Bachelor 21 – FINALE
Well,
tonight marks the end of Nick’s journey(yep really hate that word now) to find
LOVE. We are back in Finland where he
has the last chance dates with Vanessa and Raven, then Raven and Vanessa meet
his family.....now remember, Raven already had a heads up with the fam in
Waukesha for episode 4.
The three
are in Rovaniemi, Finland for the finale.
Nick first arrives at the house to meet up with his family and give a
bit of the background on the women. The
first to meet his family is Raven. She
first talks to Bella, then to Nick’s dad.
Finally Raven has a sit down with Nick’s mom. Nick then sits down with his mom for a
chat.
The next day
Vanessa arrives to meet the family.
After a quick chat with the family, Vanessa meets up with Nick’s mom
where she’s able to ask some serious questions.
Vanessa sits down with a few of the women in the family before she has a
chance to sit down with Nick’s dad. In
the meantime though, Nick sits down with his dad for a chat about Andi and that
relationship. During Vanessa and Nick’s dad’s conversation, and the chat
turns to the engagement again and how she’s worried about getting engaged and
it not working out. At the end of their
conversation, Nick’s dad was convinced that Vanessa really does love Nick. Vanessa says goodbye to the family before
Nick walks her out and he heads back in for a chat with the family. As with every season, the chatter goes to
which one would be right and whether that one is more ready than the other to
get engaged.
Vanessa was
the first to have her last chance date.
They first hopped on some horses up the mountai through the snowcapped
trees. They walked up to a cabin,
knocked on the door and out walked.....yep.....Santa. Think you can guess what happens next....out
came a gift. Hand made craft with images
of Nick and Vanessa on it with the saying of Nicko, Vanella and symbols that
mean love and fertility. Next the two of
them head out to the outside fire where they are able to sit down for a
chat. Once again the conversation turns
extremely serious. Seems that they don’t
have a ton of fun without the seriousness that over shadows it. Call me crazy. For the night time portion of their date they
head to Vanessa’s room at the Lapland Hotels Bear’s Lodge. Here is where the conversation gets deep
again. Before the night is over, Vanessa
is in tears again as she just isn’t feeling sure of what’s going to happen, yet
she has tried to reassure Nick over and over how she loves him.
The next day
is Raven’s date. She meets up with Nick
and learns that they will be ice skating.
During Nick’s ITM, he tells us that he just wants to get back to the fun
that is a part of him and Raven’s time is that conversation was really light or
non existant. Just lots of laughter and
fun. Before the daytime portion of their
date ended, Nick brought out some Husky puppies and the two of them were able
to play with the three puppies for a while before that portion of their date
ended. For the nighttime portion of
their date, they went back to Raven’s room at the Lapland Hotels Ounasvaara
Chalets. Inside they got into a bit of a
more serious conversation, but still, nothing to compare to the serious
conversations that Nick and Vanessa have.
Call me
crazy but it seems that the person who’s the F1 in the end always gets the
serious conversations and not much fun.....will tonight’s finale be an
extension on that??
The next
day, Neil Lane is in the house. Time for
Nick to choose an engagement ring.
Seemed to be a toss up between the cushion cut and the princess cut so
wonder what one he chose??
Raven
arrives first....Chris walks her in and up to the cabin where the FRC is taking
place. Correct me if I am wrong but did
Raven put hair extensions in for this??
After Raven’s speech to Nick, she is standing with bated breath waiting
for him to ask her to marry him but instead, received rejection. Nick tells her that he’s just not IN love
with her and cause of that, has to send her home. Didn’t she walk in with a black coat? Nick walked her without one out into the
freezing cold....sheesh.
Vanessa
arrives and Chris shows her into the cabin.
Inside stands Nick who promptly gets into his speech about when he
actually began falling in love with her.
You can see Vanessa welling up with tears and when it was time for her
to talk, the things she said about Nick and their journey made Nick start
crying. It all culminated with Nick
getting down on his knees and proposing to which Vanessa quickly said yes
to. Their time in Finland ended in a
reindeer drawn carriage.
During the
ATFR though, Nick of course had to confront Raven once more before he could be
reunited with Vanessa....
The one
thing that we did find out is that Raven is that she is over Nick and wishes
him and Vanessa well. When asked by
Chris, she said that she would go to Bachelor in Paradise this summer so all
you Raven fans out there....check out Paradise this summer to see more of
Raven. Now that we know that, who else
do you think is going to Paradise? Lets look
back on this last season or two of the Bachelor/Bachelorette.....could Luke,
Chase, or Robby from Joelle’s season also wind up there?? Then looking at The Bachelor, who else
besides Raven and Corinne do you think could wind up there as well??
Next up was
Vanessa. Chris was able to chat with her
as to how things have gone so far since they left Finland. Vanessa admits that watching the season,
listening to all the stuff being said out there has made things difficult, but
she also knows that they love one another and is just plain well looking
forward to getting in the same car with the guy and doing every day stuff. Next they brought out Nick. The two of them briefly talked about how
things have gone so far. They both said
that they will get married but no date set yet.
Just tying to get to know each other again and trying to find out what’s
in store for them.
