and Jackie are inside talking about the connection that Brad and Emily obviously have.......through the conversation, it is obviously affecting Chantal and she starts crying.
Chantal heads out to find Brad for their quality time and finds him with Ashley
H. As Chantal opens up to Brad, she states that she is concerned because he is
making connections with certain girls that are definitely emotionally unstable
and this is concerning her as she is feeling really strongly for him and she
needs the reassurance that they do have that connection. As Brad tries to
reassure her that their connection is real, he states that he loves the fact
that she isn’t needy, that she is independent, and keeps him on his toes. By
the end of their conversation, it is obvious that Chantal feels a lot better
and tells him that she is going to trust the fact that he is man enough to get
this done and get to where he needs to be with this and trust the fact that the
feelings are real on both sides of the fence for them. As they talk and are
playful together, Brad remarks that he wants to be tough for her and she just
won’t let him be.......they end up cuddling and having some kissing time
together.

What I noticed more this time around is:
- Chantal tonight was actually telling her love story........whether that is reciprocated by Brad, I’m not entirely sure yet. Chantal is also being shown as more of a friend to a lot of the women in the house. I am liking the Chantal that was shown tonight.
- Michelle was getting more and more irritating tonight.......getting really tired of her games.
- Ashley H was really showing her jealousy with the other women tonight and it was obviously getting on their nerves.
- Emily was shown tonight as a friend to the women in the house as well.......she talked to Michelle a bit and is definitely there for the women when approached about things.
- Emily – I am finding the connection hard to read in one aspect, but in others, you can tell that she is really starting to feel it with him and it is obvious that he is heads over heels with her.
I hope you all enjoyed my blog this time around. I know that I have gone into great extent of the connection that Brad and Chantal are having, and again during the group date with Dr. Drew.........I was thinking that this season seems to go more into depth of the openness of the connections between Brad and the ladies as well as the Psychological implications for them all. Is this a way of foretelling what might actually be the ending?? I’d love to know your impressions on this and what you all think of how feelings really seem to be the theme this season..............

Two ladies eliminated and one more walks away
At the beginning of tonight’s epi, we were given a sneak peak as to what is going to happen.........then Chris brings everyone into the living room and tells them that he understands that it was emotional last night and won’t get any easier. Then he tells the ladies that there will be two individual dates and a group date this week, and again, not everyone will get dates just like last week.
Chris leaves the date card behind as he exits the room, and with that, Sarah reads out the first date card going to Ashley S.......... “Let’s find our love song”
Everyone is out by the pool when Brad arrives to pick up Ashley. Cue in Michelle and one of her numerous PI’s stating how she is pi$$ed that she didn’t get the one on one, how Brad needs a woman and not a girl.........good grief..........had enough of that one already. Brad says in a PI that the reason why he chose Ashley for today’s date is that the very first time he laid eyes on Ashley, the nerves went away. As they drove into LA, they pulled up in front of Capital Records where they were going to record the song “Kiss from the rose” by Seal. Then Ashley tells us that that song was her and her dad’s song and since her dad has died, it is so important to her. As they sang the song together several times, they finally finished...........then Brad escorted her down the hallway to another recording studio where Seal was singing the song that they just tried to do. At the end of their time in the studio, they went to the rooftop where the two of them had a serious conversation. Ashley told Brad about how she and her dad sang the song all the time, then of how her dad died. She finished it off by being thankful for the day and that song as it made her feel that her dad was a part of it all
Meanwhile back at the house, the group date card arrives and Shawntel reads out the card..........Lindsay, Shawntel, Alli, Britt, Kimberley, Sarah, Chantal, Ashley, Lisa, Stacey, Marissa and Michelle....... “Love Hurts”. Then of course we get another PI from Michelle doing her poor me routine...........come on already........sing me a river..........LOL.
Back on the rooftop, Brad decides to hand Ashley the rose. Brad tells her how he was panicking doing what they did and through it all, she allowed him to be himself. They kissed and danced out. Ashley is sweet, charismatic, a beautiful woman and is the whole package..........
Up Next..................12 on 1group date
We first see Brad standing there waiting for the ladies to arrive...........he states that today’s date is about finding out who can get down and dirty..........who wants to get physical............