Next up,
Chris brought on the stage Rachel, the next Bachelorette. She had a quick chat with Chris before he
sprung on her that her season of The Bachelorette was starting right then and
there.....The first four guys for her season were brought onto the stage; Demario, Blake, Dean and Eric.
It will be
interesting to see how it all plays out next season. We also have coming up, Bachelor in Paradise
and Haley and Emily happily ever after so it will be an interesting year coming
up that’s for sure.

Coastal Blogs The Bachelor 21: Lapland and Women Tell All
Ok, got to say one thing before I get talking about the episode….tonight’s epi was so enjoyable and sane….mostly cause the drama of Corinne was gone….FINALLY!
The first date went to Rachel. They met up where Nick explained that they’d be learning how to cross country ski…for both of them being physically active, this was of course extremely frustrating to Rachel when she continually landed on her side, butt and face….quite a few times. Personally, I only cross country skied once….and found about the same thing happening and haven’t been brave enough to try THAT again…..too many bruises….hand me a pair of downhill ski’s anyday!
After their skiing, they found themselves resting in the hut before having their last daytime activity of the day…. a sleigh ride. Meeting up for the night portion they enjoy a dinner before heading off to the fantasy suite.
The next day is Vanessa’s date. They meet up in the snow where Nick tells her that they are going to be doing a polar bear dip/sauna where they went from getting changed into the feezing cold water, back to the sauna to warm up. They did that over and over till they couldn’t handle it anymore. They finished their day in the hottub where they were able to have a chance for a serious conversation. This relationship seems to be full of the serious conversations. They met back up for evening portion where they enjoyed their dinner(yep, sarcasm here) and once again got into a serious conversation before they went to the fantasy suite.
The next day was the Rose Ceremony(thankfully we were given a look back to Raven’s cause even I needed to re-read my last blog to remember their date it seemed that long ago…LOL). Roses were handed first to Raven, then Vanessa which meant that Rachel was sent home.
Women Tell All
Let’s face it….. not a lot can be said about a Women Tell All that hasn’t been said before….all it seems to me is a screaming match, and this time is no different. In fact, believe it or not, it was even more so than normal especially between Taylor and Corinne. At least to Taylor’s credit, she tried to bury the hatchet and apologize for all that went down in the season…..Corinne, not so much. In fact Corinne was trying to make out that she never participated in the mudslinging till Taylor started it….I beg to differ. Annnnd I am about to jump back on my soap box here…..hopefully for the last time this season. The fact that Corinne went for a “nap” while everyone else stood in line for the rose ceremony IMO showed a lack of class, respect for EVERYONE else involved, INCLUDING the guy she was there to woo. That is the same point that the other women there were really trying to impress on her yet, Corinne just didn’t get it…..could this be part of Taylor’s point of not being socially mature?? IMO Corinne should really watch the show again and see what the other women are saying….maybe she’s still bitter/wants to carry on grudges against Taylor without actually hearing what the other women are saying too……Annnnnd, that thud you just heard is me jumping off my soap box once more….

In closing, would also like to say, Congrats to Rachel on becoming the next Bachelorette and look forward to seeing your season when it premiere’s in May. Coastal Blogs The Bachelor 21 – Hometowns Continue
So, last week we finished off with the preview of Andi showing up. And tonight, we begin right there....the women are showing up for the Rose Ceremony, yet he and Andi are still chatting. This isn’t looking good.
In the end though, all Andi did while she was there was to have a quick chat with Nick regarding what should/shouldn’t do during the fantasy suites. I think we all could of seen this coming considering the crap that he gave her about what they did in their fantasy suite as well. In the end, roses were handed out to Raven, Rachel and Vanessa.
Next up is the fantasy suite dates. They are off to Lapland Finland and the first date goes to Raven. The two of them meet up before having a heli tour of Finland. When they were done, they headed to the local pub where they begin taking in the local activities such as playing darts. Sitting down, they were able to get into a chat revolving around her hometown date.
In the end, they went back to the fantasy suite and Raven revealed to him(and us for that matter)some pretty what some would call private things....guess the cat’s out of the bag on that one.
Tonight’s episode ended with only one fantasy date done, but a preview video for next week where we find that they will do the last two fantasy dates and also the Women Tell All in a 3 hour epi. Coastal Blogs The Bachelor 21: Hometowns Begin
Tonight’s episode continues where last week finished. The women still don’t know if there is the rose ceremony tonight or if roses will be handed out. Nick came back to the suite and handed out roses to Vanessa, Corrine and Rachel along with Raven who previously got the group date rose from last week.
The hometown dates began with Raven’s. They meet up and Raven tells Nick that they will be doing some atv’ing, grain-binning. When they went to go up onto the grain bins, a cop shows up...Nick thinks he’s in a bunch of trouble....till he finds out that the cop is actually Raven’s brother. After introducing each other and having a quick chat, the two of them carry on with their date.
For the evening portion of the date, Nick and Raven head back to the family home where Nick meets her parents and is re-introduced to her brother. Immediately though, Raven is informed that her dad is cancer free. Before the night was through, Nick asked her father if he had their blessing and of course that was there.
Rachel and Nick meet up and have a bit of a chat before she tells him that they are heading to church together. After church, they get to spend a little time around one another before heading to the fam. Inside though, conversation turns to race and how that would affect both of them. Before the end of the night, Nick talked to her mom(didn’t get to meet the dad though as he wasn’t there) and again the topic went to race versus the connection that they both are having. Before the end of the conversation though, the topic got changed back to what attracted Rachel to Nick and to his credit, it was him that keep bringing that gist of the conversation around.
Nick meets up with Corinne. She tells him that they are going shopping....you can see Nick going oh goody...oh NOT. LOL. Corinne picks out a bunch of clothes for Nick to try on and when they decide that there is one outfit that is good, Nick(and me for that matter) is shocked that the clothes cost well over 3,000.00. OMG! After arriving at the house, they sit down to dinner, including the nanny. After dinner, Nick first talks to the nanny(not the mom but the nanny) and her father. After having a good chat with them all, Nick makes his escape and heads onto the next....
Nick arrives in Montreal for his final HTD where he meets up with Vanessa. They first head off to the school where she works. Vanessa introduces Nick to her students and in turn, each of them offer a rose back to Vanessa. When they were done with the school, Vanessa and Nick head to her parents beginning with her mom’s since she comes from a divorced family. Nick meets her mom, sister, brother, aunts, grandparents. Nick talks to her mom and sister before they move onto the father’s side of the family. Both Nick and Vanessa talked to her father. Nick asked for the blessing to get engaged to Vanessa and of course when the dad told Vanessa that Nick did that, it made her feel great....till the dad also told her that Nick asked the other families. This of course made her question things again.
In New York where the HTD rose ceremony is to take place, Nick is getting ready for the ceremony when there’s a knock at the door....opening it up, Nick finds Andi standing there.....and we get another “to be Continued............

I have given up hope that we will actually get a whole epi in one 2 hr session without all the to be continued happening. Coastal Blogs The Bachelor 21: Epi 6/7
Well, another week begins and once again, we are starting an epi off in the middle.......sheesh.
After Nick’s revelation the night before, the women are left deflated and trying to discuss the situation amongst themselves. Nick’s sitting by himself on the beach when Chris walks up and begins chatting with him. Nick reveals that he’s contemplating checking out......
Back at the room, Nick shows up and talks to the women. At the end of their chat, he informs the women that he’s got things figured out and is staying the course. He also tells them that they are cancelling the rose ceremony and are flying to the island of Bimini to carry on the journey. We see the women getting ready, packing and them in their little puddle jumper plane on their way to the next spot. After checking out their new digs, they find the next date card....Vanessa, lets dig deeper......Nick. This of course sends Corinne off into the deep end cause as she puts it, for someone to get their second individual date when she hasn’t had one yet(forgetting all the time they just spent with one another in New Orleans) isn’t fair...yep, back to the Corinne show......ugh!
Vanessa went down to the marina to meet up with Nick and finds out that they are heading out on the ocean for the day. So far on their date, they are continually talking and getting deeper for sure. Their conversations are really of substance for sure.....more so than I see him have with any others, but that’s just me. During their date they went snorkeling and checking out an old ship as a reef.
Back at the room, the next date card arrives. Corrine, Kristina and Raven are going on the group date which sends Corinne into another melt down.....
We next get caught up with Nick and Vanessa as they arrive for the dinner portion of their date...... Vanessa lets us in on a “secret” that she’s been having and that she is falling in love with Nick and wants to tell him tonight....When she tells him though....she’s not really getting the I love you from him or minimally the I am falling in love.....but instead gets the I really like you comment. The night ended and Vanessa was left wondering what’s going on....
As the women get ready for their date, of course the competition happens and they all are talking smack in their ITM’s. As they head out on the yacht, Nick informs them that they will be snorkeling with the local wildlife. That wildlife includes sharks. Kristina has a hard time with swimming with sharks so heads back to the boat....of course Nick joins her to make sure she’s ok. This of course doesn’t sit well with Corinne and we get an endless dialogue of how unfair that someone other than her is getting Nick’s attention....cry me a river.
When they head out for their night portion of the date, it is Kristina that gets the first alone time. They have time for a quick chat....while Corinne is stuffing her face again...LOL. In Raven’s time with Nick, she tells about her father having cancer. Before the end of their chat, they share some sweet kisses
Back at the room, the next date card arrives....Danielle, lets ride off into the sunset. She of course is so excited for the next day.
Nick finally takes Corinne aside for some alone time. I am sorry, but I really don’t see anything of substance between Nick and Corinne. All thats there is just the physical. When they are done, Nick hands out the group date rose to Raven. The two of them get a live performance by Adam Friedman. This sends Corinne into the dumps as I think she automatically assumed that the rose was hers.
The next day, Danielle has her date. When she arrives, she see’s Nick standing by a couple of bikes. The two of them bike around the town checking out the sights and doing some window shopping before taking a breather and trying to have a conversation....trying is the operative word. Conversation for them wasn’t coming easy. Nick states that he hopes that he can figure things out during their night portion as he really wants something to be there but so far, it’s not coming easy.
At the room, the next date card arrives.....Rachel, let’s get a taste of the local flavor....Nick.