As the women all line up in front of Brad and he states that he has been looking forward for today’s date to begin, you hear gunpowder going off, Brad getting attacked by 5 guys and then Brad picking up the shovel and creaming out the other 5 guys there..............then Brad states that they are going to be creating an action movie for today’s date. As the date progresses, all the ladies get to do an action scene with Brad or at least with Brad watching. And of course we get the usual Michelle commentary through the date..........enough already with her poor me attitude, and whiney voice...........LOL
Meanwhile, back at the mansion, the next date card arrives and it is for Emily.............. “Love is intoxicating” .....in a PI, she states that she owes Brad an explanation of who she is but her fear is that when she does tell him, he’ll go running for the hills...
Back at the studio, Shawntel is now in a fight scene and we get a running commentary from Brad of how Shawntel is standing out to him today.............This is where Shawntel and Brad have a scene together and Brad is tied up, Shawntel has to fight the other guys off, rescue Brad, then rip the tape off his mouth and kiss him. The next thing we get is Michelle again........the mouthpiece is talking of how she is suppose to be an extra and is now trying to go to the lead actress position........not going to happen as far as Michelle is concerned. Then Michelle goes on to describe how her kiss won’t be some scripted thing and there will be fireworks going off in the background..............yada, yada, yada..............Shades of crazy Michelle from Bach 14 again..........enough already........LOL.
As everyone heads off to the wrap party on the rooftop, they all just jump into the pool, completely dressed. Brad and Chantal head off for their quiet time together...........they get into a serious conversation and Chantal tells Brad about her past. Again, it seems like there are so many similiarities between Brad and Chantal.....she too hasn’t been close to her dad and her dad died this year........As she tells Brad everything, they realize the physical chemistry between them is pounding...............They share a great kiss..........all without Michelle interrupting...........WOW.
Back at the mansion, Emily tells the girls her past...........how she was engaged, how he died in the plane crash and now her daughter........What impressed me is how the other girls supported her while Emily told her story. There was Jackie, Meghan, Ashley S, and Madison.
Back on the rooftop, they are in the pool playing games..........of course Michelle is on his shoulders........Alli then takes Brad aside for their time together. As they are getting into a serious conversation, in walks Michelle. As Brad quickly ends his conversation with Alli, Michelle takes him away and starts clinging to him. Good grief..............at the end of their time together, they have a kiss and then in a PI, crazy Michelle says to the camera that everyone else needs to pack up cause he is hers.............WOWZIE! When Brad and Michelle finished their time, Brad then handed out the rose to Shawntel. After receiving the rose, they share an unscripted kiss together. After they come back down to the pool area and Brad says that they are going to see the movie that they just filmed, we are “treated” to another PI from Michelle with regards to how pissed she is that she didn’t get the rose considering the conversation they shared.........but when all is said and done, it will be okay as it will be her and Brad in Tahiti practicing making babies...............GAG!
Up next................a vineyard date
Brad arrives to pick up Emily for their date, Meghan says in a PI that to describe Emily, she is like this itsy bitsy Barbie doll with the soul of Mother Theresa.........you want to hate her but how can you.........LOL
As Brad and Emily are driving down the road, they are both looking happy and excited, until they pull up at the airport and Emily realizes that they are flying to their destination......you can see it written all over her face and of course for us watching, we all know why that look comes across her face. As they get onto the plane and head out, Brad says that he hopes planes don’t scare her and she says that she’s okay but will tell him when they land. As they land on the airstrip and get into the old car waiting for them, they take their drive out to the vineyard. As they sit down to the picnic lunch, Emily states in a PI of how she is really scared and how she has told other guys that she’s gone out with what happened and they end up pulling away........she is afraid of it happening again.
Back at the mansion, Ashley S and Madison are talking and it is all hitting home for Madison........as she put it, she came there hoping to meet someone and fall in love...........others came there needing to meet someone and fall in love and because of that, she is really insecure and feels that maybe she should step aside.
Back at the vineyard, Brad is trying to get Emily to open up to him.........He is having a real hard time trying to get to her core.........things aren’t going well in the beginning and he is worried that she has her walls up and they won’t connect. When they sit down to dinner, Emily finally opens up...........As she tells Brad of Ricky and the plane crash, you could see Brad is finally getting why she has had some walls up. She tells him of how worried she has been to voice what has happened but Brad tells her that every single thing that she has told him makes him like her more. After some serious conversations, Brad brings back the rose and offers it up to Emily, asking her if she would accept it............he barely gets that out when she says absolutely and remarks, give me that dag gone rose...........which of course causes them both to laugh..........at the end of the night, they seal it all with a real nice kiss.