For the night portion of the date, both of them were having a better conversation but when Danielle tried to open up about how she feels, you can tell by the look on Nick’s face....he’s just not feeling it. Nick tells her though that he doesn’t think his heart can get there so he’s wanting to break it off and send her home.
Danielle goes back to the room, packs up her stuff and says goodbye to the other women....meanwhile, Corinne is conspiring how to get more alone time with Nick....oh boy, here we go again. This better not be another to be continued episode with all this crap going down about Corinne...enough is enough already! In the end though, Corinne didn’t get her way and she was sent home before she could seal the deal per se.
Rachel has gotten ready for her date and is talking to the women when Nick shows up to pick her up for their date. They head to a place that’s known for only having locals there and no tourists....so here heads a couple of tourists. Ironic....no?? They talk about her hometown and what he could expect on it.
Nick and Chris sit down for a chat when Nick tells him that he knows who he’s sending home but wants to do it before the rose ceremony. After their chat, Nick heads to the house to break the news to Kristina. Kristina tries really hard to talk him out of it to no avail and she’s sent home.
You would think that Nick would come back to the room and tell the other women that they are all going on hometown dates.....but oh no, we get ANOTHER to be continued episode. I give up. One thing that I know though.....if Corinne stays and isn’t chosen in the end by Nick....If for some unexplainable reason she is offered a chance to be the next bachelorette.....sorry folks but you are on your own for that season....I am NOT torturing myself through a season of her.....and jumping down off my soap box now.

Coastal Blogs The Bachelor 21 – Epi 5/6
Well, here we go again…..just a look back at last week, on the 2/1 Nick let Taylor go and he and Corrine went to dinner….well, tonight’s begins there and as you can imagine…..drama fest for starters.
Taylor came back and in front of Nick, called Corrine out for lying to Nick. Taylor then asked to talk to Nick alone….this of course prompts a major call out session by Corrine. Outside though…Taylor tells Nick more about the woman that he’s not seeing. As I knew…nothing changed and in the end, Taylor is still gone and drama queen Corrine is still there.
The women all arrive for the cocktail party and are swiftly informed by Chris that there won’t be one and they are headed directly into the rose ceremony. Along with Rachel, Danielle M and Corrine, roses were also handed out to: Kristina, Raven, Vanessa, Danielle L, Jasmine, and Whitney. They are informed that they are heading off to St Thomas.
The women arrive at the Frenchman’s Reef and Morning Star Resort where they begin checking out their suite when they see Nick coming in on the float plane. The women head down to meet Nick and he informs them that it would be Kristina who will get the first date this week.
The two of them take off in the plane and head to their date location at the Annaberg Ruins where they sit down for a beer and a chat. When they were done, they headed out for a quick dip before getting ready for dinner.
Back at the resort, the woman’s “helper” has arrived and of course Corrine was all over that one…..praytell none of the other women were acting like a baby and needed the use of their “nanny”. Yep, I am maybe being mean about Corrine, but come on….SERIOUSLY????
Nick and Kristina are at dinner and talking and she was able to give Nick some back story on what’s happened in her life and how she had left home and was sent to an orphanage, then how she came to America. At the end of their chat, Nick handed out the rose to her. While they are sitting there at the table, they hear music starting up in the background which ends up being a local “band” playing. The two partake in a dance.....
Back at the hotel, the next date card arrives.....Life’s a beach...Nick. Corrine, Danielle M, Jasmine, Rachel, Raven and Vanessa are on the date. This leaves another two in one in the form of Danielle L and Whitney. This of course sends Jasmine into another funk for the date as she knows that she’s not getting her individual date this week.
The women and Nick start their date on a catamaran as they head off to a beach. From there, they begin just having beach games and drinking. Yep, the drinking part won’t bring on any drama now will it????
The women begin their 3/3 volleyball game where Nick is the audience. On one team there is Vanessa, Jasmine and Danielle M, on the other team there is Corrine, Raven and Rachel. The game started off fun but didn’t last long till it turned sour. And guess who started it all........yep.....her again.
When Nick and women arrived for the night portion of their date, Nick began taking the women aside for some alone time to find out where they are at. Rachel is the first one to get some alone time followed by Vanessa, and Corrine. During the date, Jasmine was having a harder and harder time on the date and starts self imploding. Raven is the next one to be taken aside which of course sends Jas more into the unknown....LOL. When Raven comes back from her time and it’s Jas’s turn.....she really lites into Nick about how she feels about not getting an individual date or even a group date rose. Through their time, you can see Nick checking out. Nick’s looking around for help to get out of the situation.....at the end when Nick finally gets a word in edgewise.....Nick tells her that he’s sending her home a he doesn’t feel it with her.
NOTE: although it wasn’t shown, we get an ITM from Rachel saying that it was Raven who got the group date rose.
The next day is the 2/1 with Danielle L and Whitney. They take a heli to another beach where they are both able to sit down and have a chat with Nick. First up is Whitney.
Back at the hotel, the women have a chance to chat and figure out who may be staying or going.
Next up for a chat is Danielle. They are able to have a quick chat. Nick leaves Danielle sitting there but goes back to Whitney. He tells her that there just isn’t enough between them for her to stay and sends her home. Danielle and Nick take off in the heli again off to where they will continue their date and there stands Whit. Is it me or is that the same bed and canopy drapes that were on that bed that Chris Soules season had and the two women were left on it in the Badlands??
For the night portion of their date, they went out for dinner and another chat and some wine after touring one of the oldest prisons on St. Thomas. Danielle informs Nick that she thinks that she’s falling in love with Nick. Sitting there and talking though.....Nick realizes that he’s not meant to be with Danielle neither and sends her home as well.
After Nick sends Danielle L home and after the “luggage guy” removes Danielle L’s suitcase, the women lose it. Then Nick arrives and has a quick chat with the women......his talk does nothing but “frighten” or make the women think that he may actually leave......of course that’s where the epi ends and we get another “to be continued” going across our screens....why in the world do I think an epi will end in any other way right now.....
I don’t know why I haven’t really enjoyed this season so far....be it the lead, or the extensive silly drama(more so than other seasons) or the season of the “to be continued”.....yea, maybe that one cause it’s totally wearing me down. Can’t even get interested in an epi cause you don’t know if the epi is actually going to finish or to be continued onto the next week...... Hopefully the producers have learned how people are not getting into the to be continued theme this season.

The Bachelor Season 21: The Season of the ‘To Be Continued’, Continues on
I know I say it every episode and again every episode I pray that things will return to normal of how an epi begins with Harrison arriving at the mansion/hotel telling the women what to expect that week, the dates begin, the cocktail party(or not) and a Rose Ceremony to END the week.....yet again, I am disappointed....anyone else out there feeling the same way?????
So, here we go once more....starting the week off at ANOTHER cocktail party instead of what normally happens at the beginning of the week. We are in the middle of yet another spat between Corrine and another woman.....I am personally really getting tired of Corrine and her voice, LOL. Let’s face it though, the more “food that you feed the producers”, the more airtime you are going to get. Hopefully this is a note to future contestants, the more you give the editing crew, the more they have to work with to spin it as they want....this is what Corrine’s family is saying. They are saying that her words are being taken out of context and she’s not the way she has been portrayed so far. My thoughts on that is....if you don’t give them ammo, they can’t use it. Believe me though......I am NOT excusing the stuff that Corrine has said cause it did come out of her mouth.
Since roses were already handed out to Danielle L, Kristina, and Raven.....the other roses were handed out to: Whitney, Danielle M, Jasmine, Rachel, Jaimi, Josephine, Vanessa, Alexis, Corrine, and Taylor. This means that Sarah and Astrid are sent home.
Episode 5 begins now in New Orleans.....
New Orleans....now that`s a place that is still on my “bucket list”. The women arrive in NO and do a little tour before landing at their hotel for the week the JW Marriott. Chris shows up at the hotel to tell the women what’s happening this week and of course it is the dreaded 2/1 week along with an individual and a group date. When Chris leaves, the date card is left behind and it’s Rachel’s.
Nick meets up with Rachel on Bourbon Street at the French Market where they did some shopping and trying the local food including hotsauce and Beneits. From there, they took part in a traditional “second line” and continued to dance through the streets. They then take part in dancing in a club that has a live band, Lolo was playing. For the night time portion of their date, they went to a warehouse that has the Mardi Gra floats stored there where they were able to sit down for a chat and dinner. They were able to talk about their families, how the last time she was in New Orleans, they did a second line for a funeral…well this time had a really different feel. After their chat, Nick says that he may be breaking the rules, but tells her that he’s super into her and then asks her to accept the rose.
Back at the hotel, the date card arrives…..All the girls names were read out except Corrine and Taylor. I think I saw that one coming for a while now….those two can’t stop fighting with one another so win, win for the producers….let the drama fest begin. LOL.
The girls arrive at the Houmas House for their date….when the women are informed that it is one of the most haunted houses in New Orleans….their moods change a little bit. LOL. Some were scardy cats, others were skeptical and some were absolutely not in the believing realm…LOL. Jasmine was one that was totally unbelieving of the whole ghosty thing. Most of the women, including Nick as well all said that they felt a heavy or different feeling being in the house. Through the date, they play with the ouija board, did their own seance trying to bring forward Mae, the little girl of the house. Of course a bunch of creepy light stuff, different things happen that may or may not be explainable happens.
Back at the hotel, the next date card arrives: Corrine and Taylor meet me in the bayou.
With Nick and the women, Nick then takes Danielle M out for some alone time. They have a quick chat and finish it with some sweet kisses before it ends. Raven is the next one to get some alone time and a good chat before they head back to the group. Nick hands out the rose to Danielle M.
Up next, the infamous two on one.
The women take a limo out to the Bayou where they get into a skiff and take it out to the location where they learn the importance of voodoo dolls and fortune readings. Taylor is the first one to get her reading….of course what is being said is completely related to what’s happening right now in the show. Including how Taylor is dealing with someone that is trying to raise problems and causing problems. The fortune teller tells her not to engage as it won’t end well for her. Meanwhile during Corrine’s telling, the teller was trying to tell Corrine that her card that came up means how Corrine can say things that are sharp and can get her in trouble….I think the teller was trying to tell Corrine that if she continues to do what she’s doing, things won’t end well…..which of course landed on deaf ears.