Up next..............Brad’s therapist pays a visit.
Jamie Green, Brad’s therapist while in LA comes by to pay him a visit. Their visit this time centered around how to keep Brad open and vulnerable, yet open to the experience and possibility of falling in love. Also, as Jamie said, in order to let the ladies in, he has to enable them and find a way for them to also feel vulnerable and yet safe with him to expose a lot of their secrets..........the only true way to get close to someone. Then they talked about the date with Emily, of how she told some intimate and real things that happened in Emily’s life, how he hung on every word, then told of how he walked away from that date feeling an intense connection with her. Now follow that up with all the ladies..........try to make them want to be connected to him.
Up next.............Rose ceremony
As Brad filtered through everyone for their private time with him............Alli was first up. Alli tells Brad of how her dad wasn’t faithful and Alli found out that she had a baby sister that was previously unknown to her.......One more lady that has opened up............
Michelle tries to grab onto Brad, but he says that he’s on his way to get someone else.........Brad then heads over and grabs Chantal............It is very obvious that Brad and Chantal have a great connection. Right when they are getting close and looks like they are going to share a kiss.............guess who walks in.............yup, little nosey buddy Michelle..........am I interrupting..............really??
The first thing Michelle says is that she and Brad are already kinda in a fight..........WHAT??...........They are in a fight because they shared their first kiss, then Michelle finds out that she isn’t the only one that he kissed.........WHAT the heck did she think would happen...................As he makes the rounds, not too many more serious conversations happens until he sits down with Madison. As Madison opens up and says that she realizes that the other women have more on the line right now than she does so she wants to step aside and give them their chance versus taking a rose away from them. (IMO, I respect that a lot.....) The last person that Brad talks to is Ashley H. He can tell that there are things bothering her but also understands that the things that are bothering her are basically nerves. At the end of their conversation, Brad knows that there is an apprehension so to finish their time off, he goes back to give her a kiss and a hug. This of course makes her more reassured.
During the actual rose ceremony, Brad hands out roses to Michelle and Chantal before Madison leaves the ceremony and heads out of the room. Brad leaves and follows her........in the other room, Madison tells him that her heart really isn’t into it and needs to leave. Brad tells her that if she just isn’t feeling it and is walking away, he commends her for it.
As Brad heads back, he continues to hand out the remaining roses.

My impressions from this episode.........
Michelle.........a very annoying mouthpiece that I can’t help but hope will soon fade to the background
Chantal.........definately became more likable this week IMO and she definitely seems to have a great
connection with Brad.
Emily...........wow, has she ever come to the forefront this week.......very impressed with how grownup she
seems to be for her age of 24.
Shawntel.........slowly coming to the forefront......pretty easy connection with Brad
Ashley H..........Still hanging in there.......obvious that Brad does have feelings for her
Ashley S.........Slowly revving up, but still is in the friends zone....

The Bachelor: The Womack is Back
Well, tonight a new season began with an old face returning. As we know, Brad is back for a second chance at love.
In the beginning of the episode, we were given a look back at what happened last time for Brad, his recluse attitude, the years of intense therapy, and finally a guy that is “healed” and looking for another shot. Through the preview, we were given a look into his family and how things have changed for them. We were introduced to Thomas Parker, PHD, Brad’s therapist, whom told us his opinion of how Brad has changed, of how he has the “tools” to be able to be committed in a relationship. The question of the season though..........is he really changed?? I guess that is for Brad and his ladies to find out and for everyone else to question as the season progresses.
We are given a looksy into some of the women that are there to meet Brad........ First up was Ashley H - the bubbly dentist, then Ashley S – the southern girl who wants to be Brad’s friend, Raichel – the manscaper that seems to really enjoy her job, Madison – fang girl with a dark side, Meghan with her fashion sense as she shops for dresses for the show, then finally Emily – her fiancĂ© died in a plane crash.........
Up next..............DeAnna and Jenni
As Chris and Brad are sitting at the mansion having their typical chat........Brad is talking of the walls that were up last time and how he has changed this time. As Brad put it, it took him a long time to realize that during his first time on the Bachelor, he just wasn’t capable of falling in love because of being closed off.....now he is ready! Of course, now Chris has a surprise and Jenni and DeAnna are there to confront him........A shocked Brad stands up to greet the women.