When the readings ended…..of course we get another spat between Corrine and Taylor where Taylor confronted Corrine about the lies that Corrine told Nick…oh what a vicious circle.
When Nick handed out the rose….. it went to Corrine. Nick said goodbye to Taylor but because of the circumstances, wasn’t able to walk her away….instead, Nick and Corrine left and left Taylor in the middle of the Bayou. Taylor was then taken to the group that was waiting to cleanse her of the Bayou. Meanwhile, Nick and Corrine went to a different locale to have a chance to chat.
For those that thought it was the end….nope…..Taylor comes back to the location where the two of them are. ANNNND we get another to be continued thing. Come on….
Well, that’s all for this week. Maybe starting next week we can start a weeks worth of dates and actually have 2 rose ceremonies in that week to get caught up…..or am I dreaming?? Have a great week everyone. Check out the chart and the preview for next week……
Coastal Blogs The Bachelor 21: Epi 3-4
Here we go.....Starting an episode ¾ way through from last week. Wonder when we can go back to the old days where we start an epi at the beginning, have a week’s worth of dates and finally finish an epi with a rose ceremony....is that too much to ask for??
So, back at the mansion, they are in the middle of the pool party when Vanessa takes Nick aside to chat. Bottom line, she didn’t hold back and flat out said that if he’s looking for a wife, she’ll stay, if not, then she’ll gladly hand the rose back and get on with her life.....
Inside though, a couple of the girls – Taylor and Sarah found Corrine sleeping and had their version of a heart to heart with her.....about time is all I will say on that.
Finally it is rose ceremony time. Along with Danielle L, Vanessa and Rachel, Nick hands out roses to Raven, Taylor, Whitney, Kristina, Jasmine, Alexis, Astrid, Danielle M, Jaimi, Josephine, Sarah and you guessed it, Corrine. This leaves Brittany, Christen and Dominique heading home.
The next day, the women get a visit from Chris who tell them that they are hitting the road and their first stop is in Waukesha Wisconsin. The women all arrive and check out their digs away from “home”.
First, Nick meets his mom and dad at a coffee shop to fill them in a bit on what’s happened so far.
Back with the women, they are checking out the time when they meet up with Nick....he tells them a bit about the town and where he grew up. Before leaving, he tells the women that the first date is an individual date and it’s with Danielle L.
Nick and Danielle head off and do a brief walk about town before stopping off at the local bakery/deli where they go into the back and decorate their cookies before acting really silly and eating them. They then stroll through town where they “run” into one of his ex’s. The three of them sit down for a chat. Pretty lame I must say. Next the two head into a park and have a chance for a sit down. They are talking about all their “firsts”. First kiss, makeouts, etc when they start making out themselves. Next up, the two head out for drinks and are able to chat some more about their histories.
Back at the “mansion”, the next date card is read out and everyone but Corrine and Raven is read out....you can see how excited Corrine is thinking she’s got it in the bag per se for the individual date and when her name is read out you can see the confounded look....lol. Raven is so excited as she knows she has the second individual date this week.
When we get back to Nick and Danielle, he hands out the rose to her before leading her out to see Chris Lane singing. The two dance for a while before sharing a kiss in front of the crowd.
It’s group date time.....The women are walking up the path and of course the Corrine show starts....come on...that woman’s voice is really starting to grate on my nerves. When the women meet up with Nick though, they see him feeding the calves. The women are informed that they will be doing some “farm chores” so gear up.....as they get dressed, we get the resounding chorus from Corrine of how she doesn’t do farm chores, hell, she doesn’t even do chores. As the women start doing things from feeding the cows, milking them, to shovelling shit, we see Corrine doing contortions trying to get through the bars to run and hide so she doesn’t have to do any of them....come on, I know some things aren’t pleasant. Heck many of us have had to do unpleasant things in our live, but talk about immaturity.
Back at the house, the next card arrives for Raven. Raven, let’s kick it. This of course makes Raven so excited and ready for the date.
The group are now heading to their “after party” at the farm where they are able to start chatting. Kristina is the first to take Nick aside.....oh wow, not Corrine for a change. Vanessa is the next one to get some alone time with Nick. She hands him a scrap book that has pics of Vanessa and bits and pieces of who Vanessa is along with a note inside. Back with the group, Corrine “addresses” the group and says that she knows that stuff is being said or happening behind her back so she wants it solved. LOL, that IMO is where the immaturity starts. I keep telling myself that I am not going to bore you all with my ramblings about Corrine anymore, but how in the heck can I blog this show without talking about Corrine this season….Holy crap….and yep, pun intended.
The next one to get alone time with Nick is Rachel. They are trying to have a conversation while poor Taylor and Vanessa are still dealing with you know who….LOL. It is laughable that the reason why Corrine didn’t take part in any of the “chores” is cause she had a medical condition…holy smokes. Corrine immediately runs to Nick and tells him how mean the other women are, etc…what a joke. When all was said and done, Nick handed out the rose to Kristina. This of course set Corrine off again….OMG!
Next up is Raven’s date. She walks to the meeting location where Nick is waiting for her. They do another walk abouts in the town where they head to the soccer pitch where they watch Bella practice soccer before watching them play their game. Raven also had a chance to meet Nick’s parents at the game.
Back at the house the topic of conversation is….guess…..yep, that’s right. Back to Corrine again. Come on!
Nick, Raven and the soccer team head to the roller rink. Bella and Raven have a chance to talk alone before the group have some time on the floor together skating around. To end the night, Nick and Raven head out to the art museum for dinner and a better chat. Raven tells Nick that she had been cheated on, went in and caught her ex red handed so to speak and went cray cray on them. Needless to say, If they end up together, Nick had better watch his back if he ever has any intentions of cheating on her. LOL. In the end, he handed out the rose to her. Before the night ended, they roller bladed around the Art Museum before sharing some kisses.
For the cocktail party, they are back at the farm. The women arrive and get settled in before Nick comes in to join them. Danielle L was the first one to take Nick aside for a chat but we as the viewer knows that it is Taylor that wanted to take Nick aside for a chat first. Taylor heads out to interrupt them and get her chat in. The whole time that Nick and Taylor are chatting, Corrine is talking about Taylor behind her back. When Taylor comes back in, Corrine takes her out to confront her….and fireworks start.
Just when things are getting good…….we get another to be continued. What’s up with that?? Why in the world can we not go back to a proper episode. The episode starts, a weeks worth of dates happens, then the rose ceremony…..come on producers. Enough is enough!!
Coastal Blogs The Bachelor 21: Epi 2 round two.....or Whatever
Tonight was the continuation of last week. We first start out with the women at the mansion talking about the blindside they got last night at the group date with regards to Liz and Nick “hooking up” at Janner’s wedding. Then we get to the cocktail party. Nick addresses it immediately in his welcome speech, and encourages the women to ask questions on it.....so think you can all guess where this is headed. Then again, there’s Corrine. She comes out to see Nick....with just a coat on. Think you can all guess where a container of whipcream, just a coat and no dress, and her thinking only of herself.....
During the Rose Ceremony, Christen, Astrid, Taylor, Whitney, Kristina, Danielle L, Rachel, Vanessa, Raven, Jaimi, Dominique, Sarah, Alexis, Brittany, Josephine and Jasmine all got roses which left Elizabeth, Hailey, Lacey, all joining the previously evicted Liz.
The next day, Harrison showed up for the first date card of the week. On the card were Christen, Corrine, Danielle L, Jasmine, Kristina, Taylor and Whitney....they were all surprised at the mansion by the Backstreet Boys and were told to get ready for their date. When the women showed up in their limo, they were taken inside to rehearse the dance routine for the live performance that night. Of course Corrine was full of drama all during the practice as she is slow but surely realizing that there are more women there than just herself....booohooooo.....
Nick and the women headed to the after party where of course, Corrine is the first to steal time with Nick....gave him a silly sob story, admitted that she didn’t say anything to the other women, and got her kisses in before anyone else had a chance with him. Danielle L was the next one and of course got her makeout session in with Nick too.
Back at the mansion, the women get the next date card. Vanessa is the one to get the individual date.
The women are drinking the booze up at the after party and it’s getting pretty silly. Before the end of the date, Nick handed out the date rose to Danielle L. Corrine.....dare I say, this is only week 2 and I feel like I am going to puke at the sound of her voice and the nonsense that she`s saying....come on already!.
The next day is Vanessa`s date. The two of them get to take a zero G plane and experience what it would be like to be in space. Their date was going awesome….till Vanessa got sick and started throwing up. Got to give Nick props though…..he stayed right beside her and tried to make her feel better. When they finally got down on the ground, they headed out for their nighttime portion.
Back at the mansion, the next date card arrives……Alexis, Astrid, Brittany, Dominique, Jaimi, Rachel, Sarah….I am done playing the field.
When we get back to Nick, he and Vanessa are on the top of the highest building in LA for dinner. They have a good chat about Nick and his past escapades in the show….then conversation took a more serious note when Vanessa tells him of how her grandfather died 3 weeks before she came to the show. In the end, she was given the rose.
The next day, the women arrive at the track where they are told that they’d be doing different events to “win”. First was the long jump, high jump, javelin to Nick’s heart, then the final 3 were Alexis, Astrid and Rachel who all had to complete the 100 yard dash. Even though Rachel crossed the finish line first, she dropped the ring and Astrid got it and won some extra time in the hot tub. When they went to the after party, it was Astrid was chosen first. Nick was able to get her the ring that wasn’t broken. It was at this after party that Dominique started falling apart. By the end of the night, Nick let Dominique go and she was sent home from the afterparty.
The next day, Harrison shows up at the mansion and tells the women that there won’t be a cocktail party that night but there will be a pool party instead. This of course sends the women scurrying to get ready.
They are all by the pool when Nick shows up. He seems interested in taking as many aside as possible to get to know them, till Corrine shows up and wraps him around her little finger again. They both go into the jumpy castle at the front of the mansion where she proceeds to straddle him….just in time for the other women to see them. Talk about drama queen again……..gimme a break!
Then…….we get the “to be continued” once more. I would of thought that the producers would of learned their lesson during Chris Soules’s season when so many were getting really fed up with the to be continued crap…the producers said they’d not do it again……..well, guess they are getting amnesia again cause here we go once again. Maybe we all need to remind them????