When they all sat down again, Jenni looks like she is willing to listen and give a chance to Brad.........DeAnna, not so much.......she looks like she is still really upset by how things turned out between her and Brad and definitely looks like she has a chip on her shoulder.....
Jenni .........felt embarrassed, frustrated that no one was given a chance. Is saying that she feels the ladies guards will be up when they find out that it is him as the bachelor. Jenni is hopeful that it will work and that the girls will give him a break..........
DeAnna.........upset because she opened her heart and was frustrated that the person that she trusted most in the process let her down. Surprised that he is wanting to do the process all over again. She is sceptical that it will work, but feels that he can do it...........
Up Next...........the limo’s arrive
As Brad and Chris are standing in front of the house and Chris is giving the general pep talk to the bachelor/ette, the parting words from Chris is from friend to friend....... “Don’t screw this up”.
Limo #1:
Chantal O......introduces herself and then says that this is from all the women in America and slaps Brad
Kimberley..........very serious questions and concerns
Alli..........more than willing to give him a second chance
Ashley S........I’m not going to hate on you......want to flirt with you some more........then squeezes his butt
Meghan........weird red shoes that Brad comments on, a couple of hugs
Limo #2:
Marissa........they hug, then he comments on her dress........she then asks if he is okay with being with someone who’s life completely revolves around sports.....
Lindsay.......who immediately says: “you’re back”...........
Ashley H.......welcome back.........hopes that he is ready to answer questions over and over again........then says that they can just take off in the limo sitting there.
Raichel........hug it out, then she says that he is the perfect guy for her
Madison..........fang lady.........he looks delicious
Limo #3:
Melissa........does a running start and says catch me......he does in mid air, admits she didn’t watch his season, they hug it out
Renee.........she tells him he is so cute, they hug
Christy......... they shake hands, admits she doesn’t know much about him, asks him the one thing that he wants her to know before going inside.....he says that he’s changed
Jackie.........a big hug, pinky swear that he won’t break her heart, they hug again
Sarah P......asks him to get down on his knee, repeat after her, will you marry me.....
Limo #4:
Lacey........cold reception, is he there for the right reasons, will give him a chance
Lauren......heard all about him, let’s hope history don’t repeat itself.....hugs him

As Chris meets up with Brad after Michelle heads into the house........Chris does the customary, is your wife waiting for you in that room......absolutely is the answer.......can we honestly think Brad would say anything but??
Before Chris sends Brad inside, he tells him of the first impression rose......meanwhile the ladies inside are talking about the expectations that they have. First up, Brad gives a speech and tells the ladies that this is his second time at this, he asks the women to give him a chance again.......and before he is done with his speech, he asks the women if any of them want to leave........of course no one does, so the night carries on from there......
Up next.........Private time with Brad
Kimberley.........she knows that he’s done this before but needs to know that he will make a decision this time and not get screwed over....hmmmm.
Marissa........what brought him to this point? He talks again of his therapy, of reflections, soul searching......
Shawntel.........tells her that he felt so much of a jerk, the lonliest time that he’s gone through....
Meghan........what happened and when did he know........don’t know if he felt it but was scared
Lisa P, Brittne, Lindsay were all in the montague of how he’s changes, blah, blah, blah......I think we get it!
Chantal O.........first thing she says.......please don’t make me hit you again......oh lordy!
Ashley S.........sits down and says that she’s not going to give any hard questions, claims to just want to be a friend and if stress of this gets to him, he’s got someone to go to......
Chris walks in with the FIR that he and Brad talked about and you can feel the tension amp up several notches.
Raichel......has her waxing gear set up and wanting to show Brad what she is all about.....an Esthetician who specializes in manscaping.....she waxes a small spot on Brad’s wrist.
Jackie.......who admits in a PI of how sexy she finds Brad........she sings him a jingle......Oh Lordy!
Alli........she admits that a guy broke up with her as he was wanting a girl with a smaller butt
Renee........keeps stealing Brad from Alli and then Jill stole him from the two
Emily.........talks of her job, family, and how she is really open to this.....Brad calls her the “Southern Belle”
Madison........fang lady.........he is trying to have a serious conversation and she just won’t answer the questions.......he feels that she thinks this is a game....
Michelle.........says there a lot of little girls here(PI)........tells him of her daughter......talks of him being an uncle......
Brad grabs the FIR and hands it out to Ashley S. as she was very upfront and honest with her feelings.