Coastal Blogs Episode 2 of The Bachelor
Hey all, I am back for another season of The Bachelor. I am sorry that I didn't do a blog or charts for epi 1, but as I am sure you know, nothing much out of the ordinary happens on night one......unless you count someone arriving on a camel normal?????
Anyways, here we go for tonight's epi:
The girls wake up and start their day by......you guessed it, mimosa's and the booze starts flowing.....this is even before they know what's going on there. Mind you, that is sorted pretty quickly when Chris shows up and tells them the usual spiel....not everyone is getting dates.....that prompts the worried looks on the girls faces. Oh well, Josephine sorts that as rather quickly after Harrison leaves the room, she reads out the date card; Alexis, Brittany, Corrine, Danielle L, Elizabeth W, Hailey, Jasmine, Lacey, Raven, Sarah, Taylor, and Vanessa......Always a bridesmaid.....Love Nick.
FWIW, I think I already figured out who will be the talker of the bunch this season as Corrine was it for epi 1 for sure and she`s already kicked that up a notch already tonight.
The women head off in their convertibles to meet up with Nick.....When they arrive, they are told that they will be doing a photoshoot with brides and bridesmaids. So, we have a shotgun bride, a classic bride, a vacation bride(or at least that`s what I am calling it since she's wearing a bikini, then we have Brittany as a topless bride(dressed in a bikini bottoms and hair lengthened to cover her boobs). When Brittany came into the room where the women were getting primped up and dressed in their designated gowns, Corrine went a little jealous since she was already in the bikini one and here comes Brittany showing her up in her topless gown....lol.
The photoshoot was full of jealousy, cattiness, etc.....think you get the drift but I can tell you that:

Brittany: Adam/Eve Wedding - leaves for bottoms and topless
Danielle L: Traditional Bride

I think we can all agree though that the raunchiest one of the bunch was Corrine's though....she took off her bathing suit top in the pool, in front of the other women, and got Nick to cover her breasts......You can tell that Nick was super uncomfortable about it all....
Well, I thought that the photoshoot was awkward, but that was nothing compared to the afterparty.....Corrine went to new lows. When all arrived at the after party location, Corrine was the first to take Nick away for private time....but that wasn't the first time.....she proceeded to interupt 2 more times. In the end though after her antics.......Here I thought that booze had something to do with it.....well, it's getting pretty obvious to me, Corrine is just that way.....here we go again. In the end though......Corrine got the group date rose.
The next day, Danielle M had her individual date....the first one of the season. Danielle was picked up in a heli....the two of them flew out over California and then landed on a private yacht. Throughout the date though, we get bits of what's happening at the mansion.....Liz tells Christen that she and Nick hooked up. Sheesh......
When Nick and Danielle were having their dinner, Danielle was able to tell Nick about her fiance...and how he had an overdose. Of course, things took a very serious note at that. In the end, Nick gave her the rose and they went to the ferris wheel nearby where they shared some kisses.
Back at the mansion....the next date card arrives and it goes to Astrid, Christen, Eliz, Jaimi, Josephine, and Kristine.....we need to talk - Nick
So........this is going to be awkward...... They are at the Museum of Broken Relationships. Supposedly Nick left something in the museum......a rose and of course the ring that he picked out for Kaitlyn. Now.....this is where I have a problem. Why would a ring of that value be left at that museum.....to me that makes no sense. Maybe the rose will of been left there after today but IMO, highly doubt the ring will remain as well.....what do you all think???
As they are there at the museum, they happen stance upon a couple in the throws of having a really bad breakup.....this of course stunns the women till the museum curator shows up and tells them all that it is just an enactment. Now they are also told the purpose of the date.....they will also have to re-enact a breakup with Nick. Yep, this is going to go well.....not!
Most of the "breakups" went fine and uneventful. Then came Josephine when she made up a story about having to pick up bottles after Nick and his drinking ways.....in the process, she sure clocked him a good one. They finished their mock fight and you could tell that it stung Nick in more ways than one.....Josephine in good nature though gave him a kiss on that cheek to make him feel better. Then of course there was Liz's one. Now looking at the other women(ones that didn't know as remember, she's already told Christen), the whole "breakup" is definitely from left field and looking at the women's faces, it's obvious that they were in the dark as to the meaning of it all.
For the after party though; that's where the proverbial "shit hit the fan" began though..... The only one that knows of Nick/Liz's history is Christen and when Nick found out that Liz has started telling the women, they had a chat. During the chat, Nick says that he has begun to realize that there just isn't something there for him and that Liz wasn't "making sense". At the end of their chat, he let her go.
Meanwhile, Nick goes back to the group and begins to tell them the history between him and Liz.....and what do you know.....we are given the "To be Continued" sign across our screen again. I for one thought the producers finally figured out that we don't like that......but here we go again. We had it in season 19 and it's starting here already. Oh well......
I will be posting the chart as it stands right now.....we don't have a rose ceremony stats on it but can at least fill the rest in for you all.
I will also be posting a preview video too....That's all for this week.....hope you all have a fabulous week and I will be back next one for some more of this....LOL.
